A super difficult puzzle again. A walk out through long grass past the dam eventually I spotted this dislodged on the ground. Tried to make a mark with my pen whose ink was now in my pocket!?!TFTC.
Albury TripTime for an Aussie road trip with Joolay, albida33 and FurfacesLL plus others from the Canberra puzzling team. Signed as CAI Canberra Albury Invasion). Thanks for the hide yamutha
fitzy_1965 and I headed towards Albury/Wodonga last night. We camped at the Ettamogah Pub before joining the rest of our friends in Albury today.A great day was had with us picking up lots of trads, multi's and pre-solved puzzles with the day ending in an event in the heart of Albury and a nice hotel room thanks to a Red Balloon voucher. The logs were primarily signed as CIA (Canberra Invasion Albury) unless otherwise stated.
We joined in on the Canberra Albury Invasion or CAI fun this long weekend. After lots of puzzle solving and planning the time had come for a four day weekend of geocache hunting and hiking in and around the Albury/Wodonga area. We could not have picked a better weekend, we had great weather and avenged a couple of DNF's for us. Apologies for the generic log, thank you to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches in this area, and for giving us a reason to come down the highway and visit this lovely area. Thanks for the hide and puzzle yamutha
Apologies for the generic logs but we had lots of headaches solving them and lots of fun finding them. Its a perfect weekend to get out of town. Decided Albury was the place to go. Lots of lovely puzzles that we have spent time as a group working through now its time to venture down and pick up.Signing as CIA-Canberra Invasion of Albury. Thanks for getting me out and about yamutha
33,765. Found with Team CIA23 - Canberra Invasion of Albury 2023.Our caching group has been eyeing off the Albury/Wodonga area for quite some time. After many months of hard work we had solved nearly all the area's puzzles, so we set a date and headed on down. CIA23 comprised of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, isopeda, barb2e, FurfacesLL, Tankengine, dty73, Sol de lune, LuckyL10n, albida33, Aykayem, smittengranny and myself. For part of one day we were joined by local Cacher Happy Feet 1. What a great weekend of caching with such a fun group of people. An event on the Saturday night also helped make the trip memorable. Quick find once at GZ. Signed the log as CIA23, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on our list. Thanks yamutha !! One of many of your caches we were lucky enough to find. We appreciate your contribution to Geocaching and our enjoyment.
Albury Invasion trip Day 2. After panning and months of puzzle solving it is finally time to head to Albury Wodonga for a long weekend visit. I was with Kitty Katch, FufacesLL and Joolay for this trip, but I also spent time with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n due to space in cars. Logs for the weekend were signed CIA23 to save space. Today was a day of driving all up and down and across back and forth around Albury trying to visit as many of the Puzzle locations we have solved. Some were nice walks some just roadside finds, but there was a huge variety of hides and some were very challenging, even if they were in 'traditional' locations. We did fail to find a few, but I put that down to some really good hides that just plain beat us. There were a few puzzle highlights but matching the puzzle to the hide on the day was a little difficult, so I will just thank all the hider's for their hard work and providing the opportunity to spend a fun day. There are still more caches to be found so we have another day planned for tomorrow and will probably have to come back again one day. Thanks for the cache yamutha44827.16 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 100 Finds Achievement A#64**Albida**
Day 2 of our Canberra (plus 3) Invasion of Albury. It was a beautiful sunny day as we set out in search of presolved mystery caches as well as any others we could find. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches that enticed us down here. Cache found and log signed as CIA
#18863; Day 2 of the Canberra Invasion of Albury 2023 weekend, which had been preceded by much head scratching and puzzle solving to prepare. Our merry band comprised of Sol de lune, albida33, Smittengranny, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, Barb2e and isopeda, along with yours truly, were joined by dty, tankengine, aykayem, minniek and fitzy_65 for a day of action today. Started the day to the north of town and then worked our way south, east and west as we gathered caches. Some finds were difficult as were some of the puzzles and some were easier. Some we didn't find at all! All up 103 finds, one event at the end of the day and nine DNFs for me today. Logs were again signed CIA23. Most of the caches we found were in good order. Apologies for the generic logs, but by the end of the day, like the body, the mind was slowing down as well! Thanks to all of the cache owners for helping make a great weekend for our Canberra caching fraternity. TFTC yamutha
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and CIA23 cachers on a quick Albury invasion! Thanks yamutha!
Day 2 of the Canberra invasion weekend of Albury. Being ex an Canberran, I headed up to join in the fun of the weekend with LuckyL10n, Albida33, fitzy_1965, minniek, tankengine, dty73, Joolay, KittyKatch, Smittengranny, Isopeda, Barbe2e and FFLL. Today we started to the north of Albury and headed towards the CBD, grabbing caches on both sides of the freeway as we went. Lots of pre solved puzzles, along with a number of traditionals, were found during the day. Unfortunately we had a few DNF's as well. Thanks to all the CO's for the caches...and the fun we had over the weekend. Logs were signed CIA (Canberra Invasion Albury)...
Day 2 of our Canberra trip to Albury and a few extras in our group today. Signing as CIA for Canberra Invasion of Albury. Tftc
Day 2 of our Albury Trip. For the last few weeks a group of us sat together and solved lots of puzzles for this weekend. Today, SmittenGranny, barb2e, Kittykatch, albida33, FurfacesLL, Joolay, Sol de Lune, LuckyL1On, MinnieK, Fitzy_65, Tankengine, DTY73, Aykayem and me went around Albury and found puzzles, multies, trads, ALs and a virtual etc. To save log space we are signing as CIA (aka Canberra invasion of Albury). The puzzles were all quite interesting, the hides sometimes hard. Sorry for the generic logs. Caching in the group makes logging hard. TFTC
It’s MEGA Road Trip time!! A plan is hatched and we are good to go.
DAY NINE: More Albury & Wodonga solved puzzles.
A few of the bits and pieces gave me a good head start with this puzzle. I found a good source which was very helpful. As I journeyed down the rabbithole, I wondered if I’d ever reach the end. Such a clever puzzle.
At gz, it was spidey city with webs strung across every tree. We were close, but not close enough. The grass was taller than me in places, but RoamingHowie managed to see over it and before long the cache was in hand and signed. After ~50 caches for the day, we were finally on our way back to camp for dinner and a well-earned bevvy or two.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, yamutha

