We can only wonder at why the features were placed here, but they did make for an interesting find.A day out in the suburbs and surrounds of Armidale as we searched for caches, and completed the two Ad Labs. Met a few lovely people on the way on a cool day but with only light winds. The caching was at times time consuming but we enjoyed the variety of walking we did in between sections in the car.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Roarts.**SKI Pair****
Thanks This was so FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN
This cache has not been enabled and you haven't got the container yet? You said you were getting a new container a few months ago. If your not going to place it, why don't you just archive it?
When will this cache be enabled? It's been a while since you said you were getting a new container.
Need to get a new container for this one. Order has been placed, so it will be back in action soon!
Not sure how accurate the GPS is. But found the Henge, couldnt find the cache. Even with help. Keen to come back and try and find it again another day.
Had some time to kill while visiting family nearby so took the walk up the hill for a different view of Armidale. Always used to lose my bearings here, but this trip the layout is finally starting to click. This lookout area helps! Quick find. TFTC
We came last year and couldn't find it but today had a look at the activity on it and found it
What a great spot to place a cache, wouldnt know it existed if you hadnt brought us here. Great views from GZ. TNLNSL TFTC
Visiting the area from England to see family and we came to Armidale with Dazlington. A quick stop at the bakery to buy pies for lunch before heading to the lookout. We enjoyed our pies before having a wander to search the area. The GPS took us straight to the spot and a very quick search ended in success. TFTC.
Cache has been replaced. There has been some work done here by council, which may have resulted in the original cache disappearing
Staying in Armidale to cache for a few days.
Sat at the lookout for almost 30 minutes waiting for the heavy rain to pass, short walk to gz and quick find had.
Thanks for the cache

Pedaled through on the geocycle. Quite a few muggles enjoying the last bit of daylight.
Curious spot.

Went to lookout and thought we could find any nearby caches. Interesting location and easy find. TFTC
Was wondering about the name until I found the area. It explained everything. Thanks for this one
Staying in Armidale while working on the Solar farm nearby. May as well go for a walk and find some caches! Tftc
Gotcha !!! Came down to Armidale from our daughters property near Glen Innes for a days caching. TFTC
Instead of heading mega north to Townsville for Easter, Seffnjarah and I planned a long weekend road trip south to Armidale and surrounds doing some bushwalks whilst targeting puzzles, EC's, unloved caches, high favourite points and some higher elevation caches.
After a full day caching in the region, we returned to Armidale late afternoon, with the plan to clean up some local caches in town, grab a snitty at the RSL, perhaps a few more late night caches and then hit the swag.
A quick check at the entry road as to what time the gate closes (yes, I have been locked in before) and we parked up. Short walk up hill in the last glow of the day. Nice quick find, then a few moments to enjoy the last light of day
Many thanks Roarts

Crookedpete and I were given leave passes from our respective families for the Easter long weekend for a geocaching road trip. I suspect that this was our families' Easter present to themselves to have a weekend alone without our company .
As members of The Bromance geocaching collective, we are a rather contrarian bunch, so while the main geocaching action was apparently up north over Easter we decided to instead head south from Brisbane. Our main focus was on caches with lots of favourites, good DT combinations, high elevation or sitting sad and neglected with no visitors for an extended period.
After heading out to Invergowrie and looping west down to Bendemeer and then up to Uralla this morning, we headed back into Armidale late this afternoon to work on our to-do list in town.
It was pretty well dark by the time we arrived at this cache so we had to crack out the head torches to assist with the search. We managed to zero in quite quickly with good coordinates and were signing our names in the log in no time. TFTC

After a brief visit to the battle of Culloden, and another to WW2, I finally managed to find the hide back in Armidale in winter 2021.
Some powerful magic is hidden in these stones.
