When I placed this cache, I thought GZ was part of the crown land reserve associated with the old quarry, but new mapping data suggests it's private property belonging to the sand company. Although there's unlikely to be a problem seeing it's well away from the developed area. it's best I remove this cache.
Upon returning from my late afternoon walk, had time to squeeze in just one more of course and this is in the area. Nice quick find, thanks BFJ
On a routine check of the cache, I found that, although the inside of the Sistema looked dry, there's enough persistent moisture in the hiding place for some mould to have started growing in the logbook. After cleaning everything up, I've replaced the container with a Duratech ABS instrument case which is now my go-to container for moist environments.
Made this way harder for myself by looking in totally the wrong area and nearly getting stuck
Once I got out of it and climbed to the top of the rock like a beacon of sunlight in a cave, I see a hint of blue behind a rock and knew exactly what it was!
After signing and calming down I took in the amazing view. Bring a buddy with you for this cache and don’t go down from the rocks.
Many thanks for the cache!

Today was my regular visit to the Central Coast for walks and bird watching and usually I have time to grab a cache somewhere along the way. This time we were in Pearl Beach and Patonga.
I'd been lucky as one of our walks was to Mt Ellalong lookout which I hadn't expected and I was able to escape from the group and find the cache there. These days they know what I'm doing and don't take much notice of me scrambling around in the bush looking for plastic boxes.
Not knowing about that stop I had planned to try and locate this cache on the way home. With a find already - will I, won't I stop? There nearly wasn't room to park the geomobile but I managed to squeeze it off the road then helped some muggles with directions. They thought I was local, ha ha. No but I could help.
So then it was off to the cache.
The directions were clear, the co-ordinates were excellent, and the hint well really I was looking for something else but it was very accurate.
Cache found, log signed, view admired. Worth the stop!
Favourite point awarded, thanks barefootjeff for showing me this great little spot.

We spent a fair bit of time up here during the lockdowna getting our daily exercise in on bikes and on foot, but there are still plenty of places we haven't seen and this awesome little vantage point is one of them.
Thanks for placing a cache here and bringing us to another exciting place on a windy day.

After attending the nearby plant fair I thought why not grab a cache while down here. We parked at Staples lookout for a short walk to GZ where the cache didn't take long to locate. Beautiful day with a terrific view from here. Found an interesting rock feature a few metres east from GZ, almost like a natural water trough. TFTC
Seems i found this after a cache check. I was here, bout 15:30. Anyway, a pleasant walk and a great view, though the trees are growing. Lots of little birds around, and i think i saw a honey eater of some description. Too flighty to gat any photos, or even a good look. Cache was soon spotted, and for an old man like me, it was a difficult retrieval. A lovely little log book to boot. I took the 2 tb's to move on. TFTC.
Cache check after the latest big wet, all good. The two TBs left by the_garbageman are still there, if no-one takes them before my next visit I'll move them along although I don't know if there are any other non-micro caches around here that are likely to be visited more often than this one.
Being in the area we headed over. We took the more direct route and found the track on the way out. At GZ the hint was soon spotted and the nicely tucked away cache was soon found and the signing duties were completed. TFTC.
Missed out on this one the other week as I took a shortcut back to the car. Jogged out within 70m and took the wrong path until reading the description properly. Found after a short search and noticed the clue once I had made the find. Great views, can even see the Ba'hi temple at Terry Hills from here! TFTC!!!
A lovely little walk with the whole family, including the two year old. WPs were perfect and the only barriers today were some slippery rocks and mud after the rain. And maybe the humidity - sweating up a storm today!
GZ for us was within 1m! Nailed it BFJ! A quick find just below the hint.
Dropped two 2TBs that we picked up near Canberra a while ago and picked up the butterfly TB that was in the cache. TFTC