Day #9 of the MEGA road trip. Still based at Ettamogah Pub for the last night. I need to grab a handful of caches in Wodonga, as this is the last LGA in my Victorian challenge to complete. Then we are continuing the yamutha puzzle fest (and catching up with the CO at some point hopefully). The plan is always to end up back at camp early afternoon to relax in the hammocks, although I’m sure you can imagine how well that plan seems to work out.
This was a journey to solve this puzzle. Initially stumped I got a breakthrough and carried on. A few steps fell into place and with a bit more work the solve eventually appeared. The find was a journey in itself. We drove as far as we could to GZ. It was then a bush bash through long grass and web infested trees with multiple spiders and creatures in each. The grass was not as bad as it looked in some places and The cache was reached without incident. Soon after the log was signed and the return journey began, mostly clear given the webs i had walked through on the way there. I’m glad I read about the snake at GZ after I had visited it. This was our last cache for the day. With 45 yamutha caches found during the yamutha fest today it’s time for a drink and a rest. Thanks again for all your puzzles!
Thanks yamutha for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

One of many caches found during the week of the 2021 Wangaratta Mega. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to our recreational activity!
I picked off a healthy chunk of solved mystery caches on my way home through Albury. I gained an appreciation for yamutha's modus operandi for both his clear puzzle designs and hiding styles.
I thoroughly enjoyed solving this interesting puzzle. Worked through the layers with little issue. The twist in the last layer had caught me up for a few minutes. A very rewarding solve!
Made the walk out to GZ in the late afternoon. The last 80m was a bit of a bash through the long grass. As I was poking around the two likely features at GZ, an adolescent fox sluggishly walked out of the end of the log. I must have woken it up. We had a stare off before it walked off into the bush.
What an interesting experience! Thanks For The Cache! A Favourite Point!

