I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Lis&EmThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
No luck here after trying several options many times. Lots of previous dnf's really think this cache has gone.
Back in June, four Wellingtonians (NZ_B, Mr-Mcgoo, TwigNZ and YetiNZ) came down to visit the Nelson region. We had such a blast that we decided to do it again, and here we are!Day 2, and having spent 1 night in Takaka we are driving back down to Nelson via Kaiteriteri and Motueka and various stops along the way. By now we had had our dinner in Motueka and were now just grabbing some numbers before heading down to our accommodation in Nelson.Unfortunately for us, we could not make the find here in spite of one of us being a previous finder. Definitely in need of an owner check up.
Out for a cycle from Motueka to Kaiteriteri this afternoon. This was grabbed on the way back. Thanks for the cache.
spent 6 great weeks in New Zealand with my The start was a bit bumpy (Cyclone Gabrielle) but then it got better and better. We travelled to both islands and discovered a lot. We photographed and filmed many beautiful things, but most of it stayed in our hearts.
Almost everywhere we stopped, a cache was already waiting for us. Most of the caches are well maintained and easy to find.
With mostly very nice weather, we saw a lot of this impressive island. In many places, caches were waiting for us, which were sometimes easy and sometimes difficult to find. This cache was also included and was successfully signed
We puzzled a lot in advance and the tours were well prepared
So this box was also well found.
now I have another on my personal cache card.
many thanks to [^] **Lis&Em** [^] for the effort and the cache and greetings from Germany

Quick find for this well maintained hide, good work. Enjoying a cycle geo tour of rhis wee town, thanks Lis and Em.
No. 11,273. I am heading to Takaka today to pick up some of the last South Island geotour caches. But no geocaching road trip is worth its salt if you don't divert off the main road occasionally or stop for a few solved puzzles on the way. I parked close by and headed over to the tree. Its always nice to have a few easy ones to boost your daily find tally. Signed the logbook and put it back where found. Thanks Lis&Em for hiding it here.
I came by earlier in the day, but there was a muggle parked too closely. In the afternoon, the coast was clear (get it?), so I was able to find the cache. It was a bit exposed from the right angle, so I put a rock in front to keep muggle eyes from spotting. TFTC.
Day 17 of three weeks winter motorhoming in the upper half of the South Island. Biked along this (shared) walkway this morning, doing Motueka’s Waterfront Walkway Adventure Lab and picking up a few traditional caches as well. Then drove on to Pakawau in Golden Bay and collected a few more along the way. This one was a quick find. #4190. TFTC.
Thanks for the cache.
Out on a geocaching roadie today while my muggle partner plays some golf. Want to pick a couple of the geotour caches out this way and also fill one of the holes on my DT grid
Haven't been out this way before so enjoyed the sights on a bueatiful Tasman day

I wanted to find four caches today and Motueka was a likely target for me to get four (hopefully) nice easy finds.
I arrived at GZ and had to wait for a young couple to wander on by. The lady was carrying a thermos and having a cuppa as she was wandering along.
Once they had moved along I made a super quick find.
That is a cool wee container.
Thanks for bringing me back to this peaceful area and thank you for the smiley.
Once I was back in the car and loading up the next cache I wanted to go and find the young couple came wandering back along the path, so that was perfect timing.

Having spent a useful hour or so at a CITO event in Nelson I took the opportunity to head out to Motueka, a caching area I have neglected for too long.
I’d stopped here a few months back but sadly so did a family who took up residence the nearby bench.
No problems on a wet Sunday in June though. Quickly found and TB dropped off
Thanks Lis&Em

Cycled around motueka today with my brother, had a nice time too. Made a quick stop, circled some trees and made a quick grab to this cache. Find #681.
Around and around and around not wanting to disturb the spiderwebs but finally found it!
Found with NZDi. It is Easter and NZDi decided she wanted to go to the Mapua Easter Fair seeing she missed out last year due to Covid-19 Level 4 Lockdown. Also we purchased a caravan late last year and as Easter is traditionally the last outing of the season before caravans are closed up for winter, we didn't want to waste this opportunity even though we have another trip planned next month.
So the plan is to set up at Motueka Top 10 Holiday Park for three days going to the Fair on Sunday, then on Monday look at the weather and decide whether to spend another three days in Golden Bay or head down the Wet Coast. In the meantime there is some caching to do.
Having cheekily checked in early at the caravan park and scoffed a lunch we prepared at home before we left, we headed out this neck of the woods on our MTB. On our way here we got the info for a puzzle and two multis, but the puzzle final was some distance in the future and the multis had us confused so we figured we would work on them back at the caravan. So now we are heading south along the coastal track heading for the other end of town picking up caches along the way.
This was our fourth find of the day and was a QEF PnG. Like others have said before, it certainly is a unique container, suitable for geocaching. I wonder what its original purpose was and where you can obtain them.
