Lovely quiet park on a warm day. So glad the village has retained old buildings.
#5670Mathsnuts are over from the UK visiting the inlaws. After a couple of nights at Sunrise Beach, we are now heading back to Brisbane the scenic way. As we drove through Montville, we saw lots of wonderful businesses and couldn't resist stopping to have a stroll around. Mr Maths and Mini Maths were very keen to explore the games shop, and afterwards I persuaded them to stroll through the park behind. A previous log told us where to look, and Mr Maths soon found it for us. Sadly the TB had already been picked up, but we really enjoyed this lovely spot. TFTC
What a cool hidden park! I would totally never have discovered this without geocaching guiding me, so thank you so much for showing me somewhere beautiful and hidden like this. Remarkably found in the first place I looked. How random. Thank you wallabywanderers for hiding a cache in this pretty park and showing us it too.
My geosenses must be improving. Studied logs on way here and found it in first place I checked. Thanks
Found it after slipping on a couple of rocks and hitting my head, so be careful. TFTC
Found at 1330hrs after a quick walk. Easy Grab.Dropped Wonders of the World TBTFTC SLjg
After arriving in Montville and baby Cottontail still sleeping, my folks looked after the little one and bought time while I targeted this geocache. I jogged the full lap around the lake and back to the playground car park, stopping at this geocache along the way. It was such a nice area, and I was thankful to have had a quick find with its nicely stacked SPOR. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the log is starting to get full. Thanks [WallabyWanderers](https://coord.info/PRF04VN) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, with visiting parents from Adelaide, we travelled north to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, visiting The Ginger Factory in Yandina in the morning, and Montville in the afternoon. We spent longer at The Ginger Factory with baby Cottontail enjoying Zog's Forest Adventure Trail, and then detoured through Palmwoods, where we extended our drive due to Cottontail's nap. We then took a walk along Main Street in Montville and completed [Last Chance to see...frogs](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/ee8c48ce-4774-42d9-8e9c-b122c1fee657) Adventure Lab. It was then time back down the mountain, and a homewards return.
Lovely little find in a unique spot.Went and looked in just about every store in the strip today, lots of fun and heaps of trinkets or curiosities to see. Finished a jigsaw puzzle in the game store.Quite humid on the walk but was fun to go and discover different poems and birds. Easy straight forward find. Thanks for the cache!
The phone GPS took me on the wrong side of the path, TheSkype looked in a more obvious location and came up with the goods. Tftc
Den Schatz haben wir gefunden, hatten jedoch keinen Stift dabei. Wir haben dann mit einem Lippenstift ein Herz gemaltgoogle-translate:We found the treasure, but we didn't have a pen with us. We then drew a heart with lipstick
Looked for a bit and the tried a different part and found it! Mr 7 year old pro geocacher left the pen at the pizza shop so no log but heres a pic.
A nice easy find on a cool winter morning. Had plenty of help from the mossies, so didn't loiter. TFTC.
I saw absolutely no one on the trail until, of course, I stopped near GZ and a young family walked by. I hadn’t started my hunt yet, so I just pretended to be admiring the undergrowth. Once they passed by I changed my elevation slightly and soon spotted the cache neatly tucked away. Thanks WallabyWanderers
Find 2 of 12 with 2 DNFs on a beautiful winter's day for touristing all over from Maleny/Montville, down to Mooloolaba and up to Noosa, then back.
Got absolutely battered by mozzies on this corner. Would have been in and out quickly but Mrs O had to take a phone call about our hire bikes which were waiting for us down in Mooloolaba. Glad to get away from GZ once that was done.
TFTC WallabyWanderers!

Found at 2:36pm we are on holidays from Bendigo VIC. Unfortunately it’s starting to rain. Where is the beautiful sunny QLD weather.
I little tricky since I’ve not done any for a while. Spidey senses kicked in and located it with easy.
For the second week in a row I jumped in the Geo van and headed north for a few days of caching. I spent Friday night staying near the glass house mountains and worked my way north parking at Mapleton for a few reds and lovely steak at the public house, before kicking off the day with a few traditionals
After making my way to ground zero I quickly spied the hide, which I soon extracted and made my mark on the log. The cache was quickly replaced into its hides hole and I was soon on my way.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Spending a few nights in Montville for our wedding anniversary & hubby's birthday. After a late lunch we went for a walk through town & back via this beautiful park. We had this part of the path to ourselves & after a short search had the cache in hand.

