Mrs Woodyrothwell had been driving while I ate my lunch. Shes a little bit worried about parking my 4WD on narrow roads so was happy to see I could take back over. Ive noticed she is a bit scared of driving my car until there are puddles or water courses in the road then it is pedal to metal. tftc
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
The cache was sticking up out of the stump, I have covered it with some leaves. Thanks
Found with nissan65 on a caching trip to Coffs. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching.
With a long weekend in front of me and a challenge cache in Brisbane on the radar it seemed a perfect opportunity to good to miss to not head south and chase the caches i need to successfully claim the cache. After spending the night in Coffs Harbour woke early and started the hunt for local caches with a view of working my way back towards Brisbane.I found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly located. The log was removed and signed and replaced the cache safely in its hiding place.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
On the hunting trail with Liz & Bruce on 2024 New Years adventure. Quick find here. Another great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
Thanks for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area.
Driving towards the coast we stopped for this little cache today. The area out this road is beautiful and we are enjoying these caches locations. Cache found quickly and we gladly signed the log.
Cheers and happy caching!

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Headed of from Coffs towards Grafton picking some of this series, along the way. Arrived home tonight to discover a few ticks had enjoyed a free journey.[:(!]
Stopped off here where the container was found after doing a bit of fishing.
Thanks earthly65 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

We started the trail from the "Woopi" end, gathering quite a collection of smiley tokens, including this one, to add to our geo map.
Satellites today had our GZ 6 metres S.E. of where we found the cache.
Thanks to earthly65 for creating this interesting trail of caches.

Lots of quick park and grabs. Others I drove passed or we gave up looking as the compass was jumpy and the day was getting hot.
Next time we go for a drive to find the others we will start off in Woopi.
Thanks again

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

As we slowly head back home to Qld, we are checking out some of the roads less travelled with plans to return. The finds we had today were in good condition and relatively easy to find.
Thank you, earthly65, for placing this cache for the geocaching community to enjoy during their travels

Even at this time of the year the road is quiet [:o]
So no passing sticky beaks wondering what I'm looking for in the scrub

Found while staying at daughters place at Coffs on a not so beautiful day. But a good day for caching so thank for these caches eathly65
TFTC and for placing this power trail along the way. This cache has no lid. Log is very wet.
The log on this one was mushy and falling apart.
We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

Beautiful but chilly day so let's go caching. Looks like this will be a great morning out. Thanks for the caches. Have logged maintenance needed as top missing from cache and things are a little wet!
A quick park and grab but yet another sodden log! Added our own paper. TNLN TFTC
Found it, although there was no lid on the cache and was full of water, log books ruined
Found on day trying to get to the October summit
Log wet but I managed to scribe something if a name of the wet log
Lovely day outside after drizzle in the morning

This afternoon we decided on a short cachepedition along the WoopiBucca Trail.
The cache had no lid so the contents were a bit damp. There is a nice creek nearby to enjoy while undertaking this cache.
T4TC and thanks to earthly 65 for all the hard work putting together the WB Trail.

A little trip north today for some caching. With Frankie the labradoodle puppy in tow, we managed to make 29 finds today. Really enjoyed our WoopiBucca drive and we'll be back to finish the series another day. Thanks for your caches earthly65!
Today we headed up north to complete the WoopiBucca trail, our first full day caching in a few months.
We managed to make 42 finds and 0 DNF's, the trail was a little washed out in some places but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall it was a great day out.
Thanks for the cache earthly65

This was a quick drive by. Pulled up right beside the cache. Thanks for placing this for us to find.
Dropped the camper into Woolgoolga to have some work done on it, and this series was just across the highway. How could I resist?
Spent the morning on this series then a couple of AdLabs in Coff's.
The GPSr did wander a bit, but when that happened the clues were always good.
A nice range of sizes and hides to keep the trail interesting.
Finally, I start the series!
Thanks, Robmc.

When the rain cleared this afternoon we took.thw opportunity to go for a bit of a drive/explore... Found a handful of caches as we passed by, the most difficult part of which was convincing the muggle-man/driver to make multiple stops so... half a dozen was apparently his limit Thanks for the hides earthly65
After caching yesterday in coffs, we saw these ones when heading home, so after reading the descriptions and looking at the D/T, we thought, these would be a nice start to the day, before we looked at Emerald Beach Adv Labs. However this was not to be the case, either we were having a bad day, or GPS in this area is crap, we struggled through the first 5 even with up to a 17mtr gz error, so I recalibrated the GPS, but was still having mixed success, it would be spot on for one, then out by 10 on others, not the best in this type of terrain.
unfortunately it was not an enjoyable day caching, it took far too long for the amount of caches done, that we were stuffed and unable to do Emerald Beach, but it is done now, traffic was light, but a few logging trucks (thankfully empty) speeding along the roads so take care if it is logging season.

It was time to go for a forest drive with ilook4geo and this WoopiBucca series looked like a good run of caches to do. Most were easy enough to find with just a few taking a bit longer. It was an enjoyable day. All found logs had two more names added to them before being put back where they had been found. Thank you to earthly65 for placing this series of caches.
Had a fun caching day with goingplaces2 and found most of the ones we looked for, signed logs and replaced all as found. TFTC.
