Trying to change a DNF into a yellow smiley....I had a good search under and over the area, but still came up with nothing.....another DNF!!!Another day.............
Short walk along the path from a nearby street, checking out the house on a large parcel of land for sale for $1.7 million that we passed along the way. We had managed to come at a perfect time with the place deserted. After performing some gymnastics to access GZ, I put my hand on the cache and discovered that water had pooled on the lid and it was now running down my arm. Probably should have looked more closely before making the grab. After opening and extracting the log, I was relieved to see the container had done its job and inside was bone dry. We were surprised by the number of birds that accompanied us back along the path on our return to the car. Quite a chorus. Thanks Slow Puncture (LJCC)
A quick muggle free find here today. As DisSister pulled the cache out we had a bit of an ‘oh no’ moment as water dripped all over her hand however the lid had done its job and the logbook was safe and dry. TFTC
All quiet here this morning, able to search without muggles.

This evening after dinner, I needed to take a drive north to Burpengary for a Gumtree errand, and with minimal rain about, I took a drive within the vicinity to pick up a few geocaches. There were a few nice reserves that I walked through under torchlight, and I managed to get caught by a passing rain cloud just as I was finishing off my plan of attack, so with a few last geocaches found, I called it a night to return home.
There seemed to be a few feasible spots to park in order to access this cache, and I selected David Street, as it just won over my other ideas. A nice walk along the path and no frogs spotted which surprised me (usually bull frogs seem to be common along creeks). Once I arrived at GZ, I found the cache in a perfect spot for a cache container that was protected and out of the way. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Slow Puncture (LJCC) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

We had a nice drive around this area finding some caches and this is one we found in the first place we looked thanks to the helpful hint. Thanks Slow Puncture for another one.
Slow Puncture (LJCC) I found your cache Let's Stick Together on 14/9/2022, 4:30 pm. This is my find 4175 and find # 22 today. A quick and easy find with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Ute was finished, I had my fill of coffee, so another cache to be found, a quick look under the trolls home, stamped the log sheet, replaced and wife rang to ask how long I would be, cache is in good condition Thanks Slow Puncture
Out with 1Minniemoo for a much delayed Wednesday together.
We didn't make a plan seeing as we only confirmed at the last minute, so we headed to an adventure lab and then onto this cache and a few others in the area.
Quick find after a rather unusual conversation with a passing muggle.

It has taken wombles and co and I most of the term, scratch that, year so far to actually get a Wacky Wednesday out and about together caching. But today, Term 2 week 8, we finally did it!
A slightly more delayed morning start than anticipated due to a teenager in go-slow mode, and a lack of a proper plan, meant we didn’t actually know where we were headed once I had collected wombles. However we soon decided on some close-by caches as there was distinct possibility we would have to keep the day slightly shorter anyway.
Just as we arrived at GZ a cyclist rang his bell wanting to pass us without startling us, and said he’d be “like our hairdresser, we wouldn’t even notice he was there”. Wombles and I wondered about that considering we always know when our hairdressers are near our hair!
Cache was found only moments after our friend had passed by.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC).

Maintenance run. The perfectly good bridge that was here originally has been replaced by a brand new bridge - the overall end result being that all the schoolkids that used this path would have been inconvenienced during the construction period. Who can pick it? Anyhow, the bridge (and a new cache container and logbook) are now in place.
Cache is no longer magnetic (making a copmplete mockery of the cache title). But there you have it!

Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 9.471 E 152° 58.008

Bridge was replaced, new version rendered original location hard to reach. So cache location is now diagonally opposite to where it used to be. Note, cache is no longer magnetic, despite cache title.

The location of the container has been physically removed on a temporary basis by Council! We will track this and re-enable (and probably replace) the cache when all has been put back in the right place!
No luck here. I was getting down and dirty when I noticed a wasp was very interested in me.
So not sure if it was my quick retreat or recent work that leads to the DNF. Hopefully the first.

Since I was in the area I decided to stop by and grab this cache and go for a walk, I've never visited this area before so it was nice to come somewhere new. I parked my car at the back of the library and wandered down the path towards GZ. I spotted several muggles enjoying their freedom rather them being cooped up in doors, I some what agree, a bit of sun and exercise is good for the body, it's just a pity the rain was falling at times, but who's complaining.
I soon arrived at GZ and spotted the cache in the first place I checked.
Thanks for bringing me here today.

Took me a while to find as people walked past staring at me like what is he doing. Hahahhaa
This one wasn't what Pprime and I were expecting, but it didn't take long to find.

A long awaited day out with Whint&Badal - Nice spot and a great cache ... we were a bit confused on the hint but an easy find for us today.