Found 1:57 pm . We were wanting to get a bit of exercise and took the dog then I suggested to find a geocache. Upon coming to the gate we just weren’t sure if taking a small dog on a lead would still cause a stir so the fiancé walked him and her alongside the road down towards Woy Woy (which one would’ve been safer?, I don’t fully understand why a dog under proper lead can’t be walked in these places). I went on down the track to go find the cache following the best approach it was fairly easy getting to GZ but for me trying to find the cache based on the hint was a challenge. “A circular depression” all I can say is GZ didn’t fit my definition of circular. I did clamber down to check out what seemed to be a circular hole not there. So it took me a bit of time trying to figure out where it was and relied eventually on the coords and stepping on the right side then I saw something and also discovered the cache. Signed the log, dropped off a TB (looks bit like a butterfly). Returned the cache back to its hiding spot.
I headed back to where the geovehicle was to then catch up with the other half and dog.
I should note that every man and his friends were out walking, d’oh I thought in these Covid times weren’t supposed to group together, quite obviously some just don’t care. Every park entrance had lots of vehicles parked I guess they think out of sight the authorities won’t know. Personally I think it is irresponsible, the virus doesn’t give a crap about anything, all it wants to do is to be continued to be spread.
Thanks for the cache and my rant. Lol.

Beautiful day for a walk, a profusion of wildflowers on the way up, and what a view at the cache location. Great spot for a cache!
Dry at last and a nice clear day to enjoy the view and a bit of a trot through the bush for some much-needed exercise. Thanks barefootjeff.
Found with ThusBruv_sqrd, Bill Hill531 and Shaneo58 while caching in the area, the youngest of our group made the find here. TFTC
Found with Shaneo58 and Banj5150, thusbruv_sqrd and beary_unicorn. We came down from up North for some special caches. After fing the wabbits we had a nice walk to here , with some great views for a speedy find

On my way back up to Kariong, spotted a single parking space and couldn't resist my third barefootjeff cache of the day. A nice short stroll to GZ with great views as promised.
Decided to grab the Team Novo Paradiddle Puddle FTF TB although it might be quite challenging to get it to its desired destination in the current environment.

Maybe I was just lucky, but I found it immediately. The cache is in good condition.
A nice sunny winter day with no wind about ... a perfect day to go for a walk and get a smiley for doing so.
Unlike Riokun, I followed the geo-guide properly so no problems getting to GZ but like him, it took me longer than it should have to make the find ... not because I was overthinking things but because I obviously didn't look properly at first, or second. Eventually, though, I spotted the tell tale sign I should have seen before and was able to bring the cache to hand and get my smiley as a prize.
Speaking of prizes ... my phone dinged while I was taking in the view notifying me that I'd won a GCA pathtag as a prize for doing a locationless challenge it had published in June. Today seems to be my lucky day!
Thanks for the hide and for the view BJF, it made for a very enjoyable little outing.

Started work early, so finished work early (but not too early, almost forgot to dial into a meeting...) Sunny outside so I was out the door as quick as I could. After the 'worrying' meeting it was magic to be back on a trail among some sweet smelling bush. And soon I was right in the bush, suspecting that yet again I had missed the easy path.
Finally got to the rock clearing/s and let out a few "woo woo woo"s knowing that no-one would hear them. Nice views from here Jeff, I knew you would have found another good spot! It took me longer than it should have to find the cache, I over-complicated things but soon saw a SPOR and had CIH. I signed the logbook and swap trackables.
Only going back did I notice the flag on the map with the 'proper' entry point. Looking at the cache description I see the CO has trickily hidden some instructions "continue along to the reference point. From there, just follow the rock shelf to GZ" and "Leave the fire trail here" in a code I rarely pay attention to "plain English". If this had been written in morse, atbash, Kenny code, base64, braille, I would have been right onto it, anything but plain English. Sneaky CO haha.

We drove up the hill and found no parking, so parked further up on the other side and walked back. There was so much fast traffic today that it was quite dangerous crossing, but we were soon on the main walk, and then heading up towards GZ. The last section from the final waypoint was quite easy, even for MrsFish, and we had morning tea looking at the view before collecting the nicely hidden cache. Many thanks barefootJeff, this is an ideal cache to get back into it after so many months and all your coordinates were excellent as usual.
{FTF} so the day finally came to get back out there again. And to celebrate got a FTF WITH rozway. Great view.
