Well that was a good sized cache. All in good condition. Left a pathtag. Thanks for placing
Went to the most obvious place and made a quick find, though cool place for a cache!! TFTC!!
Today was a day out in the PeuGEOt with littlecogs.easily foundCache was easily found by littlecogs, log signed and replaced.
Nice quick find with our caching mates while making our way back home after checking out the area.TFTC TNLN
When I think of "Crossroads" in the musical sense, not only does the band Cream's track Crossroads march into my conscience (and become a bleedin' "ear-worm"), an album by Ry Cooder of the same name and 1986 movie starring Ralph Macchio & Joe Seneca spring to mind - or at least into my tiny mind! What doesn't spring to mind and I hope never will is another movie with that name starring, *gag, hack, cough cough* the attention seeker Britney Spears. A "girly movie". Bleh! Too much information!TFTC
On a road trip to Ballarat with our caching mates to meet up with a couple more friends for a pub lunch. Heading back we stopped on the way to pick up a few more caches along this route. It was Wetjala and Mr. Pooky who were scouring possible hiding spots when Mr. Pooky made the find in the obvious spot. TFTC and showing us more of this area.
Another in this little series as I drove back to Melbourne today, parked right near GZ and had the cache in hand after a short search. Thanks to Sunset62 for this one
Found with LexiRover after seeing the steam train at Yendon. Nice day for geocaching. TFTC
Quick find. This would be the cleanest and most well maintained cache I have seen for quite some time! Thanks for the cache
Heading home after a trip to Elaine. Time to stop for a couple of caches so nice to find these on the trip.
Thanks for the cache Sunset62

Found it g=finnaly, as my GPS was initially saying it was somewhere else, but obvious once it was found: David
After an early morning medical appointment in Ballarat, we had a lunch date in Ballan, so it was the perfect opportunity to go via the scenic route and this cache series.
Nice quick find of this good sized familiar cache container - all good at GZ. While the song is familiar, you can't go past that psychedelic album cover! TFTC Sunset62

With the warning of a detour, we still decided to venture along this road and see how far we could get. This is the exact spot that we had to turn around but we managed to find the cache first. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
Stopped for a cache and was found and logged.
November 2022. Time for the second Victorian Mega of the year. This time in Whittlesea. What is it with W's? Time for another epic road trip. Who will join our merry crew? We traveled from South Australia and camped in the pig pen. It rained. It blew. It was sunny. It was not sunny. All four seasons. Beautiful location and some awesome caches.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

We had been in Ballarat today and headed out to complete a few Adventure labs and pick up some targetted caches.
Neither of us had been along this road before, so seeing new sights was enjoyable. It was also an excellent day to be in the car as it was very wet and cold; fortunately, it was not windy, as that would have been miserable.
It is lovely finding caches along country roads as there are usually exciting sights to see at each cache site. The tree trunks and foliage were beautiful at this stop.
The cache was found quickly and in excelled t condition.
Thank you for this cache, Sunset62.

While on the way to a night time AdLab with buhfuhguh we made a stop at these caches as we were passing by.
It was an interesting drive through the area with the huge wind turbines so close.
Once at GZ we were able to make a quick find of the cache.

Another weekend another caching trip to a CITO with stemicmitsar. Out for revenge I suppose on finishing a series that be just ran out of time on last time we were out this way, with the extra addition of not having an essential tool for a cache along this way. More prepared and with plenty of sunlight we set off to turn some caches in to smilies.
Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

Found by Mary and David at 12:45. At last a container that can take a TB, so we dropped off "The travelling King". The day is warming up, it's 35° already. The beaitiful people tonight will be disappointed that the drones and rooftop fireworks have been cancelled. Our thanks to Sunset62.

A little late leaving Geelong and dreading the road to Ballarat that has been a bugbear to drive for the last few years and it was no better this morning with new roadworks and old ones that I think they have forgotten to remove the signs as there is no sign of any work being done.
No wind today so all the wind turbines were at a standstill, so much for green power. At least the solar panels are generation some power for the grid.
On arrival in Buninyong, I discovered that I had come into the township when I should have turned off earlier.
Oh well some you win and some you don’t, backtracked and headed out to the Union Jack Trail where after parking it was a short stroll to the cache area. I found that I could drive very close to the next three.
With the log signed it was off to this road which is the Yendon- Egerton Rd which I have never been on before so all new territory. Thanks Sunset62 for placing.
Great variety of hides with all being different. Well done.

With an easing of regional covid lockdown restrictions, we enjoyed a drive along the Buninyong - Ballan road. Fun and laughter amidst the songs, canola, turbines and interesting scenery.

We had been to Ararat today, to catch up with family we hadn't seen for about 18 months. We had a great time sitting together in the sun and catching up. Once that was done, it was time for a leisurely cruise back to Geelong, with a few caches to make life interesting. Geek moment -- Cream's *Disraeli Gears* cover was designed by an Australian, and is the only Australian piece in the Museum of Modern Art. We did not see any pressed rat or warthogs, but we did see the cache! Left a geonickel! Many thanks.
Find No. 3424. Found with FUF009 at 12.00 mid-day
A Saturday caching drive, with FUF009 on board, down to Ballarat and Ballan way getting caches along the way.
We know this road well. We ride it every year on our bicycles when we do the 100k Fiona Elsey Cancer Ride. It sure brought back memories for us.
A scramble up the bank for quick and easy find plus good to see a decent sized container. A container that we know so well. Yes, St.Arnaud is our home town and we were so lucky to have the Mega event held there back in 2019.
TFTC and the memories of our bicycle rides over many years. In fact this is the first time we have ever driven these roads.

With the weather turning out far better than the Bureau of Meteorology first predicted, it was a great afternoon to take the geodaughter out for a drive and find a few caches. Nice easy find on a road that was surprisingly busy this afternoon. And I do enjoy some Cream / Eric Clapton.Thx Sunset62 FTC.

After enjoying the local Adventure Labcache in Ballan we headed along the 'Country Road" towards Ballarat completing the well executed series. The well themed caches were all easy finds bar one and another one was left for the next day as the shearers were looking straight at GZ.
Well we arrived at the crossroads of the series and continued along the way after signing the logbook.
Thanks Sunset62 for the very familiar hide.

SMS83 and I were over this side of town after picking some stunning sunflowers at Dunnstown so we decided a cache or two was in order. A lovely little drive here nabbing some of these. Will be back for more! Thanks for the caches and trail.
Thankfully another easy find here while 2vehicles were using the small crossroad as I signed the log Today’s target was the series heading east from here and it provided a variety of caches as it educated my journey TFTC Sunset62

TFTC Sunset62. It is amazing how plans get changed . We are planning to be at the Ballan Event this coming Thursday. As part of that plan we were going to attempt this series then. Having spent a day inside yesterday due to heat, we decided to travel this road from Yendon through to Ballan today. A great series of interesting hides. Some of the music is still floating around my head.
We stayed in Ballarat for the last night of our trip. We hoped to pick up a few multi's for a challenge we are working toward and also any others that we came across. This music themed cache seemed like a good logical choice to continue on.
Wow this is one we have not heard of for a long time, We again downloaded the song and listened to it heading to the next cache. These caches should have been spaced further apart so we didn't have to sit in the car and wait for the song to end before we started our search.
A few cars are using this road today.
Another quick find where the GPS said it should be and our name added to the log.
Thank you Sunset62 for the info song and cache.

I was channeling the cross road blues by Robert Johnson where he sold his soul.
"Ooh, standin' at the crossroad, tried to flag a ride
Ooh-ee, I tried to flag a ride

A quick find like everyone else once I checked no one was home...
