We get the weekend paper delivered and it had arrived early so it was available for the drive down from Redcliffe. I also share the driving with my wife so we both got a chance to read it. Unlike a book, a paper has a shelf life of one read. The first person that reads it first gets it in pristine condition. When the second person reads it more resembles a paper mache mask. tftc
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
Found with nissan65 on a caching trip to Coffs. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching
With a long weekend in front of me and a challenge cache in Brisbane on the radar it seemed a perfect opportunity to good to miss to not head south and chase the caches i need to successfully claim the cache. After spending the night in Coffs Harbour woke early and started the hunt for local caches with a view of working my way back towards Brisbane.I found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly located. The log was removed and signed and replaced the cache safely in its hiding place.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
We found two caches here. One is a camo taped berocca type hanging on a turquoise carabiner and the other is a black berocca type container hanging from a black zip tie. They are both hanging at about the same height and are quite close to each other. With your feet in one location you can reach both. We wished that finding two here would negate our not signing the log at the last one, haha. Anyway we signed both logs. Cheers and happy caching!
On the hunting trail with Liz and Bruce on a 2024 New Years adventure. A quick find here. Its a great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
Thanks earthly65 for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area. New berocca container hanging off existing tie.
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Today I was grabbing some of this series, as I meandered my way to Macksville. It was good to get of the beaten track and enjoy the back roads and loved the variety of hides.
Was looking at the wrong level, until resorting to hint, then it was quickly found.
Thanks earthly65 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Easy find but the lid has perished, losing its outer rim, making it difficult to remove
Found my device was all over the shop here but after a short look round, the prize was mine. Lucky 777th find! TFTC.

This morning we had some time on our hands to go out and do some mass caching! We decided to come up to the MMT and WoopiBucca trails to get some numbers up for the may challenge. Had a great day out here!
Quick find, cache lid is broken and full of water… Needs some maintenance.
Sorry for all the generic logs.

We hit the local powertrails today in search of a good bag of finds for the monthly challenge, hoping for a few favourites among them….

Tube was full of water and lid is starting to break down. The only one I’ve found today which might need some maintenance.

We started the trail from the "Woopi" end, gathering quite a collection of smiley tokens, including this one, to add to our geo map. Getting closer to the end of the trail for us today.
Thanks to earthly65 for creating this interesting trail of caches.

Lots of quick park and grabs. Others I drove passed or we gave up looking as the compass was jumpy and the day was getting hot.

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

It was another shorter rune today as we headed back out into the hills to complete the WoopiBucca trail and then onto Emerald Beach for the Ad Lab there and then a few further caches on the way home.
Great weather and another good day. We enjoyed the bush drive and then the sights along the coast were magnificent.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

Found on a day trying to get to the summit. After reaching the summit, I continued up the road as it had recently been graded and being in a low 2wd car I though I would complete the trail

Today we headed up north to complete the WoopiBucca trail, our first full day caching in a few months.
We managed to make 42 finds and 0 DNF's, the trail was a little washed out in some places but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall it was a great day out.
Thanks for the cache earthly65

Dropped the camper into Woolgoolga to have some work done on it, and this series was just across the highway. How could I resist?
Spent the morning on this series then a couple of AdLabs in Coff's.
The GPSr did wander a bit, but when that happened the clues were always good.
A nice range of sizes and hides to keep the trail interesting.
Old barocca tube it looks like to me.
Thanks, Robmc.

After caching yesterday in coffs, we saw these ones when heading home, so after reading the descriptions and looking at the D/T, we thought, these would be a nice start to the day, before we looked at Emerald Beach Adv Labs. However this was not to be the case, either we were having a bad day, or GPS in this area is crap, we struggled through the first 5 even with up to a 17mtr gz error, so I recalibrated the GPS, but was still having mixed success, it would be spot on for one, then out by 10 on others, not the best in this type of terrain.
unfortunately it was not an enjoyable day caching, it took far too long for the amount of caches done, that we were stuffed and unable to do Emerald Beach, but it is done now, traffic was light, but a few logging trucks (thankfully empty) speeding along the roads so take care if it is logging season.

