No luck today. Have had a good look.Posted a needs attention log tooWill have to come back when its in play again
Probably hasn't been there since the 6 of last year since that's when the dnf logs came in
Found something on 16th Dec, but not sure if this is cache or junk. Pretty sure its just trash. For owners info, this is at bottom of the steps in the undergrowth to the right.
Not attempting this until confirmation that the cache is still there. Will put on my watch list.
Staying in Goomungee for a few days. A lovely winter day so we headed out to find some caches around Highfields.

Love the variety today. Out and about in high fields today for our anniversary geocache weekend. Having a great day. Tftc and the explore
Decided today we would drive up from Warwick, and drive the new(ish) Toowoomba Second Range Road. What a feat this is (not our drive, but the new road) While on the northern sideof Toowoomba, decided that a cache or five would be in order.....
Easy to see where it belonged, but it was missing its bottom. Replaced with new container and log and returned to it's hiding spot.l Thanks CommandoAndo.
You get my fave point for today's fun

Same as last few find, the bottom of the container is missing. Picture as proof.
That was interesting. I went geocaching and cried (what’s new). I put my navigation on for a geocache on the side of the highway before Highfields due to the rainy weather and needing to fill this dot day.
Well… I have never experience fog like that before. Siri was yelling at me to do a U-Turn but I couldn’t see anything in front of me let alone across the highway.
I then pulled up to this cache owner’s cache at the dog park and thought that that it would be a good one to grab but I noted the three DNFs on it and my little heat couldn’t do it. So here I am.
Cache was easily spotted and signed in yellow highlighter . Have included a photo because I think it might rub off… inside was a bit damp. Maybe it’s just being stressed but I have never had so much difficulty with opening and closing a bison. It was like it needed some WD40 or something hahaha
Thank you CommandoAndo for placing this cache for me to enjoy!

After a weekend out west of Toowoomba, the Domsky Dewar decided to take another another day before heading back to Brisbane.
The Highfields area was explored with our team of cachers together.
This area and some of the history around here is very beautiful.
We signed this with the team, Team Grav (E_Smiley, Chamad, Triple Turmoil, Simber15, willis007 and Nayfee).
Thanks Wardy079

A plan was formed recently to camp at Oakey over the October long weekend (due to Ekka being postponed) and tackle the art and a number of fun puzzles in the vicinity. The call went out to a few others we enjoy travelling with and the solving began! Lots of back and forth between members and we finally had a full set a few days out from the trip.
The roads were wet and muddy but that isn't going to stop a group of dedicated geocachers on a mission! The rain held off which we were grateful for however chunks of mud were often shaken off shoes before returning to cars and moving on to the next one.
As is always the case when caching with others there were many laughs and a great time had by all. Always a great sense of achievement when you've been working through a project over a number of weeks.
Thankyou for placing and arranging this series for our enjoyment. The fields and flowers were in bloom. Birds a plenty enjoying the roadside water sources. The scenery was refreshing. Always enjoy a taste of the countryside.

Caching today with RoddyC and imbunda on our last day of the long weekend to pickup some more smiles.
Just need to get into the right position to spy the culprit.

Day two of my outback adventure of heading to Cunnamulla for the QOGM. This morning it is grabbing a few around the Highfields area before picking up my passenger for the next part of my journey west.
I mainly concentrated on the Highfields park trail caches, there were a few that I missed last time I was here and then there was a couple of particular interest to me now. Some good hides and all caches were in good condition. Some fun hides and some easy ones. Logs were signed on all caches and then replaced as found.
Thank you to all the CO’s for the caches found today. My notes say a very obvious hide.

The kids found this one. They're enjoying geocaching. It's fun to do as a family.
Checked out the obvious place with no luck then after reading some previous logs we moved the search closer to GZ but still took ages to find.

After sleeping in the Ute last night. A early start to our caching day. We solve the letterbox last night Selva Girls pick me up at woollies we found 30 caches and 1 Adventure Lab. The break down was 23 traditional, 5 mystery, multi, letterbox and 5 waypoints for the Adventure lab. So the finds count was 35. All caches were found all good condition.
Then I drove back to Brisbane in the afternoon. And pickup one in Brisbane.

Well that could have taken much longer... I came at the hide from one direction and failed to spot it... a slightly different angle and I managed to spy the little thing... tftc...
On our way home from soccer we stopped off to grab this one. I had tried on a previous occasion but the resident swinger was there and needed to move on. This time with all the wind that was blowing the area was clear and I was able to grab this one easily. All returned we were on our way. TFTC Wardy079
Well I think we have a resident swinger at this park.
She loves swinging for long periods of time
Anyhoo - I took far too long here until I spied the little bugger LOL
Great camo! LOL

Goombungee Day 2
Camp at the Goombungee showgrounds for a couple of days.
Todays trip was into Highfield out to Cooby Dam & return.
After 5 caches we realised we had a flat tyre so had to make a detour to have a puncture repaired.
We travelled to many new & interesting places, many dirt roads again today.
Thanks for placing this amazing series Wardy079

Sometimes these hides can take a while to spot. And a teenage girl was on the swing pumping it for all she was worth, headphones on, singing her heart out The foliage made for a quick grab

Early morning cache hunt around Toowoomba whitest the geo wife catching up on some much needed sleep.
Really impressed with the city
Definitely be back.

With the previous DNF I still needed a cache to top up today so I moved on to this one. I think after just having a DNF and noting the last DNF on this one I wasn't feeling too confident and had a little moment of cache blindness before I was redirected to the hide. All good with this one. TFTC Wardy079.
[*FTF*] With Grand Poobah at 0745am.
An early morning dash to find a cache before work.
Nice to grab a first to find as well.
Thanks for the cache.
