Even when we are just doing drive-bys close to home I always plug in the car fridge. Its just an Aldi fridge but it doesnt miss a beat. I always fill it with water and soft drinks and comes in handy if we find some cheese out on our travels. I thinks it was that time of day when I needed a bit of sugar to pep me up so it always come in handy. tftc
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...Container and bag full of water, but log is OK... TFTC ..
Found with nissan65 on a caching trip to Coffs. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching.
With a long weekend in front of me and a challenge cache in Brisbane on the radar it seemed a perfect opportunity to good to miss to not head south and chase the caches i need to successfully claim the cache. After spending the night in Coffs Harbour woke early and started the hunt for local caches with a view of working my way back towards Brisbane.I found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly located. The log was removed and signed and replaced the cache safely in its hiding place.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Thanks for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area.
On the hunting trail with Liz & Bruce on 2024 New Years adventure. Quick find here. Another great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
Well I don’t mind admitting we struggled at this one. On our gps map it shows this to be on the Grafton side of the road where there are many stumps close to the road and a little further off as well. We double searched them all as generally the co-ords shifted a little up and down the road making us think it was among those stumps somewhere. When we finally found the cache the co-ords that worked for us were around 17 metres away on the opposite side of the road from where the map wanted us. If you have the same problem as us then try S30°07.376 and E153°07.340 and if your gps is somehow related to ours today that might help.
Once the cache was found we breathed a huge sigh of relief and signed the log.
Cheers and happy caching.

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Headed of from Coffs towards Grafton picking some of this series, along the way. Arrived home tonight to discover a few ticks had enjoyed a free journey.[:(!]
Stopped off here where I search far and wide, eventually make the find almost 20m from where my GPS was pointing.
Thanks earthly65 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!
The nearest stump to the road on the left hand side was 16 metres from GZ which was on the RHS of the road.
Thanks for the hunt anyway earthly65.

Lots of quick park and grabs. Others I drove passed or we gave up looking as the compass was jumpy and the day was getting hot.

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

Found while staying at daughters place at Coffs on a not so beautiful day. But a good day for caching so thank for these caches eathly65
Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and increased our experience in this location it is what helps make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Unfortunately after a good look around we didn’t find the cache this time.
We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

Had a bit of of a look on both sides of the road but was a bit superficial in my searching and moved on.
Found on a day trying to get to the summit. After reaching the summit, I continued up the road as it had recently been graded and being in a low 2wd car I though I would complete the trail

A little trip north today for some caching. With Frankie the labradoodle puppy in tow, we managed to make 29 finds today. Really enjoyed our WoopiBucca drive and we'll be back to finish the series another day. Thanks for your caches earthly65!
We had a phone call from pprass about the event being held at Whoopi, so after some discussion we decided to travel up together.
At the same time some of the much awaited mushroom trails were published so they gave added insentive to head north. This also gave us an opportunity to give our new car its first run.
This cache had been replaced since we did the rest of the WoopiBucca trail, a good opportunity to stop & find it.
Thankyou earthly65 for placing this cache.

Today we headed up north to complete the WoopiBucca trail, our first full day caching in a few months.
We managed to make 42 finds and 0 DNF's, the trail was a little washed out in some places but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall it was a great day out.
Thanks for the cache earthly65

Had it not been for the clue, we may not have found this one. Both of our machines were out by quite a long way. Thanks for the cache.
Dropped the camper into Woolgoolga to have some work done on it, and this series was just across the highway. How could I resist?
Spent the morning on this series then a couple of AdLabs in Coff's.
The GPSr did wander a bit, but when that happened the clues were always good.
A nice range of sizes and hides to keep the trail interesting.
Thanks, Robmc.

After caching yesterday in coffs, we saw these ones when heading home, so after reading the descriptions and looking at the D/T, we thought, these would be a nice start to the day, before we looked at Emerald Beach Adv Labs. However this was not to be the case, either we were having a bad day, or GPS in this area is crap, we struggled through the first 5 even with up to a 17mtr gz error, so I recalibrated the GPS, but was still having mixed success, it would be spot on for one, then out by 10 on others, not the best in this type of terrain.
unfortunately it was not an enjoyable day caching, it took far too long for the amount of caches done, that we were stuffed and unable to do Emerald Beach, but it is done now, traffic was light, but a few logging trucks (thankfully empty) speeding along the roads so take care if it is logging season.

It was time to go for a forest drive with ilook4geo and this WoopiBucca series looked like a good run of caches to do. Most were easy enough to find with just a few taking a bit longer. It was an enjoyable day. All found logs had two more names added to them before being put back where they had been found. Thank you to earthly65 for placing this series of caches.
Had a fun caching day with goingplaces2 and found most of the ones we looked for, signed logs and replaced all as found. TFTC.
Found 22/11/2020 with JessYoung96.

Found at 11:18 AM GAFF3 - at a distance of 21 metres!
This one took a bit longer to locate as we went from one side of the road to the other and eventually really broadened our search area!
Thanks earthly65.
Feedback: See corrected co-ords for where we found the cache.

Out geocaching today with Magpie Cottage and Wandering Me. Another great find. Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment earthly65
Next one on this stretch of the trail, all relatively easy this section. Nice to get all these nice easy drive bys in a spare couple of hours between retirement home visits. Thanks earthly65.
Enjoying a good day out geocaching with Leahry101. This one took longer than it should have. Follow GPS is a tip, righto.

Our group DRJ (DiamonJs, Richond Lad and joojoo57) had these caches west of Woolgoolga on our list today. Completed the new series as well as some other cachers close by. Thanks to the COs for your time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment to find. It is very much appreciated.
Out and about caching today caching near Woolgoolga and area west doing a trail of caches and other caches along country roads. To the CO's thank you for placing these caches for them to be found (sorry about the generic log ). Most were easy to find, however there were a couple that needed more time to locate. Log signed as DRJ which represents us 3 cachers - DiamonJs, Richmond Lad and joojoo57. Thoroughly enjoyed. TFTC
Hitting this trail today with a couple of hours in hand. Ready to go with this awesome drive. These caches were great. Loved the drive. Thank you.
Found a little while ago while finishing off some others in this trail. It feels like every time I head out to complete it there are more published. Lots of fun and a good excuse to drive along the dirt again. Tftc
