I always love a bit of creativity in the bush and hence why we need to add another favourite point to the pile. Normally on a trail you dont get to see much variety so its always exciting when you do. We had done a bit of the mushroom trail and were excited at the variety of hides. tftc
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...Very clever cache. All Good .. TFTC ..
I found everything and managed to reach the log, although probably not as intended, a dark damp spot at 1539 hrs. Thanks.
Found with nissan65 on a caching trip to Coffs. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching. Fav point
On the hunting trail with Liz & Bruce on 2024 New Years adventure. Quick find here. Another great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
Thanks for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area. Fav point alloc
Staying in Coffs for a few days while making our journey home geohubby thought we should come out to this cache from Woolgoolga and work our way back.
We loved this hide and award it a worthy fave point to add to its collection.
We also loved this little patch of forest with the beautiful straight tall trees and the ferns and fronds liberally sprinkled throughout. Very pretty.
Cheers and happy caching!

Finding the tool was easy, finding the cache was harder, fortunately I found them both, but didn’t end up needing the tool as the cache was within fingertip reach of its prison, worth a favorite
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Headed of from Coffs towards Grafton picking some of this series, along the way. Arrived home tonight to discover a few ticks had enjoyed a free journey.[:(!]
Loved making this find, so give a fav.
Thanks earthly65 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!
Unfortunately this D1.5/T2.0 didn't want to show itself to us today!
Thanks for the hunt anyway earthly65.

As we slowly head back home to Qld, we are checking out some of the roads less travelled with plans to return. The finds we had today were in good condition and relatively easy to find.

Owner maintenance run on 24.8.22 ...found, sadly, that an integral part of cache had been taken...container cachers were subsequently finding was not cache but the housing of tool for log retrieval...(please see description...and hint)...will disable whilst I find new part for cache
Found while staying at daughters place at Coffs on a not so beautiful day. It did take some time wandering around with the co-ords wandering more than me. But eventually found and retrieved But a good day for caching so thank for these caches eathly65
TFTC and for placing this power trail along the way. The container we found only had one other log no sign of anything attached to a tree.
We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Found the container but it is empty. No log.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

This afternoon we decided on a short cachepedition along the WoopiBucca Trail.
This superb cache was hidden in lovely stand of trees. It may be time for a new log sheet.
T4TC and thanks to earthly 65 for all the hard work putting together the WB Trail.

T4TC and thanks to earthly 65 for all the hard work putting together the WB Trail.
Found the TOTT pretty quickly, but then took a bit to find the tree with the cache. Ahhh spotted a sneaky zip tie! After a bit of fiddling the logbook was soon in hand. Thanks for a fun cache earthly65
Today we headed up north to complete the WoopiBucca trail, our first full day caching in a few months.
We managed to make 42 finds and 0 DNF's, the trail was a little washed out in some places but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall it was a great day out.
This cache was the highlight of the day, we found the tube first and then after a bit of digging, found the tool.
Thanks for the cache earthly65, FP given

After spending so long here yesterday, we had allowed ourselves the time to come back out and see if we could find those that we couldn't find yesterday, at least as far as the widow maker. We couldn't believe how quickly we made this find. We had found half of it yesterday but not all that was needed. Found it all today and so signed the log.
We were very lucky to see the deer in the attached picture. Just managed to catch it on the phone before it disappeared.
Thank you for the cache.

This is another that we didn't manage to find although we did look for this one for quite some time. Didn't help that it was getting dark.
Dropped the camper into Woolgoolga to have some work done on it, and this series was just across the highway. How could I resist?
Spent the morning on this series then a couple of AdLabs in Coff's.
The GPSr did wander a bit, but when that happened the clues were always good.
A nice range of sizes and hides to keep the trail interesting.
This was a different cache! I found the tool quickly but then looked around for GZ.
Looking at the tool, I knew what I needed to do.
Thanks, Robmc.

After caching yesterday in coffs, we saw these ones when heading home, so after reading the descriptions and looking at the D/T, we thought, these would be a nice start to the day, before we looked at Emerald Beach Adv Labs. However this was not to be the case, either we were having a bad day, or GPS in this area is crap, we struggled through the first 5 even with up to a 17mtr gz error, so I recalibrated the GPS, but was still having mixed success, it would be spot on for one, then out by 10 on others, not the best in this type of terrain.
unfortunately it was not an enjoyable day caching, it took far too long for the amount of caches done, that we were stuffed and unable to do Emerald Beach, but it is done now, traffic was light, but a few logging trucks (thankfully empty) speeding along the roads so take care if it is logging season.

It was time to go for a forest drive with ilook4geo and this WoopiBucca series looked like a good run of caches to do. Most were easy enough to find with just a few taking a bit longer. It was an enjoyable day. All found logs had two more names added to them before being put back where they had been found.
Love finding a cache where something extra has to be done to retrieve the log. Fav point for the activity.
Thank you to earthly65 for placing this series of caches.

Found at 11:56 AM GAFF3 - although it is not right to have to look at the hint to work out what to do. That information should be in the description.
Found the key straight away, but then it took about 4 minutes to wander around until the tube was located and then it looked like I needed water with that covering over the top which we didn't have enough - but thankfully I realised what the key was supposed to do and then I thought I was being smart by using the "key" with the concave side around the tube, but it turned out to be the wrong way [B)]
Thanks earthly65 - a nice one.