One of my favourite puzzles, I'm glad Ya Mutha shared this geocaching puzzle from his 3 guests staying at his Rephic Motel, as I thoroughly enjoyed working thru the logic which once again was layed out brilliantly on the cache page, very clever indeed !!! The cache title was more than appropriate at GZ, Mrs poolpool was on edge after walking through waist high grass, suddenly "distracted" by a big brown snake guarding the cache, oh dear, after calming down, climbing down from her high position, a short careful search ensued, a quick log, and skedaddle out of there !!! TFTC Ya Mutha, brilliant puzzle, FAV point awarded and more than a year of unlove, deserves some more...
It's been a while since I have sat down and nutted out a yamutha puzzle. After reading the cache listing and making some notes it didn't take long to find some interesting information.
Teaming up with Thewins5 we worked our way through the many layers until we hit a brick wall.. After putting the puzzle aside and tackling it again the next afternoon I looked at something a different way.. I soon had some information to move forward to the final step. One final conversion and Thewins5 had a set of coords.. missing out on the first to find by approx 2hrs (not too bad on a 4 difficulty yamutha puzzle).
Meet up with Thewins5 today make the find.. a great walk on a cooler day, happy to say no swooping magpies or snakes spotted..
Cache found, log signed and returned as found.

Found with Mrs S from the_stephenson5 after she did most of the hard work. She found the vital website, and did all the manual labour required to transfer (once we found the vital piece of information required). Hit a roadblock that meant we were behind the other team working on it but she solved that as well. Once the final info was there I just did the maths to confirm the final coordinates - had a couple of options but only one was realistic. No checker meant that it was a little bit of hope but knew there were no other solved puzzles within the vicinity so was pretty confident we were in the right spot.
Saved until today when Mrs S had a calendar hole and I had to pick a child up from nearby sleep over. Short stroll through the wet grass with the geohound in this nice patch of bush - always a pleasure to be here.log quickly found (by Mrs S as I went for the more obvious spot) and log signed - glad it was coolish as this is prime snake country.
TFTC yamutha - another done and three more still to crack

***FTF*** with Haveanez woo hoo!!
Late last night while peeling onions and finding many red herrings, I thought we'd never get to gz! We were very thorough, following every lead to dead ends. Today Mrs H uncovered something that lead to more frustration but we worked through it. I had guests arriving soon, so left the last bit of the puzzle solving with Mrs H! Guests turned up and then the call came throu..."be there in 5!". Mum wasn't overly impressed that I was leaving a house full of guests but hey... it was a FTF!!
We've had plenty of laughs along the way...including making our way to gz. I seem to always take the long way & end up on the wrong side of fences.
Can't believe we've been caching for 7 years and this is the first puzzle we've worked on together and grabbed FTF!! Pleased to report Mrs H's driving has improved remarkably overnight! I loved teaching Mini Ez about pobblebonks too.

Whoop Whoop *FTF* with Mrs Wackyweedo just on dark.
Well this one took quite a bit of time to solve, luckily it was a very quiet Saturday afternoon. We decided to start last night and came up with some great ideas, and also some really stupid ones too. Its just what happens when you're trying to solve a puzzle right?
Today after a few jobs were done Mrs H had a light bulb moment so shot a message to Mrs WW and we got to work nutting it out.
As we plugged away we knew we were close but something just wasn't quite right, but we persisted!
When Mrs WW said she had to get ready for visitors to arrive my message was something like "if I ring, I've solved it!" .... as the clock goes around, finally had some numbers I was happy with, but not without some doubt and was surprised there was no checker. I rang Mrs WW and said "Get ready I'm on my way" and the rest is history. Made our way to GZ with Mini Ez in tow and made the find after a short hunt under torch light. This puzzle hurt my eyes like chopping damn onions - i'd be interested to see what others think, but compared to your other cache recently published as a Diff 4, this one was much more of a challenge, could be worth another half a star at least.
Quite enjoyed the method and theme even though it was nasty! Good team effort from the two Mrs'!
Thanks for the puzzle and cache. Cheers.
