After thinking about this for a while, I have decided to archive it. I can't find any suitable, alternate spots in the same general location and I would like to instead make a new cache in a different area. Thanks to everyone who found this cache! I enjoyed reading your logs as they came through.

I can confirm that the cache once again needs replacing, the container was found without lid and the contents have been found nearby.

16-Jul-21
Cache has been compromised found in pieces, may need to be replaced

13-Jul-21
It has been destroyed rip Sad found bits of the log book around the pond

13-Jul-21
This is a big shame to hear, I'll have to check on it and most likely move it to another spot.
If there isn't a spot nearby that is out of range of other caches, I may have to archive it altogether, which I don't want to do.

Well I went for a run today and saw this one had been reactivated not too long ago.
So I made my way to GZ and started my search. No Muggles so I was happy.
Soon saw the container hiding nearby, so reached in and grabbed it. Uhmmm soon realised that with all the recent rains, the camo paint on the container has come away and is now all over my hands. Who said geocaching was clean…?
Anyways, I soon conducted the business and headed off.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 5 TB.

Easy find. Considering we are still in lockdown this park is super busy! Good thing it’s large enough to social distance easily. Sat down here to wait for the strollers to stroll on by and quickly grabbed the cache. TFTC Oscar

I haven’t been caching since lockdown began the first time in March, but with the rules cleared that we can drive for exercise within 5k and nursing a sore leg, I started looking for unfound caches close to home with good walking tracks! Bingo - this one caught my eye. The cache and the walk were both excellent, thank you.

Headed out on a Sunday arvo to pick up a few caches in the south eastern suburbs. I normally cover this area in the course of my work but with working from home I certainly have been travelling less in recent months. This was my second find of five for the afternoon and the park was busier than I expected. It was quite wet underfoot in patches as I made my way to GZ. As I reached the target another couple (who I think could have been cachers) were just moving away. I waited a short while admiring the view and then moved in to make the find. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache OscarKelk.

Yay Found it. No pencil or pen in it. Make sure you to bring your pen with you

Phew got mud on hand ha

04-Jul-20
With light rapidly fading this afternoon I decided to brave the cold and drizzle to see if I could find a cache or two before settling in for the evening.

This was my second find, and thankfully stealth was not required as while I'd seen quite a few muggles out walking dogs in other parts of the reserve, I had the area around here all to myself - aside from what sounded like several hundred frogs nearby, which were in very fine voice. (And a good sign regarding the health of the environment here.)

The cache itself was an almost immediate find - nice to see a decent-sized container, only sorry I didn't have any swag with me to drop in. Signed the log, thanks for the cache and for bringing me to this viewing platform, OscarKelk.

We were in the area and decided to pick up a few caches. As this is a high traffic area, we decided to use the hint to make for an easier find. The cache was quickly spotted. TFTC OscarKelk.

Was out at the nearby Karkarook Park with the geofamily this afternoon and decided to swing by to pick up this cache. There was a lovely orchestra of 'ribbit' going.

Having previously worked a block away, I have spent many an afternoon doing laps of this park but never saw this viewing point before...
Remembering how flooded it can be I grabbed my gum boots from the car and was glad it was a nice quick grab without getting wet.
thanks for the cache and looking forward to finding your next one!

Stuck at home and with a slump of 79 days, I debated whether to head out and find a cache or let my ocd kick and wait until our slump was an even 100 days ( our previous slump was 50 days)
After doing a test run on a proposed new cache in the area, EB99 and I decided the dog need a walk, as did I.
A cool but pleasant day greeted us and the other hundred or so dogs & their attendant muggle owners in the park, however that did not stop us from making a quick find of a well hidden cache.
After signing the log we took Jett the Wonderdog over for a play on the equipment.
Thanks OscarKelk for placing this cache so we could come and find it.

Congratulations on your first placement- may there be heaps and heaps more

So many people were using the park this afternoon that I had to wait a while to do a search, but it was soon rewarded.
Good coordinates and a nice hide. Well done for waiting until after 50 finds to hide your first cache.
**Thanks for the fun OscarKelk**

Great hide and camouflage Smile thanks OscarKelk!

{FTF} @1300hrs

Not the warmest of days to be thinking of going out but there's nothing like a chance at a FTF to convince you otherwise. Rarely a new cache is published within such close proximity to my place, and knowing the other FTF hounds reside almost as close to be in contention, I had to be quick.

Running out the door grabbing a pen on the way out, I did stop for one second to double check that I had in fact got out of my PJ's today as homeschooling 3 kids is tough! I did have a sleep in today until late morning.

The next critical decisions needed to be made as that great big annoying Moorabbin Airport was in my way. 3 options available to me, all with their pros and cons. Should I go around using Boundary Rd, or should I go around the other way using Warrigal Rd? In the end I decided to go up the guts cutting through the streets only to be stuck at the end waiting for a break in traffic which seemed an eternity as I tried to turn onto Centre Dandy Rd. All the way I had wondered who else was on their way. Which end of the park is best to park at?

Parked my car on Centre Dandy Rd end of the huge park, I then realised it was at least another 300 metre run. My fitness is not up to par these days so it made for a very huffy and puffy run which then turned into an almost crawl in the last 50 metres.

I had the GZ in sight and luckily for me, could see no one else other than some keen walkers, some with their doggos in tow. I didn't have time to bundle Roxy into the car.
I made hard work of what should have been an easy find. Ended up a lot dirtier too than necessary. A FTF none the less. It was nice to hear the croak of frogs in the pond here.

Congratulations on your first cache placement OscarKelk and looking forward to any future ones you may be considering as it will be appreciated in the area.
