Heute bei schnem Wetter nach etwas suchen auch diesen gefunden. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.
Well like the previous finder I hadn't expected to be travelling in this direction.I had plenty of time before the Beer O'Clock event in Emu Plains so stopped for this cache. This park has nice shady off street parking which was wonderful on such a hot afternoon. Very cute!Rainbow Lorikeets are one of my favourite birds.I even had one as a pet when I was a teenager. He was lots of fun and spoke. He had a vocabulary of about 50 words and was able to associate certain actions with what should be said. For example when you turned the light out at night he always said "Night night." If you said it back he said it again, always had to have the last word!He lived 22 years.Favourite point for my favourite.TFTC # 5773
Expected to be travelling a different road to my destination but satnav had other ideas, allowing me to grab a few quick PnG bonus smileys. Spotted and could touch the cache easily but just a little too short to open it without some assistance. Luckily I had an appropriate TOTT in the car and the muggle parked nearby moved off before I looked suss.

Nice little bird that was hard to spot until really close to it.

I love these kinds of caches. A little spark of fun in a nondescript suburban setting, hidden in plain sight. Thanks for the fun.
Came here after doing the Adventure Lab as the storm rolled in. Parked nearby and as getting wet it took longer than it should have. But eventually spotted the feathered friend
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache thomo31

Quick and easy find with sevabo on a hot summer day! What another cute cache. Favourite from me. TFTH
Cute lorikeet and found it easily. Lovely day for geocaching time. Thanks for leading us here
After doing an AL at Springwood, I decided to grab a few normal caches in the area on my way to yours at Mt Riverview. A quick find here ... I guess I'm in for a spot of bird watching this afternoon.
Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment thomo31.

We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect the latest GFA puzzle & Wherigo caches around Luddenham & Wallacia, a leftover WGA puzzle cache at Warragamba, some leftover PGA puzzle caches at Penrith, two Adventure Labs in the lower Blue Mountains, plus any other caches we happen upon during our travels.
Today (day 3) we are heading back up to Valley Heights to visit the Valley Heights Railway Museum which, being the second Sunday of the month, is open to the public for exhibit viewing and steam train rides. We will also be stopping at Blaxland, both on the way up and on the way back down, for a few target caches that we missed on yesterday's trip. This was our 4th find of the day (day 3), and 36th find of the holiday.
First stop on our way back from visiting the museum was at this cache, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. It's a cute little camo. TFTC thomo31.

Came back to log our 100th at the most frustrating DNF we have ever had… so far. TFTC! Sorry about the log, Geo kid got a bit excited when stamping.
Visiting Nana not far from here so decided to take geokids on quick walk. Glad there was none of those birds in the tree to aim at us Quick spot nice cammo TFTC
Visiting family, after 3 years of no visit, due to the spicy cough, went out with the geo daughter and fam, and located. TFTC!
#8436 (4 of 5 today)
Yet again the caching calendar's siren call rings out and I must follow.
Today I decided to head into the lower Bluies, around Mt Riverview. Went for six and found five. Of course it was the old cache in the area I came up short on.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Muggles on the other side of the park, so with the car only 5 metres from GZ I started the search.
Went around twice before I spotted it.
Took it to a table to complete signing duties, then back for the replace. Still too hot for the birds today, it seems.

Cache check. New log sheet added. Cache moved to different branch as the one it was on was dying. Still in same bush.
Gosh lots of muggles around- great deal of stealth required. Log is full. Love the hide. Tftc
This was our first cache! Very clever hiding. Obvious without being too easy. Thankyou!
Drove past and did a quick cache check. Cache is still hanging around in location.
Please use hand sanitiser.

Spent way too much time looking at these trees, Geo son and I will have to come back for another try. Just getting too dark.
So fun found it thank you. Looked around a lot definitely from a different perspective.
A quick stop to let kids play with the bonus to search for a cache
Had a quick look around with geokids before resorting to the hint which helped make it a quick find. I liked the container idea! TFTC.

Sounds like a great geocache but we failed on this one. My son and mine's first attempt at tracking one down. Ellie tried to help us via messenger but no luck. We'll be back found a feather though.
After logging this cache and a DNF we had one last look and found it!! Thank you, our first actual search for a cache, so good!
Just found for second time with girlfriend tftc even tho I was ftf. Thanks for placing this cache
Found by taller geoson after he looked at it from a different perspective. Love the bird! SL TFTC
Took us a while but my cousin saw the container and then I saw the bird, cute and well hidden, I found the cockatoo one and would like to find more, good hiding spot.
After attending the nearby Event I called into check this guy out, and soon had it in my sights but that was the easy part because a month ago I had a fall and ended up with a couple of tears in my shoulder and it is causing me a lot of problems but finally the log was in hand, signed and returned.
Everything is fine with the cache, nice and dry. Thanks thomo31 for placing.

Quick find with Deep_99 to keep the streak going. SL #4745 on streak day #3077 TFTC
And another BIRDS cache. We saw the corresponding birds as we went to the previous caches, but no such luck this time. I spent some time gazing into the trees before the cheeky little thing was found - AND a corresponding bird LOL! TFTC
Quite easy to missed it if you’re not paying attention. Easy cache in the end. TFTC.
Found today on my way to meet thomo31 for coffee and a yarn.
Lovely birds series, well done.

While coming home from my MILs place, I had a little time to grab some needed caches along the Hwy. Parked and walked to GZ with muggles nearby. They paid me no attention and I made the cool find. SL and replaced. TFTC.
Gosh, it took me a moment - it blends in very well with it's surroundings for such a colourful little guy! But how gorgeous! Tftc!
I swear I walked around and around this cache five times before it jumped out at me! Wonderful bit of camouflaging- especially for such a colourful bird.
Thanks!

My girls and I decided to find a cache for International Geocaching Day. We had spent a relaxing few hours getting manicures and pedicures, and decided that we needed a cache that involved no bushwalking at all due to needing to wear thongs while our toenails dried. So I looked on the map to see what was available in the area that matched our criteria. This one was perfect, in a park the girls often played in as children while waiting for their brother to finish an activity nearby.
We actually approached from the right side, failed to spot the cache, walked all the way around, then spotted when we were back were we started. Some days it's just like that!
Anyway, it was a cute little cache. As I type this, I can see lorikeets in my garden. Gorgeous birds.

#5478- My last cache of the day after heading back home from a morning of caching for International Geocaching Day with thomo31. After dropping her off I swung by here for an easy find. Such a cute one! Thanks- an a favourite point from me.
Because we first found the ‘Masked Lapwing’ cache, we knew what we were looking for. Sanitised hands before handling as it was found yesterday. Love the little guardian of the container TFTC.
Find number 4855.
A second find after the a close by FTF. Took us a little time to find but we eventually found the cache.
