Hi GeocachingCanterburyThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
I really wanted to complete the All Blacks Caches today to celebrate both my birthday and the ABs win over Argentina in the 2023 World Cup semi final but alas it was not to be.
18 July 2023 5:26 pm the closer I got to the cache, the more waterlogged snd muddy the ground got. Looked like the All Black's had been having fun scrumming. TFTC Brodiewill # 4031
We found a spot where it looked like the tin might have lived but we could not find it. Fresh clippings dumped around the area.
I had parked my snail shell in Kaiapoi on Good Friday and decided to drive and park up my cachemobile as close as I could get to this cache. Also there were a few others nearby. I had a lovely walk signing off most of them.
I wouldn't call that a flax.
Cheers for the cache, Brodiewill.

log to follow - I'm writing this to get my numbers up to date before a big caching day out tomorrow 15th April - especially as find #5,000 is in clear view I want to keep track of my numbers.
Our first look for a cache for the afternoon but no luck. Could be missing may need checking.
As on early morning numbers hunt, couldn't get GPS below 11m and no flax in site, left to try for another day.
This was the last one I found today. I found a lot of places that fit the hint, but I couldn't apply the directional part of the hint at these locations. I finally found one that fit the hint perfectly and then the cx. The cx was a bit exposed, but I hid it so it is completely obscured from casual view. TFTC.
Log is very full, no flax. The dog tried to have a play with the container while I was signing the log
Looked everywhere and looked at comments and pics etc. Nothing there unfortunately.
After failing to find this cache at the start of our walk, we found a couple of others, then returned here. We read a few logs which told us both the coordinates and the hint are inaccurate and this time didn't take too long to find the nicely camouflaged cache. Normally a cache like this would get a favourite point from us, but not when the cache owner fails to correct the wrong hint. Also for us, the cache was a few metres SSW of the coordinates at S43 30.314 E172 40.659. TFTC
Found it nice sneaky hide co ords are a little off we swapped a little something for what was in there
A day collecting some caches around the area, enjoyed the walk around and the hunt of the find, thanks for the placement.
Very clever hiding spot but clue doesn’t work as well as it has probably been moved
Found it finally! Was here a few months ago and it was definitely not there at that time. Good hiding spot!
A bit of a hunt as we couldn't see anything that resembles a traditional flax bush.
For a final search before giving up I read previous logs and extended my radius, using geosense to look for potential "clever hides" I picked up something that looked like it had been specifically placed and voila! Cache!

Wasn't sure where to put my name in the logbook but managed to put G.K in there! ??
Sent Mumbo11 to do this one.... He had issues at first...... Sneaky!!!!..... TFTC
Found on a bike ride in the red zone. Nice camo here but luckily I was up to the challenge for a quick find. TFTC!
This one took longer than it should have and we spent quite a bit of time hunting in the tussocks before resorting to reading previous logs and then we narrowed in on it quickly.
