Came back to have another look for this cache after someone else found it. The vines had taken over the area where the trees had been cleared. Saw where last finder had looked in 2 spots and located the cache. Signed and returned to where I found it. Thanks Miss Direction. All good with this cache and puzzle.
Weve attempted these Potter Puzzles in the past and struggled on pretty much all of them, however, we managed to get this one solved fairly quickly but that DNF turned us off attempting it.Fast forward who knows how long and here we are attempting it. The only reason we contemplated attempting it was we had to drop one of the kiddies off at a friends house around the corner, so we thought wed give it a go.We arrived at GZ and said wed only give it a couple of minutes. We took a look at the hint and checked over GZ for anything that could be related to that. I did find a very promising spot but after a quick dig nothing of interest presented itself so we moved onto the next best spot and yet again, nothing!Judging by the previous log it sounded like GZ was cleared of everything but it didnt look like that when we were here. We decided to have a look at some photos from some previous logs and tried to match up the surroundings, and sure enough, nothing matched, was it cleared after all, I wasnt convinced one bit.We were close to giving up but the only spot that went along with the hint kept me intrigued so I went back over and had a more thorough search, well well well, what do we have here, its a container that resembles a cache, ohh, and heres another, two caches? Indeed I popped them both open and sure enough there was plenty of names on one and several on the other so we popped all the logs in one cache a removed the other. What a pleasant surprise that was, so yes. The cache is indeed here and waiting to be found. Thanks for bringing us here.#4194 - TFTC
Finally solved it. Farmer has cleared all the forest from fence edge. Thanks for the hunt. 5 to solve and 7 to find including this one.
After visiting the Sunday Market at the Caboolture Showgrounds we walked back to camp and had some lunch. In the afternoon we headed out with a focus on the Harry Potter series, but of course picked up a few traditionals that crossed our path on the way. We got all bar one on our travels and had a successful if at times eventful day.

Found with the Wadda Mooli team. Peppa and Patrol 14 ventured in for this one and returned with some friends, A LOT of friends, soooo many friends.
Removing new friends from pants, shoes, socks, legs took longer that finding the cache in the first place. Good thing as a responsible Designated Driver I safely stayed in the car watching and warning of oncoming cars and possible Muggles

Another playday with Peppa, PirateLinda, and Davinells finding caches to help DV reach a milestone.
A bit of deciphering and what was needed into the checker and we had finals.
At GZ we finally located the cache then after signing tried another spot and found another container and cache... signed both and placed them together in its hide. 2 for the price of one.
Found on 27 May 2022. TFTC, Miss_Direction.

Out for the day with PirateLinda, Patrol14 and Davinells with the goal of getting numbers for an upcoming Milestone… With the Urban Safari starting in Petrie tomorrow we decided to target Caboolture and surrounds…
Logs signed Wadda Mooli, WM, PL - P14 - DAV - Peppa or some combination of all of them…
After some study, I got the required answer… at gz though we were stumped for awhile as Geepers just wouldn’t settle…
Eventually moving something we spotted a container… then in the process of returning it we found a second container with the aforementioned broken outer container…. Put it all together and added a little camo…

Out and about in Caboolture today with Peppa, patrol14 and PirateLinda chasing numbers to reach our next milestone.
This was a good series to target to help reach our goal. Tftc

Replaced the inner container here I might come back soon with a more fitting outer container
I had a couple of early morning meetings and then free time for the afternoon. As I was already on the northside I decided to go for a little drive and finish off the last piece of the towers adventure lab in Caboolture. From there I headed out to grab a few of the harry potter series, plus a couple others that I may pass.
What a nice area, I never knew this area existed or the plantations along the way; strawberry farms, pineapple farms and even a lawn grass farm, thank you for bringing me out here.
This was the next cache of the series for me and it was an easy find. Looking around I found the cache however the outer container was in pieces and the inner container was a little damp and was still able to sign the log. I tried my best to replace it all with a little extra covered without burying it in debris. Thank you for the cache.

In the area today picking up some caches and this was one of them. Parked nearby and once at GZ made a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

A bit of research, and we soon had the possible answers narrowed down for this one.
A green light meant we were able to head to the finals on our day out north of Brisbane. Log signed.
Thanks Miss_Direction. An awesome series of puzzles and great hides.

