Overnight at the river. Very popular here. A bit different to last time when it was flooded.TFTC!
Found at 9:55 AM GAFF1.We are camped at the Galena South camp ground and this morning after a grand breakfast we headed for Kalbarri, but first we went 900 metres north to do this cache which was a nice straight forward find for the first cache of the day Thanks to jowiba
A nice little stop-off on the road between Denham and Kalbarri. Found quickly and then on the road again. Thanks for the cache.
On our way southwards where its cold and windy and wet, doing some caching to make us happy.TFTC
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 84 - Geraldton to Euraday area via Northampton. Today was a steady drive north for half a day. I did a couple of caches as I left Geraldton and then managed to pick up a few more along the way. The best bit was a detour for the Ajana Binnu Trail Labs and caches. The old dam was very impressive and must have been quite impressive when the lid was intact. My roadside camp was a little noisy, but had some network coverage so I was able to keep a bit up to date. Hamelin pool for tomorrow, even less driving and only one cache to do.This area was very popular with the traveling public. Way too many people for me, so I just pulled in long enough to get and sign this cache. My spot was a but further along. Thanks for the cache jowiba48614.11 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Adventure Lab Tag A#455**Albida**
Camped here overnight. Great spot, but I've learned the hazards of swagging near a river on a cold night - everything is wet!
Kept an eye on this one all the way from carnarvon. Stopped in for a quick find. Tftc
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT then over the top of WA to Perth.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield Nat Park, Wyndham and the Gibb River Road.TFTC.Nice quick grab in the rain.
The sun is well behind us, and the clouds that rolled in have brought rain. Patchy, but steady now... a nice close park and grab! A duck back to the car to sign and a quick replace. A Mega camp ground here, the rivers full and so much good camping spaces. Thanks for the cache.
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia. After spending two nights at Big Lagoon in Francois Peron National Park we called in at this cache on our way through Northampton as we headed southwards. Thanks for the cache jowiba!

Heading north on a road trip with richlink enjoying many, many beautiful and interesting locations. We made a quick find here, thanks jowiba.
We are having a little bit of time off from helping our friends in Nanson we decided to head north to try and collect a few more LGA's and Lab caches and anything else that pops up on screen.
We agree with the cache page that this would be an ideal spot to stop for the night but unfortunatly it still being mid morning ii eas too early to pull up stumps if we wanted to complete our mission.
There were a couple of caravan here but they were on the opposite side of the river to gz so we had no trouble at all locating the container and adding our name to the log.
Many thanks for showing us this location and for the hide.

Brad and Janet are on another epic journey. This time it involves many of Len Beadell’s 6500km of roads including the Anne Beadell, the Connie Sur, the Heather, the Neale, the Gun Barrel Highway, the Gary, the Talawana Track, the Gary Junction Rd and more.
And of course a 2 day visit to Maralinga which Len also located, surveyed and largely built as he had with Woomera and Emu. An amazing man.
If you don’t know of him he wrote some wonderful books. Laconic with a dry sense of wit, they are an excellent read. They are also available as audiobooks as is a recording of his brilliant after dinner talk one evening in Shepparton. Worth a listen.
And now the Moon Tours trip is over we are heading back to Adelaide via whichever way takes our fancy after a few days rest and repair in Karratha. Almost certainly down the WA Coast before heading to Hyden and the land of the Salmon Gums.
Thanks

Today we are on the way from Kalbarri to Denham/Monkey Mia. Unfortunately there are not many caches on that route. This one was one of them and we were glad to stretch our legs.
Thanks for the cache and regards from Switzerland.

After a long journey north to watch the eclipse, I am now winding my way back home. This was one of the caches I stopped off at on the drive today down to Geraldton. Having clocked up the km's today it was great to pull in here and stretch the legs. Also great to tick off another *Leaping* cache too No problems here today, it was a nice quick find TFTC
Added A Great Leap Forward log book to this cache. It seemed appropriate.
Heading south after one mintue of moon shadow. This is one of stops on a long journey.

Don't archive. I will be passing GZ otw to the Exmouth eclipse on 17th April, I am more than happy to place a magnetic here with the permission of the CO.
I logged this one a year ago and, as I'm camped here again, thought I would check up on it. It would appear that the sign has been replaced as the posts are brand new and have obviously been replaced recently. I looked carefully, but found no sign of the container
I will disable this cache for now. If someone wants to replace this cache with a magnetic mint tin or similar you are welcome, otherwise I will archive the cache.

A quick stop and grab. The magnet is broken and the cache was on the ground. The edge of the container is a bit broken and because it's raining a lot the logbook is wet, tftc!
Picked up this one while out for a walk from the on-site camp,
Another one down on our 10 month tour of the big lap.

Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Loved this area and making this find too.
Thanks jowiba for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

It was raining when I pulled in, so I was grateful to have a quick find. I took the cache to the car to open it and sign the log in the dry. Cache and log are good, apart from it being no longer magnetic. TFTC jowiba.

Found after hands and knees search. It is very low in the tree, and in excellent condition.
The sign was damaged and the cache is currently hidden in the tree behind. I am currently not in the area to check it myself so can the next geocacher please let me know what the status is?
Unfortunately despite our best efforts today we were unable to locate your your cache. The host has been damaged and even looking in the vicinity we could not locate your cache.
Just as we were about to leave empty handed we decided to read the logs and saw the hint about the tree behind gz. After another quick look we found the cache in good condition. Thanks for placing.
