Had a good search around for this one with a number of others. Unfortunately had to walk away empty handed here tonight. Maybe next time, thanks Dwarf Exploder

Had this one solved since before I left Canberra last year but never managed to make the find. In town for a couple of days and headed out for a few finds, however this one eluded me. Looked in the general area for while, but couldn't come up the find. With it not being found for over 12 months, I fear it could be gone...or I simply couldn't find it. Will watch and see how it goes.

Thanks DW...hope all is going well....

A most interesting puzzle, more interesting once I actually knew what to do. Eventually things looked promising and a set of numbers lay before me. Out tonight with The Matetrix after training, parked not to far away from GZ. As we arrived, a darkened car departed, nothing suspect at all.

Headed over towards the hopeful spot, but after a good search, only found what what later confirmed as cache camouflage. Expanded the search a little further to similar spots but nothing other than blackberry bush to be found. Assumed the cache has been muggles again and headed off home.

Touched base with the CO and advised of the evening’s activities. Permission to log the find given, CO intervention required. TNLN TFTC

With some help from a previous finder (who in turn received some very welcome pointers from the CO) this tricky puzzle was eventually solved during lockdown, however as the physical cache was missing for a while that delayed my search. Out in the area today and remembered it had been replaced, so popped by for a quick find at GZ. Cache and log are in good condition.

Thanks, Dwarf Exploder.

Loved the work put into the fun, adventurous, creative and crazy video. Certainly had me entertained, frustrated and occupied for quite a while. Great to see the cache back up and running. Worth a favourite point for the cleverness in the video. TFTC Dwarf Exploder.

Out on this side of town visiting the muggle brother that we haven't seen since before lock down and decided to go pick up a few caches as well.

Solved this one many moons ago but haven't been over here for a long time. So finally decided to go to GZ to pick up the final today. Alas the cache is MIA. Messaged the Co with the news that a bit of maintenance may be required and confirmed we were indeed in the right spot.
So logging now with CO’s permission.

Thanks for the great puzzle Dwarf Exploder, gets a favourite point from us.

Oh I watched this video many times when this was published and did soon found a way in, then a few more time with DIno and the rest of the family to solve it. What a great video and effort for a puzzel. Awesome work! Really apprichiated your cool caches, this one is certainly awesome a big FAVpoint for it.

Spending the workday out in the area it was time to collect some caches on the way home while out here. Nice and empty on the roads at this our of last light.

Thank you Dwarf Exploder for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

I had solved this puzzle a long time ago and have only now made my way here to find it.

When I first saw this puzzle it was right up my alley. I quickly worked out the south, but the east I got most of the way, but the last bit alluded me. Finally after a hint from the CO I was able to pry out the coords.

At GZ today the cache was quickly found and the log signed.

I loved this puzzle, awesome work setting it up!! Tftc Dwarf Exploder!!!

Cache 6799 on 22 Nov 2020.

Out on a early morning jaunt with Bobl27 to collect a few caches to top up my numbers for the day. All caches found easily and in line with hints unless otherwise indicated. Even this early, it was warm and the flies were out in force.

This was a fun solve. I discovered tools on the internet I did not know existed! Solved very soon after publication, but sadly only picked up today. We were confused by the plain container - very unusual for the CO - but reassured when we opened it!

Thanks Dwarf Exploder for the cache and the fun! Fav point comin at ya!

#6441 2nd for today

mtrax called to let me know he had the day off, but without a car. What else to do but go caching ! We loosely plotted a few caches to target down in Tuggers. It was a lovely warm spring day and we had a few excursions including a nearby first to find chase nearby. A bit breezy at times but otherwise very pleasant conditions.

I remmember the buzz when this puzzle came out. We all watched the video, not quite knowing what to expect, but totally missing what we needed. It took a combined effort to work it out, but we enjoyed the journey !

The logbook itself was quite wet, but in-tact.