Up from Brisbane collecting some timber for the Son-in-law [^]
I wouldn't have spotted this one except for a colour change in the rock that was odd in my opinion

T-Tech and I are visiting Montville today with family and happily they allowed us to gather some caches in the area Having parked at the northern end of town we collected ALs on our walk back down Main St, then had lunch at the bakery. T-Tech and I then took a walk around Russell Family Park gathering smileys. Next was coffee with the family before our last 2 caches on the way home.
It's a pleasant wander around here, and T-Tech made the find. TFTC, WallabyWanderers.

Last day of the year, we should get out and do some caching and Montville is a great day out. Thanks for the cache.
Whilst doing the two ALs in town I came by here to add another smiley to the pile. Knew where to look even though the co-ordinates weren't co-operating and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the search WallabyWanderers!
2380 - Staying up the coast for a short break, I headed for a country drive to the wonderful township of Montville. I completed the Adventure Lab cache and noticed this one was only a short walk from the final, so I continued on to find this one. Found it in great condition in the second place looked at 11.46am. I couldn't get my pen to work, so I have taken a photo of the log sheet and container as proof of my visit. Thanks for placing this cache here WallabyWanderers.
Found this one while on a family getaway with the in-laws. Once I was on the correct side of the path it was an easy find. Previous logs helped. TFTC

Enjoyed the lab cache very much… showing us the heritage highlights of this beautiful mountain village. Also a recommendation for the Waffle On shop in town…. The best ever Authentic Dutch waffles in Australia discovered there with a few bonus caches!

Today’s Geocaching adventures was to explore the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Found while completing a nearby AL location.
You do not have to lift of the rocks on the edge of the walkway, but it is under a rock

Day 3 Beerwah. Caching with the Snakepitters.
Had a full day planned, including several AL, but the day didn't go quite as planned as the AL app. seemed to have taken time which left us quite frustrated.
Our day took us through some wonderful countryside & up to some loations with magical views over the Sunshine Coast, a ownderful scenic loop.
The hardes part of this cache was trying to find somewhere to park. It certainly is nicely manicured gardens.
Thankyou WallabyWanderers for placing this cache.

Our final day in Beerwah, today was to venture out and do the Venture labs and pick up a few other caches for the day, however it was not to be with the geocaching update affecting the the venture lad when we were halfway through our second, put a stop to that. We still managed to grab a few. Off to Kilcoy tomorrow, a day of rest, washing and then off to Somerset dam.

WOW! Another awesome caching day!
It was our (Willis007 and myself, with inclusion of geopup) usual early morning start, I had made a list of caches to collect along the way to a CITO event in Nambour. It consisted of a couple of trads, a couple of puzzles, a whereigo, a multi, an earth cache and a lab. Looking closely at the list I soon realised and seeing as we were going to the CITO and doing a locationless cache that gave us eight in a day. So then we got to discussing about making it 10 in a day. So a quick look around for a letterbox and then a virtual. Found the letterbox but the virtual will have to wait till Brisbane.
Oh what a day, with some backtracking and some unusual parking along the way we got our eight or nine on the trip, just needed to for fill that last one or two when we got back to Brisbane.
This was our third stop, wasn’t on the list but as we were passing and had time, you can’t leave a cache behind. A search around and then on the other side and we soon found said cache.
With log signed and cache replaced it was off to the next one on the list. Thanks for placing this one here.

After an early start this morning to grab some target caches before the CITO at Nambour, Chamad and myself took a nice walk around the park to make a find here.
There were a bunch of muggles on a working bee, great to see them taking good care of the gardens here, but it did make searching for the cache a little tricky.
Nonetheless, Chamad was able to make the find. Log signed, cache replaced as found, we were off to make the next find.
Thanks WallabyWanderers for the cache.
