I have never been on this track before, so another great walk discovered through caching. It took a little while to find this one, at first we were searching in the wrong area. Thanks for the cache koalabinski!
Out on a couple of walks today, collecting some caches along the way. This walk took me to an area I was completely unaware of, and what a lovely area it is! Cache found quickly enough with the hint, and it's all good.TFTC
Second find for the day after getting FTF just down the rivulet. Enjoyed the walk even though my boots are starting to leak water through whilst walking in the wet grass. After finding the cache, which didnt take long, I replaced the ripped plastic bag and returned it to its hide. I then walked the rest of the track to the next road and wondered how I could place a cache half way up the cliff. Thanks for hiding this cache for us the find.
Hello opted-out user thank you for the cache
I started to look in one spot and then moved a little further away from the track still with out any luck.
Back at where I first look I found your cache.
It was some time ago that I had found a cache here.

I almost gave up on this one. I needed a change of tact to see it. The terrain was tricky and the prickles in my legs were not unwelcomed but it was great to get to make the find.
Our 3rd find. We rock hopped and scrambled, fought the blackberries... but to no avail. Almost gave up the ghost, but an eagle eye spotted it! Thanks
Found on return from a walk to Pelverata Falls. Unfortunately Sue trod in a mud hole just before cache.
What a lovely morning for a walk with my love. Headed out as we are staying nearby and RosieApples came up with the find. Cache in good order and didn’t need the rock scrambling after all. Accessible right from the trail. TFTC TNLN SL
With time running away from us we looked for the shortest walk and after a couple of options were turned down we made a short fast walk to GZ where the cache was spotted after a short esrach.
Today I was out caching back in Tassie after being on the mainland last week, but it was good to be back and as a bonus I was out caching with Tassie Trekkers, Whitewebbs and the Goose, it was nice to catch up with people as we made our way down the track and later as we found a few caches together, last cache of the day was a good one being a nice event saying goodbye to EeePees family, unfortunately EeePees is staying
Thanks for the cache.

We debated which entrance to take here. We drive past two options and stopped at the last which seemed to be the shortest walk. Mr WW has been here before but the rest of us hadn't and we were quite amazed at the the cliff. SSR noticed a little cave at the base of a tree way up the cliff and thought it would be a nice (spelt EVIL) place to hide a cache. Our focus then returned to this cache and soon Mr TT made a find similar to the last one.
Thanks again koalabinski

While caching in the area we picked your cache up along the way with stainless-steel-rat and gooseandegg. Great views of the cliffs, agood example of sandstone weathering.
Cache and contents were in good condition and adding to our favourites.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Had some time today to go and get a target GCA cache.
Drove to huonville and wandered to this cache on the way back.
Last time I tried to get to this cache the river was in flood and I could not get across. This time it wasnt a problem at all. No water flowing over the ford.
I wander along to the GZ and spotted a possum sitting in a tree next to the track. He climbed up further when I approached
The cliffs are amazing, and some of the trees growing where gravity looks like it will take them down to the bottom of the cliff very soon. Onc in particular, a very large tree, doesnt look long before it comes down.
The creek was lovely to walk along next too.
The lightning tree was also amazing. Cache found, signed and returned to the location and I enjoyed the walk back along the creek to the car.
Thank you for bringing me here. Favorite point given

Really enjoyable walk nice and close to the cliffs and the creek. Thanks for putting a cache here koalabinski
What a lovely walk, really enjoyed it! I have driven past many times and have been told Peregrine falcons breed on this cliff.
I assume the blackberries aren’t sprayed here, so enjoyed them too!
Thanks for taking us here!

Today we had decided on the Kaoota Track walk to pick up all the local caches. Male membsec needed the walk. We have been close to this one once before but I think we were too tired to get to it!
We got a bit confused with this one, should have looked at the parking coords then it would have made more sense of where the track started! Eventually got there and a nice walk to GZ along the creek! I loved the little rock waterfall along the creek not too far away from GZ. There were plenty of live animals hopping around too.
Around GZ there were plenty of places to hide a nice size container. Did have to look at the hint to make sure we were looking in the correct area, we were, we needed to be a bit further away from the mentioned tree than we thought! All good, everything ok with the container and log book.

With TaurusSix I found this cache. Then got caught up in blackberry when I went to look at the rivulet.
A lovely stroll even though its raining and the track is very wet. Cache in great condition and quickly found. Thank you!
Being a beautiful day today, we figured what better way to spend it than to track down a cache or two?
We'd previously been along this path a couple of years previously and enjoyed it on that occasion, so between that and a (relatively) new cache in the area, we knew where we were headed! We had a lovely time walking the track from the Allens Rivulet Rd parking area, largely due to the abundance of friendly horses in the area, but also due to the exciting discvovery of a trove of painted "TasRocks" hidden along the way. A treasure every 50m or so! As it happens, we'd planned on hiding a few of our own, so it was kind of ironic that we spotted so many already in the area!
As we approached GZ, we discovered a plethora of potential hiding spots ripe for exploring. Between the GPSr and (evenutally) the hint, we figured we knew where to look and spent a good ten minutes or so searching to no avail. Finally though, a revisit of a spot we'd checked and supposedly ruled out earlier actually ended up giving up the goods (mostly thanks to a slight change in perspective).
Thanks for a good (and slightly challenging) hide, in a spot that we love!

We headed out today to find caches that fitted with the Wonders of the World souvenirs and this was one of them. We were pleased to be able to cross the rivulet, the water was still high but stepped across on the stones to the concrete and then the path. A nice stroll to GZ and a well stocked cache was found. I’ve often admired this cliffs from the road, so it was nice to have an extra incentive to get up close with them.
I experimented with a couple of parking spots before finding one on the corner of Mountain Road.
A lovely still (if cold) day for a stroll by the creek to the well hidden but easy to find cache.
Thanks

Thanks for the cache koalabinski.
Despite there still being frost on the ground whilst the GeoGSP and I walked to GZ, we passed quite a few muggles on the track. We hadn't been here before, so it was really nice to walk past these cliffs. It was a quick find, sign and return of the cache in between muggles from both directions. Thanks for bringing us here.

Hi koalabinski,
TFTFTF,
EeePees told me about these two caches last night and I said lets go.
This morning I woke up at 6:00am with a blood nose so then I cleaned up and read my book for 20 minutes. EeePees came and asked, 'do you want to find those two caches at Allen's Rivulet?'
I then had breakfast and we headed off. A nice walk and find after another FTF on 'Allen's Rivulet Track.'
Joint FTF with EeePees at 8:15am.
Thanks again,
KingSmev

hi koalabinski, thanks for the cache.
Joint FTF with KingSmev at 8:15am Saturday 30th May 2020.
Resisted the temptation to head out last night, but it got the better of me this morning, so I hurried up KingSmev, and we were finally on the way.
I'd driven *Aliens* Rivulet Road many times, and although I believe that there may have been a cache hereabouts previously (and before I started geocaching) it's finally taken geocaching to get me to stop and explore these cliffs, so many thanks for that. Merit there for a fav!
Thanks indeed for the two new caches here.
I was starting to think we'd be in the line of sight from a nearby farmhouse, but then realised there was a nice tree providing some privacy!
Another fairly quick find, another empty logbook, and another impressive stash of "swag" (still loving your note ).
Cheers, EPs