Thanks Dwarf Exploder

In town with a few others for some caching. Lock down had meant increased puzzle solving and now was the time to have all that work pay off by making some finds. In the area before needing to the afternoon targets so picked up a few more including this one.
We completed the signing duties and re hid, TFTC

I really enjoyed attempting to solve this cache the first day it came out! Another spectacular Dwarf Exploder cache and reminds me of another one of your's I did a long time ago! You don't only make the best caches but also the best video's Big Grin

Didn't get the coordinates before FTF went off, and was having a bit of trouble so left it for another day. Eventually got a push and now today I was in the area so decided to make the find.

Lots of effort gone into the video which I appreciate, so another FP from me.
Well done and thanks!

20,971. Found during a caching loop around Canberra with minniek and joeylovestreasure.

Today we headed out for a variety of Adventure Labs and more traditional caches. After the 3 ALs and a nearby MM trail we have some time for a few solved puzzles. This one was a bit scary to view and attempt to solve. Thankfully GZ was quiet today - no 2 or 4 legged muggles around.

TFTC Dwarf Exploder !! We were worried you might archive this one !! Wink

Headed into Canberra to knock off some AL's with fitzy_1965 and joeylovestreasure.

After lunch with JLT, fitzy & I headed off to do some DSD caches then to collect some solved puzzle caches.

Quick find at GZ on this one. And a good thing too as a muggle rode passed after we got back in the car.

Found today while headed south to find a few long overdue caches. This was one that was worked out in a group find for the FTf race. I was at work and admit to not a lot of input, by the time I could assist and had something they were already past that point! Still, the messages flowed all day, and well after with information. This was a clever puzzle but also very detailed solve but the clues are there if you know what to do with them! Thanks for the cache Dwarf Exploder and it would seem the entertainment it created for all in the solve.

Thanks for hiding this cache Dwarf Exploder

I headed out after work to reach my caches per day target for today. It is one of my days with the least number of finds from the last 15 years. I started with a few puzzles recently solved (usually with a bit of a push in the right direction) and then moved onto the Beautiful View caches along Corin Dam road, starting from where it is closed by the ski field.

Thanks for the cache Dwarf Exploder

A late morning caching mission with ZQX. This cache was our fifth stop, and the furthest south for the day. Cache easily found. The puzzle was not so easy though. South was soon found, but the east co-ords were proving difficult, even with nudges from others. Once I stood up from my desk and looked at my screen from a different angle, all was revealed. Phew. TFTC.

Another great puzzle by Dwarf Exploder. A range of techniques required to solve it. After working out South pretty quickly, I spent another five hours trying to find east. The CO provided a nudge that helped me get a little closer, and there it was.
More to follow.

I have never had more fun and frustration in working out a puzzle.
Always thinking I was on the right path and the “the coordinates are Incorrect”
After hours of searching a a couple of nudges I was off in the right direction. Then BINGO!!! I’ve never been so excited to find something.

Off we went to find the GZ. After a full day of packing and moving house we thought we would use the last of the day light to head out. After the last of the muggles had walked past it was a quick trek to the GZ and a quick find.

The amount of time and detail that went into creating this puzzle is really exciting to see. Like most of Dwarf Exploders caches they are always so excited to find. Thank you so much for this cache. Definitely a favourite

[FTF] with Tankengine. Such a tricksy puzzle. Worked on it most of the day. We looked, thought, replayed but could not crack the East but TE thought of something outside the box and got the green light. Shame we all could not have been there for the FTF but so happy to have one today. Thanks for a great puzzle Dwarf Exploder

Chooo ooo [FTF] with Joolay!
So - today was the big day - caches published again after about 2 months!!! Plenty were released in the morning, and I was off - over hill and dale!

Whilst I was climbing mountains, my friends started working on this puzzle! By the time I was done, they had solved south, and had a number of theories on east! So, home again, I sat down and started working on it as well! Our little chat group was in overdrive - with ideas flying about! - Anyways eventually - looking at this from a different angle - I noticed something! After that, it fell out fairly quickly! Sadly not all the others in our group could make the pickup, but I met Joolay at GZ for a combined FTF! Thanks for the cache DE! Cool!