TFTC Nice easy find for me. Double thank you. Enjoying the series finds, puzzles not so much enjoyment but I respect the trouble and time taken to set the puzzles up.
A lovely drive finding our way around the country roads this morning collecting smileys for the puzzles we have solved so far in this series. I only solved two of the clues and with a lot of help from Google had the ok from the checker. At GZ we spotted the container after collecting a lot of those annoying grass seed things that just stick to clothing! . Log signed and cache replaced as found. All good with this one. Thanks Miss_Direction for the puzzle and the cache..
Another trip out today to find some more caches that I have had some help to solve the puzzles.
Parked up very close to GZ and geowife spotted the cache before I had even got the GPS to work - mind you it wasn't hard because they were out in the open. Sign the log and returned with a little camo on the top. TFTC Miss_Direction

Out for an adventure with mum for the morning and the Harry Potter’s were the sole focus. We had a wonderful time talking about plans, upcoming trips and just generally having a natter
Today we decided that we had attempted enough Little Bird and we headed off in a different direction. We have found ourselves doing another series, The Harry Potter Puzzles. Most of these we solved ourselves but a few we had help with from friends. All the caches we attempted were found bar one. We will return to this one. All caches were in good condition. SL TFTC
We may have been a bit lucky in the order of the hints we solved. We definitely didn’t have to solve them all before the correct words could be deduced. Thanks Miss D for another creative puzzle. Good to be able to add our name to the log.
Day 5 camped at the Caboolture showgrounds.
This Harry Potter series we had planned when we arrived but just getting around to find them today.
The tarck into # 1 was so wet & was the only one we did not attempt. The puzzles were completed a few months ago, I had not read any Harry Potter books & had only seen advertising shorts on TV.
Thankyou Miss_Direction for placing this cache.

Our Accio spell must have been wearing off when we arrived at this GZ, as we started hunting in the wrong spot. Hmm? Oh, look, there’s the geotrail.... Scabbers! Is that you? Haha! Mischief managed, on to the next one.
Thanks for the cache Miss_Direction

After a lovely weekend at Somerset Nyssaflutterby and I were headed home and as we had unexpectedly ended up with no children, we decided we should spent the afternoon caching.
We had a lovely lunch in Caboolture at Gather and Feast then headed out for some Harry Potter caches. Accio caches!!

The last of the Potter series for us. So glad the puzzles were worked and we had the opportunity to come to this area while staying not too far away. This cache also found by geohubby while I turned the car around. Found that watering was in progress at the end of the road on some newly planted strawberries. Yum! Returned to GZ to pick up Bob and then we needed to urgently return to camp as it was soon to be dark.
Cheers and thanks Miss Direction!

Found at 3:01 PM GAFF1.
Last cache for the day and for the series. This series took a lot longer to complete but we enjoyed the tour and the puzzles.
Thanks Miss_Direction.
Feedback: A nice set up with the container, however it is saturated.

I teamed up with E-Smiley this morning to hunt down the caches for this series.
I had a lot of fun but also needed a fair bit of help solving the puzzles. All caches were found easily and are in great conditions.
Thanks for the fun series and showing me this nice area!

Oh my some poor creature was well on the path of decay nearby and we all tried to speed up the find as breathing was becoming difficult. I found it in the spot Mr W had already looked. His smell and eyesight but be mutually joined and both were off!
I was the last one to get out of the car and noted the two woodys and Gcoven on the road, doubled over and dry retching. Also noted that no one was pointing at another so it must be an external pong source.
By the time I did finally get out of the car, my caching friends had already inhaled all toxic fumes into their lungs and the incoming air was humid but pong free. But just in case, I strategically had the cachers between me and the pong source, in what you'd term a filtration system.
All good with the puzzle solve and the find, thanks Miss_Direction.

As soon as jumped out of the cars we were greeted by the stank of death. We couldn’t see what the cause was, so it must have been big because there was no avoiding it. You know its strong when even your eye-balls can smell it. I had been holding in a liquor bomb for some time and this was the natural camo needed to let it out.
Normally when you are entangled in a bad smell, you can walk 10-15 metres away and the air becomes clear. This decaying scent was fighting a war with our nostrils no matter where we went. It just added weight to my hypothesis that FD (or fart-drag) is a constant. My theory is that no matter the meteorological conditions like wind (sorry, just laughing at my own lame and accidental double entendre) you can let one rip and walk the same distance and still smell it.
I think its important for the scientific community and the future of humanity to measure the constant of fart-drag to the nearest centimetre. I have been applying for government grants for some time but those narrow-minded bureaucrats in Canberra keep rejecting them. I also need to know exactly how far away from my wife I have to be in bed when nature calls to save my marriage. tftc

Making my way back down the coast with hatzofff and RoddyC & spending a few days in the local area to do some geoart puzzles and others in between.
All hides were found relatively easy and apart from a few wet logbooks that we changed where we could, caches were in good condition.
Apologies for the generic logs CO's, thanks for placing for everyones enjoyment.

