Reperio 11:30Day 5 of our Capital GeoBash mega event trip to Canberra with Miss Vitruvius, and today it was time to head home, but not before finding plenty of caches. We decided to line up the caches around the Sutton area, which had plenty of high DT caches, and plenty of easier ones as well. This one was one of the nicer drive by caches we found today.Gratias DARKSIDEDANAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
We are visiting from Canada for the GeoBash. Today is our last day in the area and we decided to go for a country drive to pick up a few more caches. This was one. TFT We saw a echidnas walking down the side of the road here.

I made it to the outskirts of Canberra late last night and managed to get in a camping spot next to Grannysmith. This made it easy to go out this morning as we set oFf to grab a few caches around the area and in particular the LUCY series. I did not know that she has done a few already. This was an interesting series and a nice road to cache along. Some of the Challenges I know I will qualify for and some I will have to check. Thanks for the series and all logs were signed and caches returned as found. Now it was time for some of the other interesting caches along this road. It was not long before I found out there was more series' of caches and that is going to play with my head, as I hate to leave something unfinished. Hmmm means I will have to come back.another interesting little animal lol.

The date being what it is today, Pa and I decided to meet up in Bungendore for lunch . I was in the mood for some more solo caching so chose a very roundabout route to get there. This was one on the route that I found.

Different species of drop bear to the Bundy add? Another simple park and grab. Thanks, DSD.
#1850 I never imagined the legendary Drop Bear being the hide that would fill my needed hidden date calendar. But here it is. Working my way down from the nearby cutting, I cautiously made my way to this cache. With the description identifying that the drop bear has never been encountered nearby roads I felt safe enough to approach and claim the find, but kept a wary eye on any overhanging branches above. Thanks DSD for your many caches along the way that have assisted with this personal goal and for enabling me to complete it today!!
Day 46 of our southern trip. More caching around the ACT, day 4.

Found -- 10:50 am -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *DARKSIDEDAN*.
**Cache Condition:** Good and dry.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.
**The Cache**
Bag ripped open along bottom. I kind of double bagged log it inside a bag I had but its got a punch hole in it. Will probably need a new bag.
With CIH we signed the log in either our names or our initials in some switcheroo form of LP, DJJ, ToC and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found.
**The Day**
Heading down ***Shingle Hill Way*** today and into *Canberra* to collect some groceries for camp.
OCW *Little Panther* and *DustyJapserJet* on a much welcome and overdue camping trip for a few days at one of our much liked locations in *Gundaroo,* and tackling a couple of power trails and caches in *Canberra*. Totally enjoyed ourselves getting a better look at *Canberra.* Never had a need to venture the back streets but as usual, Geocaching takes us to the back streets which gives us the opportunity to see things we don't normally see. I really like *Canberra* and i've often thought I would love to live here, but now, I'm not sure I'd cope with city living, too much of a country girl.

Found this cache on a trip around our nations capital. Thank you. for hiding and maintaining this cache, *DARKSIDEDAN* .
Warmest Geocaching regards from *AppleCircus*
I went a searchin' a cache t'day,
I looked and looked for that cache t'day,
A mystery did I say,
A mystery I did not find t'day
I did not find it in the bush,
I did not find it in the tree,
By this time I was starting to ponder,
could it be over yonder?
So off I went trudging over there,
but I could not find it anywhere.

Pleasant afternoon drive with Black Bunny. What could be more pleasant than picking up a few caches?
Quick find here, cache intact.
Glad it was daylight when we found this one. I wouldn't want to risk coming across a drop bear in the dark.
Thanks, DarksideDan.

An early Sunday morning drive into the wide green, wet, windy, cold yonder to clean up a number of finds in the area. Out of the door by 7.30am, taking to the Federal Highway with a quick top up at Eagle Hawk. Popped in at the nearby TB hotel dropping off a number of TBs, some that have been sitting around for way too long.
Back out along the highway before turning off onto the old route just after the turn off to the South Coast. Continued to Lake George, taking a few minutes at the lookout to admire the water levels across the way. Seemed pretty wet out there, lets see how long that lasts. Continued onto Collector before cutting cross country to Braidwood Road, Bungendore and just on 5.5 hours after departing found myself pulling back into the drive. 28 finds with 2 DNFs (which I'm pretty sure are no longer there).
Thanks to all the COs for their placement and continued maintenance. Specific details of each find added if interesting or pertinent to the hide.
A quick find, sign and replace. TNLNSL TFTC
