Heading south with Heihei, along with most of New Zealands cachers, for the Dunedin Mega.After a day of caching with bruzie, CrystalFairy, & GreenGecko1; it was time to pick up Heihei and find some food.This was a quick after dinner find, going around the block for Heihei and CrystalFairy to walk off their dinner

Down for the MEGA with Supernannny and Net61 collecting some caches on the way. A nice quick stop here, where we found the cache in the first place we looked. TFTC

After attending the opening event, and eating at a nearby Cafe, a cache was on out radar, so off we went and found it. Log all good and signed here. TFTC.

In town for the mega, and headed out for a bike ride along here today. A nice quick find between passing muggles, TFTC

I didn't expect to get many GC during my short business trip to Dunedin but today was actually really good! With a run in the morning and a long lunch break at midday, I was able to find quite a few. I like Dunedin, after this one we had a walk over the Uni campus, really cool.

So lange und so weit weg von zu Hause war ich noch nie. Eine aufregende Zeit.Beim Geocaching lag der Focus auf viele unterschiedliche Cachetypen, aber auch besondere Wertungen, Challenges und besonders ein paar sehr alte Caches aus den Jahren 2000 und 2001. Aber auch natrlich ganz besonders die Geocaches, die zu Fu vom Hotel aus gut erreichbar waren.Natrlich wurde stand aber nicht nur das Geocaching im Mittelpunkt, sondern auch die Sehenswrdigkeiten der einzelnen Stationen, die wir besuchten, verdienten ihre Aufmerksamkeit.In die Logbcher trugen wir uns mit unserem Teamnamen "Downunder 2024" ein, Logbuchplatz sparend und effizient.Es war eine ganz besondere Reise im groen Team, das auch sehr viel Spa gemacht hat.Heute ging es mit dem Bus von Christchurch ber Oamaru und Moeraki weiter nach Dunedin.Danke fr diesen Geocache. Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna.To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well.This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Originally we planned to go to Queenstown and return to the cruise ship in the Milford Sound. Unfortunately it was cancelled due to the weather conditions tomorrow . Nice walk and an easy find, but definitely need stealth on the main road

Log replaced, although the old log seemed to have dried out nicely, however it was pretty full.

People werent kidding, that paper do be wet.

The big mission of today day was to break my record of most finds in 1 day. I started in the morning from Larnach Castle, after spending the night there. Unfortunately, the weather was really bad for part of the day but I persisted nonetheless, going on a geocaching hunt through the wind and rain, on my bike! After going down Highcliff Road into the city, I spent a lot of time in the city centre, ticking off all adventure labs there. Then through the botanical gardens and onto the steepest street in the world, which I managed to ride all the way up in 3 'stints' . To finish off I grabbed some more tradies at the waterfront and just before midnight I called it a night. I'm not sure if I broke the record yet, since I'm only logging all finds at the moment .Btw, sorry to all CO's, I did not manage to actually sign all logs, since my fingers were sometimes so cold, I had no strength to open some tight containers. Rest assured, I actually found all containers and enjoyed the full day hunt a lot! Also sorry for this generic log for all caches, making it a little bit easier for myself, since I found so many. All finds were relatively easy, mostly because of the hints, thanks for that. All DNF's were either taking too much time so I had to move on, or were very probably missing.Many thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining! FP's rewarded for the ones I especially enjoyed!

A busy day leads to needing to cache later at night than I'd intended. Luckily, I'd saved up this one for an evening, as that's one of the few times where it's plausible to safely grab it. Waited for a couple of staff and passers-by to leave, dove in, found this where once was a spider. All tucked back safe and sound - tftc!In regards to the cache's theme, both my parents, myself, and 2/3 of my siblings have graduated (or will) from Otago - lots of history for our family here!

Nonostante questo arriviamo a oltre 20000....5 Giornomattina presto ci facciamo 2 ore e mezza di monopattino in giro per Lab poi partiamo per Dunedin per cercare le cache storiche che ci interessano. Qualche sosta obbligatoria a cache di elevato valore statistico allietano il viaggio !!! A short stay near by bought me here for a quick find, cache in hand and log signed. The outer lid was missing but inner all ok. Tftc

It was early in the morning when I paid my visit. This made for easy parking and being able to look with no one else around. TFTC

Last time here I was with eve07 and her caching wee dog. So while the students were patting the dog, I was able to sign the log for us. This time round, I was on my own and pleased the weather was not good as not that many people around. Still felt very exposed but log was signed and put back.
