Found with minniek and the rest of Team CC24 (Canberra Canoeists 2024).Day 2 of our Colo River Region Caching Adventure. After an amazing days caching yesterday mainly on the river, it was time for some bushwalking for caches today. The main aim were the Challenges and Yin Yang series (or at least as many as we had solved). This area was our start point of the day. Nice quick find. Signed, returned, and we continued on our way to the next one. Thanks ilook4geo !! I'll be checking my stats for these ones.
It is now Sunday and we (the group who had driven up from Canberra) allowed ourselves a bit of a sleep in after the kayak adventure on the Colo River yesterday. It wasn't much of a sleep in though as there are just so many caches up here to be found - some of the mysteries having already been solved at home. The day dawned sunny and very humid, which didn't bode well for some of the hilly walks. However we were blessed with 100% finds of the caches that we targeted. This was one of them and the logs were all signed as CC24 (Canberra Crew) to save space. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches.Smittengranny](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Smittengranny) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8R66W/51474 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.
Colo River TripHeading to Wiseman's Ferry area for a weekend of caching with Joolay, contesta and Smittengranny. We joined up with a bunch of Canberra cachers to find some challenges and puzzles today. Signed as Caberra Cachers 2024 (CC24). Qualification: I have checked Project-GC and qualify for this challenge. User has 124 finds (10 needed). Thanks for hiding this cool Challenge ilook4geo
#23043 @0930Day 2 of a weekend in the Hawkesbury. About 15 Canberra cachers (including kittykatch, joolay, contesta, MinnieK, Fitzy, search4, Aykayem, smittengranny, FurfacesLL, loci612, Nibletricecakes, Gliss, Aquilus1, sacada and I) started the day with this challenge series. I had found all before except 2 which I had DNF'd. All found today. We signed as CC24 (Canberra Canoeists 2024). TFTC.According to [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8R66W/51474 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") I qualified for this challenge with 117 finds CITOs attended (10 needed).
Found on a day out this way, doing some of the Yin Yang series, challenge caches and whatever else came our way. OCW with 4Rods, EverestHigh and Its_Dozzie, we managed to survive the heat, the hills, the bush and deafening cicadas. A few goannas were spotted as well, and we enjoyed the scenery in the many places we visited.I love CITOs and have been to or hosted enough to qualify. Quick find here. TFTC
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC.Another day around the hills of Colo River collecting challenges, solved puzzles and traditionals.A great day out with the Canberra Crew signing as CC24. It was hot & exhausting with lots of bush walks over many hills. Wonderful scenery. A long convoy of cars carrying kayaks. Awesome. Many great puzzles that are well thought out. Many to still solve.[sacada](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=sacada) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8R66W/51474 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.User has 25 finds (10 needed).Filters:( types (Cache In Trash Out Event) )

We started the day walking a trail of challenges, before moving on to ying yang puzzles. Our group consisted of kittykatch, joolay, contesta, MinnieK, Fitzy, search4, Aykayem, smittengranny, FurfacesLL, loci, Nibletricecakes, Gliss, TikvaNZ, sacada and myself. We signed as CC24 (Canberra Canoeists 2024) as our group name to represent all cachers.A nice walk through the bush for the challenge caches. The cicadas were loud, oh so loud at times! But a good series and a stunning view out over the colo River we had paddled from the morning before from the trad at the end. With our walk complete, we convoyed from cache to cache mostly doing the ying yang puzzles solved. A ferry crossing saw the last cacher cross, but the ferry sat on the other side chatting to the one car returning and after a long time waiting we turned and went of caching our own way unable to cross. Later, we crossed elsewhere only to meet up with the group returning!!! A warm day and the walks become too much for me with hills, a great day (Weekend) though and time to return home. A great area to visit and cache, thanks for your cache!
Found It!Spotted this one after a bit of wandering around. Another easy challenge, I've attended over 100 CITO events!TFTC
A great day exploring the region with ESCR. We just selected caches and walks that looked interesting to get a feel for the area and ended up collecting a decent number. Bulk logging, so will write note now and check qualification later. TFTC!
Spending a few days in the area for some hikes and a paddle down the Colo river. A beautiful part of the world. TFTFun!

