Came back after a few attempts last year when it had apparently been muffled. It was a bit exposed when we when we found it this time, so the geo kids and I tried to make it look a little more natural. All is good now. TFTC.
First cache in a while. A nice little reserve to explore. Cool site for a cache. TFTC
UPDATE: Cache replaced. This is the second time it has been replaced due to it going missing, so please try to hide it EXACTLY how you found it.

I had a little bit of time to grab a couple of caches before heading into town for the Community Celebration Event. Parked up next to the tennis courts where a lesson was in progress, but no attention was paid. I could spot the object in question from the car so I was able to make my way to the GZ without having to double back by being on the wrong side of the stream. Cache quickly found, signed and replaced. All good here, and TFTC

#8076. Came over to the Hutt Valley today to pick up a few caches in the area. The weather has been overcast and threatening to rain most of the day but stayed dry while we were over here. Wandered over to GZ and I picked the right access while Infoferret went around other side initially. However she made up for the blunder by finding the cache in the first place looked while i was swanning around the tree. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks littledancer11&mrtrx for the cache.
Found with GSEL whilst on a Hutt Valley cache run today. For some reason, I assumed this was on the other side of the stream. Once my error was realised, I was rewarded with a quick find of this excellent little cache. TFTC
Found this one after a second visit, the first time the cache had gone AWOL. We were visiting family close by and when that duty was done we completed this one. Thanks for (RE)Placing this cache so quickly after the first attempt.
Talla64 and I were visiting family not too far away, so made a return visit to check this one out. It had gone AWOL last time we were here. Delighted to say the cache was in it's hidey hole, and in view of the fact that my pen packed up when Talla tried to write with it, I was pleased that there was a pencil in the cache so we could make our mark. Thanks for replacing the missing cache so promptly, and thank you for placing it in this nice area.
Thanks to the CO team for replacing this so we could collect. Very wet today, and the hiding place is an inch in water. That being said careful placement and wrapping should ensure the cache is dry so if you are here collecting please bear this in mind when rehiding. TFTC

Been past here twice and had a thorough search. Found several obvious spots but no tin. On the second visit I wore gum boots so I could search from the creek.
So sad, saw what I thought was the perfect hidey-hole with a rock covering the entrance. No cache however. Thank you anyway.
I hadn't done any caching in the Upper Hutt area for a while so I headed here after work to find this first. A few muggles around in the adjacent park but I was pleased to see they did not pose a problem and I was out of their sight. A nice quick find probably meant I could have engaged stealth mode and still retrieved it. A little surprised to be second signing the log.
The only time I ever come to Pinehaven (or Upper Hutt in general for that matter) is for geocaching so it nice to be shown some nice spots like this that I would otherwise never see.