Just catching up with logging about this fabulous trail I cached with IndigoBlue1 3/11/2020 thank you Earthly65
It was time to go for a forest drive with ilook4geo and this WoopiBucca series looked like a good run of caches to do. Most were easy enough to find with just a few taking a bit longer. It was an enjoyable day. All found logs had two more names added to them before being put back where they had been found.
The hint object seem to have changed into a tube.
Thank you to earthly65 for placing this series of caches.

Found at 2:45 PM GAFF3.
We were not sure where to look as GZ put us right in the middle of the intersection - so do we go up the embankment or the easier flat area behind us or - oh just stuff it let's just look over here and see what we can find - it looks wooded enough
Thanks earthly65.
Feedback: It is not a torch anymore as per the hint, but a camoed Berocca tube - not that it makes much difference in the searching for the cache.

Had time to finish the trail off this afternoon between nursing home visits. As usual most of them were a nice easy find just off the road. Started at the Woopi end and came out at Bucca. Thanks earthly65.
Not enough range to get the hint but co-ords spot on and GeoEd walked into it.
Nice quick find while caching with friends along this pretty country road, some views were exceptional when glimpsed through the tree line. TFTC
Our group DRJ (DiamonJs, Richond Lad and joojoo57) had these caches west of Woolgoolga on our list today. Completed the new series as well as some other cachers close by. Thanks to the COs for your time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment to find. It is very much appreciated.
Out and about caching today caching near Woolgoolga and area west doing a trail of caches and other caches along country roads. To the CO's thank you for placing these caches for them to be found (sorry about the generic log ). Most were easy to find, however there were a couple that needed more time to locate. Log signed as DRJ which represents us 3 cachers - DiamonJs, Richmond Lad and joojoo57. Thoroughly enjoyed. TFTC
Hitting this trail today with a couple of hours in hand. Ready to go with this awesome drive. These caches were great. Loved the drive. Thank you.
The government has now allowed for us to move around NSW. We hooked up the caravan & headed north, our 1st stop being Coffs Harbour camping at the Rugby Club.
Today we met up with Coongoola to do the WoopiBucca trail, this was a great drive along some country roads, passing many magnificant trees along the way.
Amazing amount of work done to place this series, lots of very good hints provided making for mostly quick finds.
Thanks for placing this cache earthly65

We met up with the DiMorgan team at 8.30 in Woopi for the WoopiBucca Trail which was recently published. Grub Fred was also there to meet us and presented us with wonderful personalised badges to wear at event caches, Beautiful work from the Grub Fred team.
Mrs & Mrs Grub accompanied us for the first three caches to make sure that he had signed the logs and then DiMorgan team and ourselves got into the thick of it all. The trails through here were first class and would be easily handled by a normal car.
Nearly all the geocaches were in great condition and had excellent coords. We finished the trail by 11.00 and headed off to find a few old ones that had eluded us last time we were up here. Our bellies were sending messages about lunch time so Coongoola Pat and Di headed to the world famous fish & chip shop to ease the hunger pains. The fish & chip shop in the main street has sweet potato scallops which are mouth wateringly good. We ate lunch by the beach where we also found another cache about Shipwrecks, Bonus !
A great day in the backlands of Whoopi, thank you so much earthly65 for placing and maintaining this trail for our enoyment.

Find No: 8127. Visiting from Newcastle (finally allowed to travel) staying at Safety Beach, suddenly noticed a bunch of new caches so we took off in a hurry and got the lot, thanks for the cache earthly65!!
How did we both walk to the cache and not see it... ? Sometimes the best hides are not hidden. TFTC earthly65.

This was abeautiful day for caching
We traveled up to do this trail because it sounded like what we wanted , a nice day out with friends, not to hard and doable at a nice easy pace.
We were not disappointed. Alovely trail and a credit to Earthly65. And yes you guessed it cut and paste logs.

Found in the company of ozglory. With restrictions being eased this little trail was just the thing for a much needed caching fix. Beautiful winter's day. The copy and paste logs do not detract in any way from our enjoyment and appreciation of the trail.
had a free day today and found this trail had been placed so close to my parents house, been a while since I’d been geocaching so came out here to attempt it. Found 26/29 so not too bad, unfortunately missed a couple along the way. A great trail out here, all caches well hidden and well out together and a few different ones to keep it interesting. Thanks for these caches and the work that has gone into them.
Thought I was in the right place, then decided I was wrong, got down, realised my error and back up the embankment I went. Surprised it didn't smack me in the head the first time....
