Unfortunately the drink had been drunk by the time HS and I had arrived at this tavern. Not to worry, there Is still the business of signing the log before the locals get suspicious and think that they should come over and join the party. Thanks for the cache W.E.K.A
Love little cul de sac with some Rhodes and azaleas just coming out .Thank you for this cache . I tooknothing and leftnothing ans all was well with thecache ex hint thank you
Didn't have any beers with us, but we're drunk on caching, especially around here, lol. Nice and easy, log all good and signed here. TFTC.
After this one we parted ways with the CO.Arrived today from the Northern Island to attend Geo Toroa (Mega), as a group consisting of myself, HeMaLuDy, UncleSamNZ, keylev, NZ Travellers, and of course it would be rude to not locate caches as we left the airport heading into our accommodation in Dunedin.Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space and on our way to the next hide.TFTC.
Team SEAC consisting of HeMaLuDy, Stik-a-crane, UncleSam, Keylev and ourselves headed to Dunedin for the 2024 MEGA!All logs were signed as SEAC to save paper (except where specific signing requirements were requested)Thanks to all the CO's who had maintained the caches as we found a majority with fresh paper and containers!Loved the bar leaner and fairy lights in the island. could image the neighbour locals here on a lovely night !!!!!TFTC
We are in Dunedin this weekend for the Mega with Stik-a-Crane, UncleSam, KeyLev, and NZTravellers. We have signed all logs as team SEAC to save space, especially as we know this weekend will be busy for all caches. We have landed, picked up the cars and the plane geoart and any other trads, multis, or puzzles we have solved are the targets for the day. We have had an amazing time and had very few DNF's for a very successful day with lots of laughs and memories made. This looks like a lovely spot for a neighbourhood get together. So nice of the CO to hop on her bike and join us here too,
After completing the aeroplane series it was time to branch out and find some others 'on the way' into Dunedin. Wow what an awesome spot here!! I can only imagine the street parties that go on here...what a great community spirit! Unfortunately whilst I looked at one set of the 3 hint items, Mrs HeMaLuDy was looking at the other set and she found the nicely themed cache container! Just as we were signing the CO turned up on her bike! Thanks for the cache - a fav point for the cool location and themed cache. Signed as Team SEAC (South East Auckland Crew)
Very cool cache. Gets a fav point from me.Here for a fun weekend with friends from Auckland to attend the 2024 Mega. All logs signed SEAC as a group. Very sorry for the generic plain logs. Thanks to all cache owners for placing the caches.
Maintenance check before the MEGA next weekend and all is wellNotebook which has heaps of space.
We hatched a plan to make a road trip to otago and pick up a few caches. With Mosgiel putting on a beautiful day . This was a suprise to see abd such a great community idea , they must have solved a lot of the worlds problems here im sure .No patrons in to day but maybe we are judt a bit early. Getting out and about in to the out doors is my happy place so any excuse to go caching. As if I need an excuse aahhh nop I will go rain hail or snow so let's goooo and have as much fun and adventures as possible tomorrow may never come and we never know what tomorrow may hold for us all just do it Life is short. Live life one foot step at a time.Never say" I'm gonna "- Just do it!! Tomorrow may never come just grab Life by the horns , lets just go for it .Thanks for the hide tftc
What a great idea. Lovely spot for the outdoor tavern. Found with DSI & AnnieLin TFTC
Really fun spot. Looks like a great community to be part of!Cheers to you who live here
Went to the wrong set of hints first, but then ahh.. there it goes! Pretty quiet out here on a chilly Friday morning, no one sitting having any drinks!
I came by to collect this cache because I need only 4 more with the Bicycles Allowed attribute to reach 250 of those and collect Natalies challenge on the walkway at St Leonards. I loved the table and bar stool construction - nifty.TFTC
I spent the whole day here today and found a lot of interesting caches.Greetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

Nice one for the younger kids. Turns the afternoon walk into a treasure hunt, next time I will remember a drink BYO at this tavern.
As the AO tennis had finished I was a little lost for something to do after dinner so I assembled my bike and went for an evening cyclocache ride before it got dark. There were this small series of caches along Silverstream and in the neighbouring suburb so they formed an obvious target. No customers at the tavern and no beverages on tap either. Found an empty though TFTC.
Rather appropriate for Christmas day. Very easy find given how exposed it is. Thanks.
After completing the Geo Art there was still a few hours of daylight left so I did a bit of leisurely caching in Mosgiel. TFTC
What a neat wee spot. Probably not enough seating for the whole neighbourhood party but pretty cute all the same. Nicely crafted container - worth a favourite. TFTC # 18,214
Out and about visiting family in Mosgiel with peteslookin. This wasn't far from where we were so just had to make a wee detour on our way home. What a great wee spot. Plenty of neighbours out today but the tavern was empty...and dry!!! Oh well home now for a BBQ and a nice cold one TFTC W.E.K.A.
Having not seen the photo, we had no idea what the title meant until we got there. Sat on the hint objects to fill in the log and realised just how cold they are today. Whew, another one done and on our way to warm up in the car again. Found with Debsnz. Thanks for putting this out there.
Having seen the picture just now, it all makes sense - a great way to meet the neighbours! We spotted the hint object quickly and came up with the aptly disguised cache without any trouble. Thanks WEKA's for another fun cache. Found with Spoonz2
I wanted to find 3 caches for a challenge cache near Nelson that I'm chipping away at. Because of the dampness I changed my target ones from lupin covered sand dunes to suburbia. I had been here last year when a fellow geocacher signed off the log. Great container. Thanks for the placement.
Spent an afternoon caching with Malinkaly today, knocking off a few caches around Mosgiel. We were lucky enough to be offered some kind help by a local - obviously not a muggle since he knew what it was about. Thank you! We were admiring the spot and enjoyed discovering it - amazing what pops up in your own backyard sometimes. Cheers!
Local patron (a bit underaged for a pub goer) proudly helped us in this challenge. Perfect idea for a wonderful neighborhood!
After an overnight stay at the Brighton Domain catching up with fellow travellers, off on a trip back to caching around Mosgiel and along the way.
A quick find here with the good hint, cool cache. Alas the pub with no beer and I was thirsty as hell too on this warm day! tftc

Not an easy cache to be along for long. Luckily the neighbours knows it's here. Thanks for this easy find.
Carpark was full at the tavern. No stealth needed meant a quick walk from a back street greenway and grabbed the bevvy cache, signed log and chucked some extra swag in with the small items on offer. Cache returned to the RRP, thanks for some light comic relief for an easy park'n'grab Jen, not all suburb caches are as respected by muggles.
Our 'Rona neighbours were generally well behaved except for a teenage breakout attempt while their boyfriend gunned the ute engine where parked down by the gateway. Mom was not amused when her chick tried to sneak away: "I can see you! You get back here!!"
