I have informed the reviewer of the situation at this location and will continue to monitor it
somebodies home, will activate it again after they have been moved on. sorry for the inconvenience.
On our way to the ice hockey, couldn't grab this one as it's now in someones home...-M
Found at 2:26 pm with Olga and Luna on a bike ride. Resident was not home, but you have to move their luggage to get the cache
Found at sunset so unfortunately too dark to appreciate the memorial. Plenty of bats leaving Botanic Park for the suburbs. Quick find. TFTC
Being a current serving member of the Defence Force, I'm always keen to pay my respects and make a find if appropriate. All good here and a discrete hide, getting an FP from me. We will remember them.Phew, what a scorcher as they say. The heat has been steadily building through the week and today was the first day that it hit 40 degrees for me whilst out caching, yay, another first. I had a late morning meeting I needed to be ready for but managed to find time for a quick 4A out to Semaphore area for a look-see before the catch-up. After that I headed into 'the city' for a few more, but the heat was too much so grand plans were amended downwards and modest finds ensued. Thanks to all COs for their hides etc, much appreciated.
Adelaide Leap Day trip. Day 10. All good things must come to an end and today was the last day of group caching with my Canberra friends. Before that I attended the event down towards Oakland Pk. The drive across town was at exactly the wrong time and took way longer than I expected. Even so, I joined up with Joolay, Kitty Katch, Gliss!, NibletRiceCakes, Barb2e and Isopeda and we set about targeting some of the caches that have been deemed high priority by parts of the team. We signed the caches SALI-24. The main area to visit was Mawson lakes, but we did end up going a lot further north in order to get one of the counties and D/T caches. Then there was a bit of time for lunch and caching back towards the airport. I bid the Canberrans farewell and went on to do a little bit of caching along the west side of the City before heading home for a longer evening rest than has been the case over the past few day.I saw the Labs in this park and managed to find two other caches while I was here. Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy45750.16 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Geocaching NSW 2017 A#450**Albida**
Day #12 Leaping Forward AdventuresOne last day of local adventures with OzHockeyChick, GeoTurtle37 and Papi4506. Exploring targeted caches, favourites, D/T and others. We took a stroll through this park and made a stop at the memorial. A helicopter landed on top of the hospital across the road while we searched for this cache. A relatively quick find. Thanks OZGrumpy for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? There are plenty to choose from including all of the previous nominees and winners of the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards.
Geoturtle37, OzHockeyChick, RoamingHowie and myself are out picking up some selected caches before we all have to go our separate ways. Great day to be here which is more that we can say for the passenger of the helicopter that landed nearby. We hope the passenger is ok.Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Adelaide day four: Teamed up with RoamingHowie, Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 to find some caches of interest. Found and signed as a helicopter lands at the hospital across the road. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, OZGrumpy ~~
Found whilst in Adelaide for the mega on 29 Feb, The Great Leap Forward. Easy find at a very quiet GZ. Nice memorial, TFTC!
Found it Out with Jolly0 picking off some of the new AdLab stages. Stopped by here for the other AdLab as well. It would be rude if I didnt look for this one. Found in the first place I looked. aka the coloured mint tin by the sea peopleaka Minty ManTFTC OZGrumpy
Decided to get down to Adelaide for a few days as part of the Great Leap Forward Mega event. The general target was EarthCaches, Virtuals and Adventure Labs with plenty of other finds along the way.Glad it was easy to open!TFTC!
Over from Perth for a few days to attend the Leap Day Mega. And today is the day! After an enjoyable few hours at the event itself I headed off for a drive around picking up some target caches with the aim to get a good mix of types and sizes. Kicking myself that I've previously done both the webcams on previous trips over... so a leapday find for that type will have to wait a little longer!! This was a quick find while in the area also picking up an adventure lab. TFTC
We had more time in this park than expected due to getting a puncture in Adelaide city and this being the closest most convenient place to pull aside and change it. The_Evil_Muggle changed the tyre while TanSaf and I sat in the shade and updated our caching plans. I then noticed there was this cache barely 100m from where we were. On the way back to the car we went via GZ for this and found it relatively quickly. Great location for a cache.

Caching as team SPBINZ: Sidewaze, Paddlechick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie from Nelson, New Zealand. Really enjoying finding all the caches and all the cache types we can, as well as, of course enjoying the hospitality of our South Australian colleagues and the camaraderie of like-minded friends and acquaintances at the Leap Day Mega. Found while tracking down the Ad Lab waypoints in the area. Thanks for the cache ??.
We were picking up a few labs nearby so had to get this at the same time. Nice easy find. Log signed as SPBINZ, Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie. TFTC OZGrumpy#16239
Streak Day #3885 - Out with Dave8153 and in town for the MEGA, stopped by for a quick find. TFTC
We had spent the morning at the mega and then made our way here. The first carpark that we tried was full so we had to brave the ringroad to the next one. A quick find. TFTC.
Out for a walk in Adelaide with *frilk* after attending the "MEGA" in the morning with reminiscing on places previously visited, found this one very quickly....TFTC
After the Mega we headed here. This is a magnificent park. Thank you OZGrumpy for placing and maintaining In the line of duty for us to find today.
Out caching with Surefoot24 on this special leap day. The Evil Muggle was driving us around when we got a flat tyre. Not to miss an opportunity, while he changed the tyre, Surefoot24 and I wandered over to this cache. Quick find in a lovely parkland. TFTC