Sydney to Melbourne Meander. Day Two: Windsor to Cessnock (wrong direction, I know).Weather: SensationalOne of nine caches found along this fire trail this afternoon. A lovely walk along the fire trail, its fairly flat, and so peaceful after 24 hours of Sydney traffic. No wildlife seen!I had trouble finding the cache here. My phone settled on one area, and after spreading out the cache was found a bit further away from the track. There were a lot of CITOs in Adelaide last year, its slowed up a bit this year. I needed to pick my son up from Sydney airport, so took the day off work to target some specific caches in NW Sydney before heading to the airport. I spent 10 minutes looking for this one, then moved on to the next cache. On my return to the car, I spent another 5 minutes and unfortunately still could not spot this cache.

Out caching in the area today. I have signed the log and will work on qualifying
I was out along the ridgelines today with Mighty Minions, lee737, Samuel737 and Oliver737. To date I've only ever attended one CITO so I have a long way to go before qualifying for this one but at least my signature's in the logbook. Many thanks for the challenge and hide.
Under beautiful skies I made the most of my day off work to bag a plethora of caches in the Windsor / Colo area. It was one of those days where I drove past more caches than I found, but I went with specific mindset of finding caches that helped improve my D/T rating.
Thanks to all the CO's for your hides, I had a great day either in the bush or by the river.

I still need three more CITO's to qualify for this cache. At least I logged it today and will change into a found hopefully soon!
Getting out of the house for some exercise and decided to walk along North Turnbull Fire Trail and out to Morans Rock Fire Trail to take in the views. Stopped off at this cache for a cache check for the CO after the recent backburning operations several weeks ago. To be honest, I didn't have much hope for this one, but surprisingly cache is in good condition having just missed the burn.
Organising my saved list of Challenge caches in NSW. Looking forward to eventually finding these caches.

Another day that just calls out for more calendar finds.
I've been eyeing the growing challenge trail near the Colo River with interest. I know I qualify for every one except the *WhereIGo Challenge* (not even close). As I don't sign unqualified challenge caches on the basis I might qualify one day, that's ten caches I can get in one walk including the nearby traditional. SOLD!
Got all ten I went for, but two required a PAF - well text, actually, as I had major connection issues here - thanks Optus. Great walk with a top view at the end.

This was the only really close one - but I knew I qualified. Actually one of my caching goals for this year had been to up my CITO count - the regular Ebenezer CITOs were the obvious target there. But, of course, that hasn't happened!
Walked around and around for 10 minutes or so before the embarrassing find - I'd walked past it a number of times.
Completed signing duties and replaced, then onward and... upward!

Found all four challenge caches we went for, including one FTF. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing as found. Both the log and cache container are in excellent condition. Thanks for the challenge cache ilook4geo.

Made the find with a large group but sadly I find that I can’t log a found as the checker has me short. Oh well better attend a few of these
If only these were on the Southern side of Sydney. Again Project-gc tells me I have 12 finds (10 needed)
I have met the challenge, and will find and sign the log when I venture out to this area.

A joint find with the river paddlers today but I'll need to do a couple more clean ups. Thanks ilook4geo.
The plan was always to come up to this track after a day on the Colo and find the new CITO challenge plus pick up some unloved at Colo Views. Good thing we didn't reverse the order as the two new caches found need a return trip however we suspect this wont be the last trip. Found with the full NSW Chapter of GOM plus Team Novo, DKMacca and Martin Cousins.
Another micro in the bush that took us a while to find but no need to ring the Auto Club for assistance this time. One of the taller members was Grumpy at the hint for looking too high.
TFTC.
Our qualifying output as per below. Perhaps I should loan some to the other members of GOM?

Having enjoyed a fun day on the river below to pick up the CRGPT, our aim was to grab the new CITO challenge as well as some unloved days at PICTURE PERFECT - Colo Views. What a pleasant surprise to see a couple of new first-to-find opportunities pop up.

GZ is already looking well worn over an ~10m2 area. A few of us walked past the jar before it was eventually noticed.
Thought we might have had more finds but on checking, only have two CITO finds at this stage. But it's not for lack of trying. I am part of a CITO committee up on the central coast/ Newcastle area whose aim since kicking off around 18 months ago is to organise four or five CITO events in our region annually. So far we are up to about five but COVID put a halt on the sixth before it had the chance to be published. One of our finds is a nearby Charles Kemp Reserve Bushcare event back in 2017 and the other was the inaugural HAVOC & C4 CITO Series event held by us back in Sept of 2018. Hopefully I can chime back at some stage not too far down the track with some good news of successful HAVOC & C4 events being run. Our name is in the log for when that might eventuate. TFTC and challenge, ilook4geo.
