Logs
Found with GDKJA when visiting the area. Decided to grab a few before family lunch. GDKJA had found a while ago but no luck today
From the previous logs, I have a good idea of where the cache should be but nothing there. Will place it on my watchlist.
Driving back to Christchurch I took a slight detour to Geraldine to visit the Quilt shop, my other hobby. There was a row of caches on the way so I just had to stop. This one was lying on the ground as I approached. Signed and retuned it where I thought it should be. TFTC
A nice quick find. A tractor rumbled past but apart from that a nice quiet road.

Heading out to Farlie for a family bikeride. Stopped by here on the way; nice easy find and sign. Thanks....onwards. Lunch & a ride to do!
One of 17 caches located today whilst travelling from Geraldine to Lake Ruataniwha (near Twizel). Picked up six along this stretch of road. This one was a quick find. #4797. TFTC.
a nice little group of cache for kiscardi and myself to find this afternoon so she can reach her 5000 today
Thanks BCD for the little trail of caches as I need 5 to reach 5000 today. This is number 4996
A quick find here to finish this little ride. Dusty road with lots of farm vehicles!! Log very wet & couldn’t sign so replaced with a sheet of waterproof paper. Found with Campmotherandken TFTC
A fairly quick find. We had to tip water out of the cache, and the log was quite sodden. TFTC
Quick power trail park and grab before heading home. Found with Conbat and Rangit4t3. TFTC!
2556. Took a wee bike ridewith geomutt in her wee trailer to hunt out a few caches. Mrs ToT on this one between cars. TFTC!!!
When our North Island trip was cancelled due to lockdown restrictions a new plan was hatched to head South instead. A nice quick find here and although the the piece of paper inside is dry. If you have to come to replace the other ones on this road, this could do with one aswell. Thanks for adding to our smilies today.
In Geraldine with BCD and being this was the closest unfound cache to where I was staying called for a late afternoon walk. Didn't take long to locate the cache...under the watchful eye of the CO. Replaced the container as instructed TFTC
The container is getting a bit rusted up and we had to resort to tools to get it open. Maybe time for a new one?? Happy to get the smiley today. found with LW.
Cache was a quick find but we had trouble opening it as container is rusting. Luckily Busypaws had tools to help
*Another good find going from cache to cache with woolwood9.*

The grass around this one is super tall, 4Clubs lost sight of me and thought I had fallen into a ditch!! Funny that 1066 mentioned not getting hay fever here, I was thinking exactly the same thing today. I get shocking hay fever and had forgotten to take my medication, but not once during the entire day in this area did I suffer from any hay fever! TFTC
Headed on in to the obvious spot. Logvery worn and in tatters but still ok to write on for a bit longer. TFTC # 16,481
Found after pushing through some tall grass, still no hay fever which is great!. I had to reopen the box as I still had the pencil in my hand. The paper was very delicate as it has been wet and is still damp.
Quite a dusty road and that was expected after finding all the others. Spotted quite smartly and good to grab a trad before attempting the Ad. Venture set. Another day in paradise. Enjoyed the wander.
While in Geraldine it wasnt much further to go to find another cache to fill in a gap. A peaceful spot on a sunny day. TFTC
A nice quick find thanks. A wee detour on the way home for a quick trail. Last for the trip, it has been a good weekend.
Ms_KR and I cruised around South Canterbury today, then headed home. The weather was very good despite the stormy forecast, with only a little rain, and that was while we were out walking.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

As I had nearly run out of readily available groups of caches in Christchurch I decided that a trip away to where there were plenty of targets was what I needed. So I packed up the caravan and headed down to Geraldine for a weekend of caching. After finding 15 caches yesterday I needed to find just 3 caches today to bring my daily total for the 13th September up to my target of 26 caches, as thus into a deeper shade of green on GC's statistic calendar.
Today was my day to go MTBing on some of the Geraldine trails. Well, the ride started out a little badly. First, I had to stop down the road to this cache and pump up both tyres. Second, I hadn't done sufficient pre-ride planning - I hadn't realised that there was a ford on the road. Oh, dear! Do I get my shoes and socks wet so early in the ride or do I bike 6km to get around the ford and thus avoid wet feet for the rest of the ride? [xx(] Decisions, decisions. [?] I decided to forgo the extra 6km ride and plunged into the river. A few minutes ride later I pulled up at GZ. Once the nice quick find had been completed, I gave my socks a wringing out.
The log was wet and barely writeable. TFTC BCD.

Great geocaching with moko heading north. I have found the rest previously, so it was just a quick dash down the road. I think I was writing 6/6 most of the day for some reason!! TFTC!!
First find on today's adventure into the Geraldine area. Our first wonders of the world cache. Cache all good. TFTC
Found with StreetWalkerNZ en route to Fairlie from Christchurch on a lovely late winters day.
After missing out on the previous cache looked for, good to get a smiley here. Surprised to see that we are third to find. TFTC.

Well this one has been unfound for quite a while now and there is a very good reason for that. A worldwide pandemic happened COVID-19. NZ is now in level 2 lockdown and caching is allowed again so here i am claiming [FTF] and this is my first find. Thank you Mr BCD