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.During our 5 days in Adlade, we visited the centre and around while following the caches and labs. We resolved some mysteries before our trip. We made some great discoveries and great experiences. Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
We did what our duty demands: look for the cache, grab it, sign the log and rehide it. Unnoticed. Thanks for the fun in the sun.#4304
Just finished the adventure lab we could switch to a physical cache. ??Together with my beloved husband Destinator I enjoyed the warm evening, the relaxed grab 'n go and the nice park around. ??Thank you for placing and many greetings from Germany.#4450
Today we went Tuesday Treking with Brisal5 and SewerRat, a good day was had overall. We had three DNF's but the caches that we found were all in good condition and needed no maintenance. Included in the haul of geocachers were a couple of earthcaches that tweaked our interest. SL TFTC
There was a match on but I was tucked away enough not to look too suspicious.Favourite point addedWalking around Adelaide picking off caches here and there on the way to an evening event.OZGrumpy, I found In the line of duty today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
In Adelaide for an event, and decided to walk from the CBD to the airport and pick up some caches along the way.I love these types of caches - a clever use of a common object as a container which even if spotted by a non-cacher, would never arouse suspicion. Beautiful area too.TFTC
Bonus cache while attempting an adlab close by. TFTC OZGrumpy. All good here, just the heat... i sat for awhile as per the description, not one but two 'rollers' working hard on next weeks wicket. What a cool job.
In the area to watch some West Indies in Australian cricket, and decided to take a stroll. I was by the spot earlier for a stop on an Adventure Lab, not realising that there was a physical cash in the same spot. I had to come back because this is getting picked up, so no big deal. Nice
Just watched some West Indies cricketters having a friendly match and grabbed this cache. TFTC

21150During our great trip around the world we arrived in Australia after visiting Canada, US, and some places in the Caribean Sea and Central America as well as Fiji. Besides lots of sightseeing, we can't do without caching, of course. That's why we also passed by this place, searched for the cache, found it and successfully signed the logbook.Thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache. Only thanks to dedicated owners is this beautiful game possible.Wir danken alle Cache-Ownern fr ihren Einsatz, denn ohne die Gemeinschaft ist dieses tolle weltweite Hobby nicht zu realisieren.
This geocache was a quick find. Thanks to the geocache community and less we forget.
I found this one easily while we were in the area with geodog to do the Adventure Lab nearby. I took a seat and signed and replaced the log. Lovely spot that I never knew existed. TFTC
Today, Goldy is taking a rare trip into the CBD to take advantage of the Black Friday sales.I am also having dinner with friends at The Goody tonight. So, after I finished my shopping, I travelled on foot to the pub and found caches along the way.I ended up walking about 8km's and found 6 caches, with 1 adventure lab completed as well. Thankfully, the rain held off, so a good day all around.I had been eyeing off this cache for quite some time. Finally, today was the day to find it. I spotted something peculiar. However, some muggles are passing by. Not long after, they were gone and I was free to search. My suspicion was correct. The log was signed and I was on my way. I do love a good war memorial cache. I actually didn't know about this one, so thanks for bringing me here.Cache and contents are in good order. Thanks OZGrumpy for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3845 on the 24th of November 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!****Only 97 days to go!**
Thanks OZGrumpy for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 925 for us
Na het loggen van een virtuele cache wandelde ik terug naar het hotel maar stopte nog op deze plek. Even heb ik in het rond gekeken en kon zo de cache vinden. Mooi en netjes verstopt! Gelogd heb ik om 6u47. TFTC.(Translation later.)
In town for a few days, figured Id explore the city while caching. I really enjoy seeing memorials like these, even if I have to hide from the grounds maintenance staff while going for the grab. TFTC!
Not many options for hiding a cache, so took a step back and located something unusual in a logical hiding spot. Tftc
We have driven past this location on numerous occasions and, as we drove past, we mentioned that we must stop there at some stage and look for the cache. Today we made a conscious decision to go into the carpark and then look for the cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a well planned and placed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks OZGrumpy for the cache - it earns a favourite from us.
Took a bit to convince myself it was the actual cache. In the end it was only option once all others were eliminated. Tftc
The sun is trying to shine so I headed into the city on my bike to find a few caches.
A unique hide in a pretty special place.

Tftc ozGrumpy. Last 60 mins in town before jetting off back to Melbourne. Time to wander over in the dusk, quick find and sign and then over to Colonel Lught memorial No. 2 to try and nab the related earth cache.
I was out on the bike all afternoon searching for caches. I was just about to head home when I saw this one wasn't too far away. I made the short detour here just after dark and started looking on the wrong side of the wall. I found what looked like destroyed cache remnants but it turns out it was a coincidence. I made the find in good condition once I was in the right spot. TFTC!

Headed out with Mattycat on a Mystery Monday tour, with cooler weather we decided on some walks in the foothills but we did stop here and there along the way to pick up the odd cache or three in between our walks, with the longer walks behind us a some stiffness in our legs we elected to do some easier to do caches as we headed closer to the direction of home and this was one of them, with evening approaching we deceded on a quick look, fortunately no homeless were sleeping here this time for a straightforward find
