Keeping my geocaching trips easy with nighttime finds. Four found last night. A short nap in my geomobile before another four finds very early today. I rather spend tonight with my family. Dky za zakladatelsk poin a prci s tm spojenou, geokee ns pivedly na mnoho pknch mst.First a conference trip to Viruses of Microbes Cairns 2024 and an exploration of tropical North QLD and later a holiday of 4 days in Sydney and a week in the Blue Mountains led us to this geocache. The canyons of these mountains were deep and beautiful, and the nature was amazing. For us from Europe, every plant and animal is new and unknown. Thanks for the placing this geocache and the work associated with it. All geocaches have led us to many nice places.Greetings from Brno the Czech Republic. After a morning at Scenic World we headed out to pick up a few stray caches. A nice quick find. Signed log and we were on our way. TFTC

this was an interesting place that i wanted to see while i was in town.finally leaving after a very pleasant nine days here, i'll definitely be back. so i was told that the gully is the largest first nations place in australia.here's some more info, i'd definitely add some more info to your description, this place has history and it would be interesting for geocachers to learn about while here. there's walking trails in there too. have you explored it? is there a clearing or rock outcrop?https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalina_Parkthanks for showing me this area with youe first cache, more like where wombat or bandicoot live as opposed to owls though .

Found with a bit of difficulty. Track was hard to locate. Got there in the end. Logbook is full
I got off the trail chasing a parrot, who never did give me a nice clean view. He left so I got back to the task at hand and emerged from the brush right next to gz and at a perfect sight line to spot the hiding place. Took the trackable. TFTC
Scored a good park for easy access then proceeded to ensure I didn't use that to it's best advantage at all as per usual. I tottered back and forth as the GPS couldn't quite decide where it wanted to be happy and after a long morning hike perhaps my caching sense had gone to sleep. Eventually came to my senses and looked in obvious spots for the D/T ratings and sure enough found the cache.
No hooting owls, just the squawking of colourful rosellas led me to an easier than expected geotrail straight to GZ. Quick find during an impromptu two day caching trip to and around Katoomba.
Catching up on old logs, thanks Kitkat84 for the great cache. I really enjoyed the drive around this beautiful area. Found it about 6m NE of where my phone sent me.

Really fun to find, and easy enough for people who are new to geocaching! Not on private property and a really nice find!
We are on a cachey 10 day holiday, starting off with 2 nights at Emu Plains to hopefully collect the new GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and some more of the Band caches north of Penrith. Then it’s 5 nights at Oberon to collect some of the many new & old puzzle caches that we have solved around the area, and also hoping to complete the Oberon Adventure Lab. After leaving Oberon we will be visiting Jenolan Caves, for both the caves and the Jenolan EarthCache, then heading to Katoomba for 2 nights to ride the Scenic World attractions (Railway, Cableway, & Skyway) and to do a few caches of various types plus an Adventure Lab. We will end the holiday with a stop-off at Wentworth Falls for some more caches and a couple of Adventure Labs.
Today is the last day of our holiday, and our planned stop-off at Wentworth Falls for some more caches and a couple of Adventure Labs has had to be cancelled due to wet weather, but we will still collect some caches around Katoomba before we depart. This was our 3rd find of the day (day 10), and 176th find of the holiday.
After a brief visit to one of the larger Antique shops in town we next came to this cache, and it was a nice quick find at a very wet & misty GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Kitkat84.

This was a quick find and I like the history behind it. I wonder if you have a picture of the mission or was it poorly documented at the time TFTC I smelled the green pen inside and instantly was transported back to high school when I had one of these. Doesn’t smell like anything in particular just “fruity” lol
Went out early to avoid the heat. After I oriented myself I found the cache quickly. The Gully is a very interesting place.
