Kulai I found your cache The Cache on Radar Hill on 24/5/2023, 12:20 pm. This is my find 5390 and find # 9 today. Found it with the help of the hint. Hard to be stealthy here as the cache is next to dogs which starts a chain reaction of dogs barking. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Today, I joined ruzzelz for a kayak paddle along Burpengary Creek, targeting the recently published *Bird Sanctuary* puzzle caches, and other interesting geocaches. An enjoyable paddle adventure with a few terrific creek sections, although it was longer than we had anticipated.
As the rain drizzle started to fall, I visited a few other geocaches in the area, including the *Moore Road* trail series, before then heading west to Burpengary for a late lunch, where I also completed the [Points of interest in Burpengary](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/655391cd-4c30-407b-85ba-350e98fe280c) Adventure Lab. By this time, with increasing rain intensity, I travelled back home, and with a small weather window, I took a few final stops in Chermside and Stafford Heights.
This was my final cache find of my day, and the recent historical logs appeared to give this a mixed rating. Undeterred, I parked, and wandered down, and initially used the previous log's comment regarding the cache being opposite of that photo as my first guide, however, that didn't seem to yield too much. The hint was a little odd, and it meant I had to scroll all the way down to Crookedpete's FTF log, until realising that he scored a mention within the description. Using that information, it was quick to narrow down the very well-constructed cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and it looks like the logbook issue has been resolved by the recent geocache finders. Thanks Kulai for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Needs a new container to keep log dry and out of the mud. Good idea for how to hide it. We found it, not in its hide but well under the item the hide sits at. Placed it back in the hide and hope it lives on.

Wednesday Madness means time for adventure with mates. SaintsMadHouse met up with me at Stafford, and without any real plans for the day, we were making it up as we went along.
We grabbed a few caches that SaintsMadHouse needed for her D/T loop and dates placed calendar, before stopping in Taigum for lunch.
As the day was pretty much done (and so was SaintsMadHouse), we decided it was time to make our way back to my car, with perhaps one or two park and grabs along the way, as there’s always “just one more”.
And this one was our final “just one more”.
Parking the car we were rather impressed with the views here. We made our way down to GZ slowly, with the neighbourhood dogs going off, but at GZ we made our find quickly - albeit in two pieces.
The idea was well constructed however, and we had no trouble signing the logsheet. Then it was off back up the hill to the car, and back to where we had left mine for the day.
Thanks for the cache Kulai.

3 Dogs nearby not happy. Found cache, it does need a new container to keep it dry and even though the owner has noted this I shall log a NM in a minute so it is tracked for geocache maintenance help. The cache was found by us opposite the spot in the photo
Had another look this week and found it!
The log is pretty yuck so no stress if you locate the cache and cannot sign it.

Cool cache container! Thank you Kulai for placing and maintaining The Cache on Radar Hill for us to find today.

Cache log was in pieces so have replaced with water proof log. I’ve removed the old log paper as it was essentially mush.
Little hidden cache, bring tweezers or pliers to retrieve log to sign bc it’s stuck in there
I found this really easy because I live 2 streets awayI went with my besties and signed the log with “OEL” we had lots of fun finding it
A good day for caching with E_Smiley and Domsky. Going through backlogs now and I was distracted with other holidays.

We parked not too far from GZ and stopped to admire some pretty beautiful views of Brisbane. It was then time for a short walk to GZ where E Smiley found the hide quickly.
Back to the car, where we noticed the swimming pool that we hope never falls down or gets a major leak down that very steep road. Could be quite something!?
Thanks Kulai

After looking where I thought it was, I had to double check the logs. Very clever hiding spot!
My previous visit to this area was unsuccessful and as I was coming back to the area again today, I read the previous logs, hint and description and worked out where I should start looking. I can't remember looking there last time.
I came down from the top after checking out the engineering feet of the construction of the swimming pool near the entrance to the path. I wonder what the people downhill from it think of it?.
On arrival, I checked out where I thought the cache would be and my second check proved fruitful.
It is always good to invert a frown. The log was damp and brittle and is falling apart.

Driving to our next cache, we spotted this one nearby and so too advantage of collecting a smile. Gunnie spotted it and signed the log. TFTC
An unexpected cache visit for NurseyJulie and I this morning as e were chasing Drum puzzle caches. A very short walk to GZ and luckily, we avoided hunting in what might be the obvious spot.
The cache was in hand pretty quickly, but it took a little work trying to get the log out. It's not doing well with the rain, but we managed to etch our names and tuck things back in place.
A nicely constructed cache. Agree with TeamTinda that something to protect the log would help prevent multiple maintenance runs.
Cheers Kulai.

Pretty tricky. I think I dislodged the cache without realising it, then found it later on a second round of everything.
The log is dry but perhaps a chunk of blutack would be helpful to keep things together.
Anyway, TFTC and trip to a new high point.

Luckily no barking dogs today. I looked at a few spots then noticed something and checked in that spot and there was the cache. Not sure if there’s supposed to be a lid but there wasn’t so log slightly damp but still signable. And I needed tweezers to extract. Tftc
Quick find once we stopped stressing about the noise the neighbours dogs were making! Top spot! TFTC!
TFTC smile 9724 out and about with miss millie geo dog Hatzofff RoddyC Snickersallan Patrol14 and Imbunda Signed as SPRIGH Team great cache, great friends, great day ,good weekend

In the local area for the second time to find some more Drum geoart with geo friends, hatzofff, RoddyC, patrol14, grannysmith1947 and Imbunda. This was a beautiful day full of fun, tree climbing, fishing and just plain old walking.
Little detour to find this good sneaky hide, well done CO.

