Many thanks to ilook4geo for placing A Letter Box Challenge for us all to enjoy. Your contribution to the game through the placement and maintenance of this cache over the years is appreciated.
Found on a kayaking weekend with a group of Canberra cachers. We signed as CC24. TFTC.
Found with minniek and the rest of Team CC24 (Canberra Canoeists 2024).Day 2 of our Colo River Region Caching Adventure. After an amazing days caching yesterday mainly on the river, it was time for some bushwalking for caches today. The main aim were the Challenges and Yin Yang series (or at least as many as we had solved). This area was our start point of the day. Nice quick find. Signed, returned, and we continued on our way to the next one. Thanks ilook4geo !! I'll be checking my stats for these ones.
Found with a fun group of geofriends while in the area for a geocaching adventure. Signed as Canberra Canoers 24 (CC24). It is now Sunday and we (the group who had driven up from Canberra) allowed ourselves a bit of a sleep in after the kayak adventure on the Colo River yesterday. It wasn't much of a sleep in though as there are just so many caches up here to be found - some of the mysteries having already been solved at home. The day dawned sunny and very humid, which didn't bode well for some of the hilly walks. However we were blessed with 100% finds of the caches that we targeted. This was one of them and the logs were all signed as CC24 (Canberra Crew) to save space. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches.Smittengranny](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Smittengranny) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8R87V/51494 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.
Found on a day out this way, doing some of the Yin Yang series, challenge caches and whatever else came our way. OCW with 4Rods, EverestHigh and Its_Dozzie, we managed to survive the heat, the hills, the bush and deafening cicadas. A few goannas were spotted as well, and we enjoyed the scenery in the many places we visited.Another one we found on this trail. A quick find again. TFTC
Colo River TripHeading to Wiseman's Ferry area for a weekend of caching with Joolay, contesta and Smittengranny. We joined up with a bunch of Canberra cachers to find some challenges and puzzles today. Signed as Caberra Cachers 2024 (CC24). We started the day walking a trail of challenges, before moving on to ying yang puzzles. Our group consisted of kittykatch, joolay, contesta, MinnieK, Fitzy, search4, Aykayem, smittengranny, FurfacesLL, loci, Nibletricecakes, Gliss, TikvaNZ, sacada and myself. We signed as CC24 (Canberra Canoeists 2024) as our group name to represent all cachers.A nice walk through the bush for the challenge caches. The cicadas were loud, oh so loud at times! But a good series and a stunning view out over the colo River we had paddled from the morning before from the trad at the end. With our walk complete, we convoyed from cache to cache mostly doing the ying yang puzzles solved. A ferry crossing saw the last cacher cross, but the ferry sat on the other side chatting to the one car returning and after a long time waiting we turned and went of caching our own way unable to cross. Later, we crossed elsewhere only to meet up with the group returning!!! A warm day and the walks become too much for me with hills, a great day (Weekend) though and time to return home. A great area to visit and cache, thanks for your cache!
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC.Another day around the hills of Colo River collecting challenges, solved puzzles and traditionals.A great day out with the Canberra Crew signing as CC24. It was hot & exhausting with lots of bush walks over many hills. Wonderful scenery. A long convoy of cars carrying kayaks. Awesome. Many great puzzles that are well thought out. Quick walk with dog along this trail. Signed and replaced. Meet the requirements. Thanks for the series.
A great day exploring the region with ESCR. We just selected caches and walks that looked interesting to get a feel for the area and ended up collecting a decent number. Bulk logging, so will write note now and check qualification later. TFTC!
Spending a few days in the area for some hikes and a paddle down the Colo river. A beautiful part of the world. TFTFun!

So it's on to the next one. I followed the GPS to what looked like a very likely spot and began searching as per the hint.No luck for quite a while. What's happened to my caching skills?I circled round and round, trying other possible spots. Still no luck so it was time to expand my search. That wasn't successful either but as I walked back to the original spot, being sure the co-ords would be accurate, I noticed another place worth investigating.Success!Jackscruff has used Project-GC Challenge Checker to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.User has 26 finds (25 needed).Filters:( types (Letterbox Hybrid)Very sneaky!TFTC # 5611

Today was a road trip around the Hawkesbury area. An ambitious list of caches to find as I set myself a target of reaching 10,000 finds by year end. Covid-19 lockdown put a spanner in the works and I now have only two months to find the remaining 200+ caches. So rather than interesting caches, I had to schedule a day in the car and go for quantity, rather than quality.

Getting out of the house for some exercise and decided to walk along North Turnbull Fire Trail and out to Morans Rock Fire Trail to take in the views. Stopped off at this cache for a cache check for the CO after the recent backburning operations several weeks ago. Backburning operations on the opposite side of the track, cache in good condition.

The incentive for today's trip in the rain was to qualify for the challenge of getting 5 cache types in a day which needed to include a large and coincided with the McQuade Park CITO which offered the "other" type.
This was my third trip along these fire trails so I knew what to expect. Even though there was nothing more than a heavy drizzle, I was soaked to the bone by the time I got back to the car. All containers and logs were dry and in good condition.

The team was out today on a little road caching trip to celebrate our 4000th find, so headed down the Putty Rd and into the Blue Mountains. We found the required 15 caches, and managed a handful of trigs as well to poise ourself at 3999 for the main event (in the rain it seems) tomorrow....
We went crazy on letter boxes a while back for another challenge, and are currently chasing 100 of the buggers. Our GPS said we were 8m out at this one?

Rather beautiful area. Few orchids out and other pretty little plants. Nice seeing 2 species of persona growing side by side here and patersonsia as well which is a favourite of mine, but haven't been seeing them with open flowers much recently. Another day that just calls out for more calendar finds.
I've been eyeing the growing challenge trail near the Colo River with interest. I know I qualify for every one except the *WhereIGo Challenge* (not even close). As I don't sign unqualified challenge caches on the basis I might qualify one day, that's ten caches I can get in one walk including the nearby traditional. SOLD!
Got all ten I went for, but two required a PAF - well text, actually, as I had major connection issues here - thanks Optus. Great walk with a top view at the end.

###END OF QUALIFICATION INFO###
Continued on after my second DNF in three attempts - checks the difficulty level of the hides as I unsuccessfully try to PAF. Finally a text seems to go through instead. Phew.
I had a lot of trouble getting a fix here, the iPhone (yeah, I know) jumping all over the place under the trees and sullen sky.
After 10 minutes I was getting confident of the right area, and then suddenly spotted something I'd walked past earlier. Gotta be it.
And it was.
Competed signing duties and replaced. Then continued on as I received an answer to my previous query. At least I can narrow the possibilities better there now.

For some reason I was expecting a letterbox cache here as well. Something about a nice walk in the sun after being stuck in the cold at work all week had my mind wandering...
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Found another one to add to the challenge cache tally. No problem in finding the container and adding another name to the log. Favourite point added for a favourite CO. Thanks for placing this series of challenge caches.

A call from Tardis and said a couple of teams were going out so we joined in for these new few. Out again in a familiar area and we knew we would easily quality given our find numbers. No problems making the find and a blank log for Joint **FTF**. TFTC.
