Quick find after sightseeing the Batman Bridge. Thankyou for placing this here for us to log a find.
Quick pick up on the way to our next camp site. Took me a little longer than it should have as I missed the cache on two looks at my expected GZ . TFTC
[9044] Holidays on Tasmania, day 12. Today we had to move on from Launceston towards St. Helens at the Westcoast. We took the scenic route and stopped for a handful of geocaches and short walks to see wetlands, waterfalls and myrtle rainforest. This quickly found geocache also belonged to our route today. TFTC!

Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip.
Day Three: Tasmania’s North Coast
Weather: sensational, like spring, until the sun went down …
A bit of a walk from the best parking spot if you’re heading towards George Town, but still easy enough, and the new calves in the adjacent paddock are adorable.
This is my first find in George Town LGA which somehow got missed on my last Tassie trip, so thanks for this hide Grumbligrot.
It’s officially a mega.

Bush Track and I had a joint day out caching in the area, it was enjoyable to spend the time together. We had 25 Finds, 1 DNF, and 1 we had to leave due to a Snake!
An Easy Find
Thanks, Grumbligrot for placing this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment

We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to Grumbligrot for the generation of this nice cache Just a simple drive by (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

After an overnight camp at Bridport, we planned to grap four caches on the left hand side of the busy road back to the north west. Towing a camper whilst caching has its limitations, but hey ! Where there's a cache there's a way. Heh Heh !
No problem working out where this one was going to be, so quickly logged and returned where found. Thanks for another one today grumilgrot.

While up north we headed out finding caches and this was one we found. A nice park and grab. TFTC
#17267 - 4:01:00 PM; In Tassie for a few days on family business and stopped off for this cache as I headed back to Bridport from Launceston. A nice quick park and grab and I was soon on my way again. TFTC Grumbligrot
YAY - found this cache today. 11th find of Day 2 of our Great Tassie 2023 Caching Adventure. Cache was tucked up nicely in its hidey hole. TFHC

Day 2 of my Tasmanian Odyssey and having left the partner back in Beaconsfield I was free to cache away the day…
Having attended Grumbligrots Celebration Event in Georgetown I ventured east as far as Weldborough and Derby before finding out we had dinner reservations…
So now I’m heading back to Beaky, Beeki or Beacee for dinner… this is absolutely the last cache of the day…
It was a quick find as I pretended to admire the countryside…
Thanks Grumbligrot for all the entertainment, advice and adventure you gave me today… it was awesome…

On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.
As our road trip of Tasmania continued, we have done a majority of the East Coast and now we are heading west along the north coast. We are now heading from Bridport to Devonport and today we went raspberry/strawberry/blackberry picking at the awesome Hillwood Berry Farm. Wow that is a MASSIVE farm!
Making our way, collecting caches along the way. Nice easy one here when in the right spot, signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this Geocache Grumbligrot

By chance i found this one, i stopped to hide a GCA moveable here and realised there was a cache here so i logged on and checked if it was this one. Signed the log then headed back to work. TFTC
Up North for the weekend collecting caches along the way. A bit cooler and rainy compared to the glorious weather yesterday.
The rain is not stopping but we are persevering to at least collect a decent number of caches today. As the title says a nice easy drive by. The road was very busy though in both directions so tried to wait for breaks in the traffic to collect and replace the cache. TFTC

Looking for something to fill in time whilst not studying, it was suggested that I finally get around to logging THOSE caches long found but never logged. Some even have funny stories of being visited not only once or twice, but a few even have had a third or fourth visit before realising I've been there done that. The date is as near to the correct day the cache was found. So sorry for the generic and late log.JABs.
Found with Geo Maggie. Nearly missed it as I was looking for a small but this one is definitely a micro.
Thank you for the cache from GeoMaggie and her sidekick Bonnie. And Angus 88. I wonder what the differences between my current small I would’ve called this a micro thank you
A quick find in the rain. We're on an escaping the bathroom reno weekend, finding some caches along the way. Thanks for an excuse to stop here
A simple drive by that got us this county.....ticked all the boxes

Aquilus1 and I have been on a mission.....a mission to collect Australian states/counties. The target this time was Tasmania, with neither of us having found a cache yet in Tassie. So a loop was planned, starting/finishing in Lonny (even the plane pilot called it this!! Love that!). I was driving so my logs are a little more generic than Aquilus1's, my apologies.
Day #1 Leave Canberra at sparrows, transiting through Melbourne and collecting our car....first things first was to get the oldies along the cataract gorge, which was great as Aquilus1 had never been to Tassie before and its a great place to start. Onwards up the Tamar and then zigzagging across through Devonport, Burnie and eventually ending at Stanley.
Day #2 had us go back to Devonport for a FTF......yay! Then onto Hobart, via Queenstown! Long day through blizzards, hydro power and SO MUCH NOTHING! Beautiful nothing of course
Day #3 around Tassie.....into Huon valley, freezing to death in the water in Clarence, passed Port Arthur to see some caves and ending up in Sorrell
Day #4 was power trailing large letterboxes until we had to head back north to Lonny, via Buckland, Oatlands, Fingal and Scottsdale..... dodging wildlife after dark.....so scary!
Day #5 was a quick duck over to Flinders and back..... car rental place thought we were nuts! Then back to Canberra, safe and snug under my blanket for the -5 night.....now THATS cold!