I had a late start today as I had to have my leg dressed, caching injury 3 or 4 weeks ago and I also had a hair cut booked but then I was able to join with RoddyC, Hatsoff, Patrol14, Snickersallen and GrannySmith1947 to do a bit of Drumming and a few other caches. Its always good to have company.

Picking up a few smiles while in the area. Out with RoddyC Patrol14 snickersallan GS1947. Lovely walk out and about.
This one took far too long to find but knew it had to be here. Added a new log sheet.

Out with geofriends (RoddyC, hatzofff, GS1947, Snickersallan and Imbunda) targetting the drumbeat series and others along the way.
I can see why this would be good for radar antennas up here.
Neighbors' dogs not happy we were lingering near their fence but we persisted in searching all around the place.
Speaking in whispers we finally found this tricky but clever hide.
Added some new logsheet paper as previous was just pulp.
a favourite point from us.

Now that we have more freedom, it's time to get out and about. Target: More of the Drum Beat Series which we started a couple of weeks ago. I figure we shall need another day to finish them off. Our team met up at the Stafford City Shopping Center and we started from there. All up we had just the one DNF at #6.
What's with all this rhyme?
I just don't have time.

on the way home from work i decided to pop in and find this cache. I read a few logs before i took a walk down the hill and took a quick look when the dogs started to bark so i thought i would head back to the car and see if anyone put a photo in the gallery which might give it up and sure enough there was. i now knew exactly what i was looking for and at gz i spotted the cache. I had my tweezers handy so no worries getting the log book out but it is completely ruined . I took a photo if the CO would like, sorry i didnt have a small enough log book to replace. Love the hide. Very sneaky. Thankyou for all the fun
Great little hide! Took quite a while to find but worth it. Nothing really to sign though!
Logging in retrospect as I had previously found this one and forgotten to log it. Today I visited with Burdons5 and found my name and the date on the log. Glad to finally have a smiley here.
Out for lunch with TrinityKat123 today we decided to grab this one close by. Oh that hill!
We followed the directions and TrinityKat123 pointed to what she thought I should try - good one - that’s it! Signed and replaced log (which is quite brittle). Great cache.

My wife and I had just come from lunch at the Downfall Creek bush centre. On Sunday nights Mrs Woodyrothwell throws on a charcuterie for my mother and sister and so on Monday there are always leftovers. These long weekends have meant that our Monday caching lunches closely resemble a wine tasting platter.
I can’t believe that after more than 40 years (and just less than 50) I have finally discovered olives. On charcuterie nights the only rule is that you have to try everything and my first olive was hard work but just a giant mind trick.
Before heading to GZ I scoffed down a few olives and it made walking up the hill easier. Side note: olives aren’t that good. tftc

Not so bad walking down the path, but a steep trek back up to the road. The geodog made stealthiness challenging, but we found the cache and signed. Log pretty soggy atm. Tftc
I had previously logged this as a DNF but had a second look with geo hubby and managed to find it but it took a while. Log book needs replacing. TFTC
Checked all the rocks and under them but no joy Will have to try again another time
Found it, but there's nothing to sign. At least I think so - my first find of that type.
Didn't stop to look for long. The neighbourhood dogs took exception to our dog. We thought we should move on.
A quick stop off after work, but not a quick find, it took me roughly 15 minutes to track the cache down. I was fairly certain where it was going to be when I arrived at GZ, but that wasn't the case, I was oh so close though.
Thank you for giving me a reason to visit.

Out doing some research for a new Adventure Lab cache and thought it best we collect a few smilies on the way.
VCs were out driving to find caches, striving but days end was rapidly nearing
We parked near the top and our heartrates did drop as another steep haul we were fearing.
Now it wasn't too bad and we both were quite glad the degree of the decline appealing
the slope was quite mild as downhill we filed until Mr VC was down kneeling.
Our logging task done we watched as the sun displayed colours which gave us a thrill
Now we're done for the day and are heading away from this cache placed here on Radar Hill
Made our mark and replaced as found.

I don’t have the skills to add a verse, but I appreciated the exports of the CO and others...
It wasn’t until I was leaving that I attracted the attention of one of the local hounds... nothing to see here... tftc...

Out with La Kedi and DisSister. I'll just let La Kedi do the talking except to say, Well Done and thanks for the great hide.
Well I’m certainly not creative enough to log like La Kedi so I’ll let her do the talking. Love caches like this that CO have put extra effort into. TFTC Kulai
Our last cache for the day,
This nano we did find.
It didn’t take much looking,
We were in the right frame of mind.
The nearby shack’s for sale
If you’ve got a million bucks,
But the dog that lives by GZ, well,
It couldn’t give two... hoots.
No radars now remain here,
Though views are still sublime
The slope is steep, though not sheer -
We think it’s worth the climb.
We loved the neat construction,
Well-crafted cache indeed,
I think a favourite point here
To the CO I shall cede.