A few walkers in the area so I had to be a bit more subtle (as subtle as a grown man climbing around underneath a bridge can be). A bit of nostalgia for me as the cache that was hidden here many moons ago was one of my first finds. Tftc
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(Ha Ha). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Found straight away. I used to grumble reading logs like this when I myself had the case of cache blindness, but not today. Yay! TFTC.
Back for a second go this time Miss 11 had a proper look and she found it... thanks Slow Puncture
Checked this one based on the last log. It is in exactly the place that the hint says. Ready to go.
I was having a quiet, lazy day at home today after an enormous week of commuting to the Gold Coast for work. By late afternoon I still hadn't left the house, so gatjhered up enough motivation to take the short drive to this close to home cache. Some deja vu approaching gz, as when I started caching I'm sure Trekking Trev had a cache at the same location. Thanks to the hint the container was in hand quickly and my name was in the log. Tftc and the exercise Slow Puncrure
We can both remember watching this Bryan Ferry song on Countdown with Mr W&K vividly remembering his very attractive wife appearing in the video clip. The hint proved very helpful at the GZ. TFTC

Logbook has been replaced. Cache location slightly changed at the Council had looped all the trees (and therefore all the camoflage!). Container is now UNDER a structure, north-east corner.
I needed this one for the date hidden challenge. I've planned to pick it up a few times and been thwarted each time. Yesterday, in a state of naivety, I thought I'd go grab this one after doing Hipathites and Delilah's Cache (hahahahaha!). Mad woman. Today, I nearly wasn't able to grab this one, because the kids were starving, and were transitioning from hungry to hangry before my eyes. Thankfully they saw the cache on arrival, before I did, and it was a very quick visit.
The log on this one is soaked and I didn't have one in my handbag. I did have a log in the car but was scared of the gremlins my kids might transform into if I made them walk back to the car and back to the cache again. Sorry Mrs SP.

Whenever you are headed to gym on a Friday afternoon you seriously have to question yourself. Gym or no gym? The Friday evening drinks are inevitable so the gym part is always optional.
At about 2pm I got the phone call from Mrs Woodyrothwell: “Are you still going to gym this afternoon?” In the silence that followed I could hear her pain. She was hoping I would say no and suggest we should start drinking earlier. The problem is that neither of us really wanted to go to gym but neither of us wanted to be the one responsible for not going. We were both prepared to be the ones enjoying the wine responsibly later.
We stopped talking about it and before we knew it was time to head to gym. Sh!t! No one had cancelled the gym trip or opened a bottle of wine so we had to go. Our son heard we were going and wanted to join in so we had to go. Sh!t, Sh!t, Sh!t
Before heading off to exercise like we couldn’t care we drove round the corner to grab this hide first. We scratched our names in the wet log and made our way to gym. Guess what? We didn’t exercise hard at gym by my biceps got a great work out later lifting wine to my lips.

Well we did need a stick to grab this one but that really has nothing to do with the cache title. Fourth ear worm for the day, but I like Roxy Music so that’s okay. TFTC

Last one before lunch. You gave us some nice excuses for some sunshine and short walks. Located and retrieved the cache, signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks Slow Puncture All good with this cache
Out chasing some target caches in the area today, this is one of those.
I needed this cache for a particular challenge and, as i made a special trip up for another cache I decided to make a day of grabbing a few other selected caches in the area.
I had a quick look around, an easy spy. A nice new cache, log signed and I was on my way.
Thanks for placing it here and helping me with my challenge, all good with the log.

A morning out was spent tidying up some of the new caches that have sprouted since we were released out of COVID lockdown last weekend.
Love this song, the Bryan Ferry version at least. Had a sense of dejavu here, we came here a few years ago for a cache near the bridge. I remember the kids patting a nearby horse, but now see that paddock is unoccupied.

Finally able to catch up on logging caches found earlier in the year. Today, I was out and about with IolantheK and T-tech for a terrific day of caching fun
We had no difficulty in locating this cache, and with our names added to the log book, we replaced the cache as found and continued on our way.
Thank you Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

T-Tech, Just a Trifle and I took a very long drive today, gathering a few stray caches that are on my hitlist.
We met up near this cache this morning, and took the short walk to GZ. The hint had us thinking of several different things, and eventually JaT's idea was the right one, and she made the find. TFTC, Slow Puncture.

TFTC getting the kids out of the house and managing to stay away from other people. Best social distancing activity there is. Trackable dropped.
I noticed the new cache notification around mid-afternoon, so got out of work at the first opportunity and headed home on the train. I collected the car and drove over to Burpengary expecting someone to get there first. The cache wasn't quite where I expected, but was soon spotted nearby as the sun was setting and thankfully the log was empty.