Found the tool before the cache. Much better then the usual mint tin cache. Tftc.
This long weekend we’re dog sitting at a property on Woolgoolga Creek Road so what better excuse to go and grab a few geocaches.
I started this trail a while ago bike riding, today we did some more.
This was a very good idea well executed.
Gave it a favourite.

Egads, we've had too long a geocaching holiday. No joy for us Found part 1 though [B)]
Another nemesis from last visit 5 weeks ago, this time I was out there a couple of hours earlier with the benefit of much better light, and also by now a bit of a geotrail to help guide me. Found the tool easily then shortly after the cache. A nice variation of these, thanks earthly65.
Easier than expected as it’s much bigger than expected. Gave us a good laugh getting it out with the tool. Love it. Tftc
Loved this cache! Our favourite by far. Took a little while but it was worth it!
Out geocaching with Leahry101. This one took us a bit longer to find the second part. We eventually did and had fun retrieving it.

Nice quick find while caching with friends along this pretty country road, some views were exceptional when glimpsed through the tree line. TFTC - revisiting this one to give it a fav point from me.
Our group DRJ (DiamonJs, Richond Lad and joojoo57) had these caches west of Woolgoolga on our list today. Completed the new series as well as some other cachers close by. Thanks to the COs for your time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment to find. It is very much appreciated.
Out and about caching today caching near Woolgoolga and area west doing a trail of caches and other caches along country roads. To the CO's thank you for placing these caches for them to be found (sorry about the generic log ). Most were easy to find, however there were a couple that needed more time to locate. Log signed as DRJ which represents us 3 cachers - DiamonJs, Richmond Lad and joojoo57. Thoroughly enjoyed. TFTC
Hitting this trail today with a couple of hours in hand. Ready to go with this awesome drive. These caches were great. Loved the drive. Thank you.
We met up with the DiMorgan team at 8.30 in Woopi for the WoopiBucca Trail which was recently published. Grub Fred was also there to meet us and presented us with wonderful personalised badges to wear at event caches, Beautiful work from the Grub Fred team.
Mrs & Mrs Grub accompanied us for the first three caches to make sure that he had signed the logs and then DiMorgan team and ourselves got into the thick of it all. The trails through here were first class and would be easily handled by a normal car.
Nearly all the geocaches were in great condition and had excellent coords. We finished the trail by 11.00 and headed off to find a few old ones that had eluded us last time we were up here. Our bellies were sending messages about lunch time so Coongoola Pat and Di headed to the world famous fish & chip shop to ease the hunger pains. The fish & chip shop in the main street has sweet potato scallops which are mouth wateringly good. We ate lunch by the beach where we also found another cache about Shipwrecks, Bonus !
A great day in the backlands of Whoopi, thank you so much earthly65 for placing and maintaining this trail for our enoyment.

The government has now allowed for us to move around NSW. We hooked up the caravan & headed north, our 1st stop being Coffs Harbour camping at the Rugby Club.
Today we met up with Coongoola to do the WoopiBucca trail, this was a great drive along some country roads, passing many magnificant trees along the way.
Amazing amount of work done to place this series, lots of very good hints provided making for mostly quick finds.
A hide different to the rest. A FP given

Find No: 8108. Visiting from Newcastle (finally allowed to travel) staying at Safety Beach, suddenly noticed a bunch of new caches so we took off in a hurry and got the lot, thanks for the cache earthly65!!
Found the tool which turned out to be a surprisingly perfect shape for the job. Finding the cache took a bit longer but it must have been a massive case of cache blindness to not see it. As MrG said.. this was probably the best working cache using this technique we've found... and MrG can be a bit tight on praise for cache performance ... so a fav from us. TFTC earthly65

We were not disappointed. Alovely trail and a credit to Earthly65. And yes you guessed it cut and paste logs.

Found in the company of ozglory. With restrictions being eased this little trail was just the thing for a much needed caching fix. Beautiful winter's day. The copy and paste logs do not detract in any way from our enjoyment and appreciation of the trail. We arrived at GZ, found the container and then thought "Now what" Read the description and found there was more to do. Spotted the next stage at the right angle and set to work and soon had cache in hand. FP awarded for the one.
had a free day today and found this trail had been placed so close to my parents house, been a while since I’d been geocaching so came out here to attempt it. Found 26/29 so not too bad, unfortunately missed a couple along the way. A great trail out here, all caches well hidden and well out together and a few different ones to keep it interesting. Thanks for these caches and the work that has gone into them.
Nice work will get a favorite point from me. Nikki found the required parts and i retreated the log. Took Nothing Left nothing sl
Nice one ! Even better than a geotrail is one with interesting caches one it. Geo dog was patiently waiting in the car while we went bush. Tftc

Back up at Woopi to visit my parents in the retirement village and this time being a more relaxed visit I had time to do some caches. . Though I late start meant I only got a chance to hit the first 9 today, might have some more time later this visit. A nice little trail along here all waiting the FTF but came up empty handed here though the GPS wanted me perhaps further in than I thought necessary and couldn't spot any likely stumps for further bushbashing, thanks earthly65. Might get a chance to revisit this trip or next.