A perfect cache really. Our county find, it's a pretty area, it's a simple drive by AND... It's on batman highway!
Trip log: Day 1 of our 5 day Tassie caching trip. With GreyHams we left Canberra very early and landing in Launceston it was a full day caching through till Stanley where we stopped for the night having found accomadation available.
Counties where our priority and with GreyHams awesome trip planning we had a list featuring some very select caches... as is always the case with our trips, if your cache made our list it had a quality we wanted, oldies, larges, counties, Jasmer loops featured high.
Snippets of history and scenic locations appeared through the day. It must be said it was damn cold at times yet some earlier walks had us down to T-shirts and the rain luckily passed through during one of the long drive stretches! The Esk river was great as was the Kimberley warm springs, so great to finally visit Tasmania, a first for me. Thanks for your cache that guided us on a full and enjoyable day!

Oh dear this one was in the middle of road works where the trucks where pulling out. Some grumpy trucks later it was a quick grab n sign. THANK YOU
With a road works sign near GZ made this one kinda tricky with muggles driving by. Thanks for the stop on a mundane drive
Hi Grumbligrot, thanks for the cache.
On my way from Newnham to HarveyDale, Westbury this morning and wanted to target a cache in the Georgetown LGA to help qualify for a challenge cache. Whilst I can't believe I haven't found one in this LGA before, it's little wonder I still need to find one in the West Coast.
So, here I am - a quick find, thanks
Cheers, EPs,

Hi Grumbligrot...on the way home so nabbed this one on the way.
Many TFTC..most appreciated...cheers ST.

I had the chance to not drive past this again and had another look, after finding a very similarly named one the other day, I now knew what I was looking for (I had assumed that it was one of the usual sized containers that you seem to find in these things). Anyway, nice to turn that smile around. TFTC GTrumbligrot.
We had to leave Georgetown without finishing all the caches there but how could we resist a drive by?
Great parking and a quick find of a cute little container .
Thanks, a very aptly named cache.

Made it harder than I should’ve by not looking properly in the first place. Eventually look properly in the first place I looked and there it was. TFTC
out and about with 1 Lil Rafa today caching in the northern part of the state, having completed most of the caches on the Midlands Highway its a straight through trip to Launceston or beyond,in a simple Guard Rail was a simple Cache, we did a simple sign and simply replaced. TFTC TNLN log simply dry.
Thanks for the cache Grumbligrot. Heading north today with RLD4963 for a weekend away at Low Head. Decided to take a few stops on the way to find some caches, and after a drive across the Batman Bridge and back, we stopped here to look for this cache. A nice quick find.
Caching in the area we found your cache along the way.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I was assuming this was hidden in the obvious spot and all I found was cobwebs, so not really sure I was looking in the right place.
Out and about on a superb sunny autumn Covid-19 day. Found myself in the general area so had a brief pitstop to break the drive and stretch me legs. A nice easy find. There was no logbook within the cache, so replaced with a temporary scrap I had on me.. thanks..!!
I must have left my caching glasses at home or I’m looking too hard, no luck finding this one this time, but will try again.
Found on my second attempt, don’t know how I missed it the first time, probably in too much of a hurry i guess . Cache is safe in its hide and in good condition.
Thanks for the cache

I was just simply driving by, and found a simple drive by. It's a small container but I managed to leave a 1948 halfpenny for the next finder. TFTC.
When this cache was published early last night, we wondered if it was a possibility for a FTF for the first day of March. As the evening drew on and there were no logs, we decided that we would head eastwards to look for the cache, timing our departure from home so that we would arrive a little after midnight. Compared with previous trips at similar times in the past, it was a good night with clear skies and no rain. We arrived at GZ right on midnight (after driving more slowly than usual so as not to get there early). Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find of a different style of cache container. The cache and contents were in good condition. To our delight, the logbook was blank. So we will claim {FTF} at 0:03. This find extends our streak to 81 consecutive months where we have been fortunate to attain at least one FTF per month. Thanks Grumbligrot for the cache.
