Flying into Palmerston North airport today making my way to levin to conducting training for ou customers night shift. Flew in early so I could cache on the way through to evin before staring the training late afternoon.
This was the first find close to the airport and was easy to find. Log paper was very wet but was able to sign it.

Rode out today to check All is OK here and the building is quite a way away so no problem there at the present . it is doubled containered so the inside container does usually stay dry.
On the way out of town now and heading for home, but first, a couple more. Last time I tried for this one the council were working on the pathway at GZ so I flagged it. All quiet here today and soon had the cache in hand. A little damp but no worries and signed and replaced a la skindo.
After a whistle-stop trip to Hawkes Bay on Saturday for a couple of Geotour placements, followed by a day in the garden with chores to be completed and some lawn enhancements begun, which may yet turn out to be bigger than the chariot driving Benjamin Hurr. I was determined to attend an Anzac Day service too, and picked Colyton as being a viable destination, and my attendance in the improving weather was both moving and solemn.
Followed this observance with a trip to a call the troops event in Palmy and after that I picked off a few random caches, as well as completing stages on three previously started Ad Labs, and beginning and ending a fourth one. So just the one left in Palmy, for now. Thanks to all COs fore their hides today, the weather was awesome and a good day to be out and about.

Yes that's a walkway I haven't found before. Log is very wet. Thanks for the cache.
took the chains out of the container bc it covered everything in rust, it’s also wet
Cool spot! I was miles off for awhile .
Took me a while to figure out the hint. Good hint, had me thinking!

I made a day trip up to Palmerston today to gain some altitude in the November stage of the "Reach the Peak" challenge. I've decided that with the current Level structure we are in to complete each climb as early in the month as possible. No worries here made the find, made the find and scurried back to the car as another shower blew through. TFTC
Nice quick find here with a view towards one of my places of work lol. TFTC!!!
A nicely presented cache, in a wee strip of public land next to a significant development. Was with Crystal Fairy as we headed up to Palmerston North for a weekends caching. TFTC
Due to the postponement of the Auckland Mega, Buttels and the Crystal half decided to use the dates planned for the event to do some caching between Wellington and Palmy. Quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache
checked it out while out on a bike ride and yes it is still there as i left it last week with the new dry cache and log. The outer layer is wet and muddy but the inner doubled containered cache is all safe and sound !
18 September 2021 12:23 outer damp but log all good. Didn't spot any planes departing today, but we didn't linger. TFTC, number 10095 for me.
We squelched our way across the bog to this one. The bag and outer container were very wet, but the inner container was dry. No planes while we were here! TFTC haydn.seek.
doubled containered but still water has got in. i have replaced the cache with another doubled container but if that doesn't stay dry i will have to hang a bison or similar. Unfortunately the empty flat section that enabled good views has now a bank put on it .
used hand sanitizer and wipes .

(Count #) Day trip to Ashhurst and environs. A successful day caching. A quick find after a short walk. Thanks for bringing me here.
#12,331. A short walk in Milson, Palmerston North. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition. Although the log book was rather damp, the waterproof paper was doing its job well. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

A quick park n grab here today, with no-one around to disturb me.
Absolutely no issues to report with the container or log, which was replaced as found after signing.
Thank for the cache.

Thank for the cache.
I had a particular reason for coming here as I have in my inventory a TB which wants to be near airports and planes.
Unfortunately though there had been some aircraft activity while I was doing other caches in the area there was nothing happening while I was here.
My GPS was pointing to something which conformed to the hint, but nothing there so I tried an alternative a short distance away and sure enough there was something suspicious about it and the cache was located.

Parked on the roadside and walked to GZ where a likely hide was soon spotted. Quick search and cache was in hand. SL and left as found.
A few small planes wandering around the sky today!

Couldn't get poor hammer thru the gravel so abounded at the top of the walkway... As I dashed to find the cache... One of the lovely neighbours came to check the abandoned man in the chair didn't need assistance... Great spot easy find... When you think right... Lol tftc
Nice short walkway that I never knew existed. Great plane spotting possie.
Poured the water out but easily signed the very wet log.

Heading down to Palmerston North for the weekend to see our daughter performing in a circus show- Ithaca. Parked up and got on my bike to collect some nearby caches. Sadly no planes today but a nice find. Thanks
Arrived to find the cache at the most likely spot, in good condition. No planes spotted while there. Tftc haydn.seek.
In town for some business shopping. Thought I'd do a few caches while here. Quick easy find. Muggy day. Tftc.
I was in Palmy running errands and naturally decided to grab a few caches while I was out.
After being early around the corner I checked if there was a cache near by and this one was.
At GZ it was an easy find at the prominent spot.

A quick easy find with hayleyhnz, hannahhnz and hollyhnz. Despite having only just read her father's log saying the cache had water in it, Holly opened it to a cascade of water, although the log remains dry. No planes spotted today. TFTC
A quick and easy find. The cache was in a puddle and the outer container had water in it. But the inner container was dry inside and the log was fine.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Nice to be able to stretch the legs a bit and find this cache. Have completed many similar caches so quickly found. Cache all dry, signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Work is sending me to Christchurch for a couple of days.
Even though it's a stupid o'clock flight, it'll be my first time to the mainland since I started geocaching. There's no way I'm turning down an all-expenses-paid trip to improve my PGC stats!
(Finding a cache on both islands on the same day)
I booked the taxi for zero-dark-thirty and somehow managed to get out of bed on the first sounding of my alarm (although an elbow from EtherLady may have sided this...)
I had my bag checked in at the airport an hour before takeoff, and so now the mission can begin.
I decided to avoid the shortcut across the wet field, knowing full well that my aging dress shoes would not keep out the water or keep in the smell (kick it in the guts, Trev!)
On approach to the path, it was apparent that this field is a 'popular' place of congregation for former pet rabbits. I saw a couple lazily hopping about, but none of them were bothered by my presence like a wild rabbit would be.
Once at GZ, it was an easy find in a very familiar location.
Double-containered waterproof paper is definitely my preferred container style!
Thanks for the hide so close to the airport to help those going overseas

Very snuggly placed but quick to locate when you understand the hint given.
This has been a poor caching year for me and this is now my second cache for the day so I run the risk of getting over excited. Just as well there were no planes in the sky while I was there.

Despite the wintery overcast day I decided to take a walk in this neighborhood and find this cache.
Spotted 2 planes and there was a cute ladybug extraction device in the cache container

(FTF). Our first find since lockdown and a ftf! Thanks for placing this and getting us back caching!
So great to be out geocaching again now we are finally in Covid Alert Level 2. And on these beautiful gently warm, calm, fine autumn days a picnic lunch is the ideal accompaniment to the caching - very relaxing and pleasant. We ranged between Tangimoana, Feilding and Palmerston North taking advantage of some FTF opportunities as the publishing of new caches gets underway again, and doing a little of our own maintenance too.
As we returned home this new cache was just a short detour for us. It was a very quick and straightforward find. We appreciated the little string to help extract the log. While we were signing the log we did spot a plane coming in to land too. TFTC

I was out on the back roads between Palmy and Himatangi delivering dozens of parcels and mail when all these new geocaches were published, including my two. No chance of getting to them any time soon. Sure enough it was five hours later on my way home after finally finishing work two hours late! that I was able to call by and grab this cache. TTF.
Just missed a plane taking off. Provincial travel being reinstated as of today's lowering to Covid-19 Level 2.
Straight forward find. TFTC, and welcome back to geocaching.
Off to try and get a haircut after three months. **P.S. Succeeded! despite 8-week waiting list!**