The HP puzzles have been sitting on the map for some time. So today off I went on a mission to find all of Harry’s lost treasure. And to honest, as definitely not a potterhead, got a lot more out of the hunt than the mysteries Logged 14/15, ‘tho I went back again to the DNF. Fun day wandering around the backroads

Out today on a mission with OBC and mini-OBC. Swung by here for the next of over 120 finds today. Being a fan of the books I liked the themed containers on the Potter Puzzles, and the themed puzzles. Nice job.
Thanks Miss_Direction for entertaining me at this location.

Out and about on a power trail today - targeting the Roses geoart (wahoo! highly recommended), the Potter Puzzles geoart, and the Hamilton power trail. It was a long but fantastic day with myself, Pprime (P') and mini oz_bean_counter, and the logs were signed as OP'X to reflect this. Started at 4 am with a check on the US election progress, in the car by 4.45 am and the first cache by 5.30 am. Home and dead tired 12 hours later, where wine and pizza were necessary to refuel the body before I crashed for the night. I was delighted to end the day with 124 finds (plus 5 DNFs, and revisited 2 caches) - a new daily record for me. I was really really happy to be celebrating that achievement with family and good friends.
Thanks for all the COs for their time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches. Apologies for the generic log.

My poor brain hurt solving these puzzles and I had to ask for lots of guidance from my puzzle solving geo-friend. Anyone who isn't a massive Harry Potter fan should probably add a point or two to the difficulty level. One consolation was that the caches themselves were easy to find and not too many micros among them
Thanks Miss_Direction for the puzzles and the caches.

Another smilie collected here after some work to solve the puzzle. I never knew there was so much information out there on Harry Potter characters! Tftc and the puzzle Miss_Direction
Love love love the themed cache containers!!! The geo Miss particularly enjoyed this puzzle and then we got to share the fun with geohub at GZ. This series is so worth driving an hour for! Next time we'll come just for these and make a day of it in the area. Thanks again Jen and Ash for creating the trail and all the work you put into it. Your containers are always clever We put the log inside the bag, inside the container, as it was getting a bit wet.

Wednesday. Wonderful easy puzzle to solve and only costs a bit of time really to sort out the bits and pieces. The usual solvers work and as I pulled up to GZ, I saw a small geo trail already! Crickey. Saw some foot skids and knew I was in the right location. Only a cacher would think that . Spotted the cache container and signed the log. Super cute themed cache container so am awarding another FP for the time spent and the great cache container, plus puzzle. A couple of busy workers walked in front of me down the road, but couldn’t have cared less about me. Bit smelly here though - I reckon the farmers are all out using fertiliser or something today . Good to see Anthony came in use!
This was the 5th of 5 caches found on this outing.

The plan for today was to seek out some Witches Hats but as we had done a few quick solves on these we thought a slight detour was in order.
None of the 6 were logged as found when we set out but as we got closer they began to fall, one by one.
Nevermind, we'll still grab a few smilies before getting back on course for the Hats.

6th of 21 found today.
Mrs VC was quick to solve this one soon after it was published.
As we approached GZ we spotted quite obvious signs of recent activity ... trampled grass, a broken branch & several heavy footprints where leaf mulch had been displaced ... leading to an obvious hiding place.
Quick find, left TB.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Another fun puzzle - and these I can wrangle the muggle husband into helping me with mwahahaha. This took longer than expected, but with the two of us investigating, we finally came up with a green light.
At GZ, the neighbours drove past a couple of times, so I pulled out my academy award winning stretching technique like I'd been on a long drive and needed a break. Once the coast was clear I scooted over and made the grab. Cool container that I didn't want to drop, so jumped back in the car for the signing duties. Lucky I did because here come the neighbours again! Once they were out of eyesight I dashed back to GZ and replaced. The rain started to get a little heavier at this point and I still needed to get to work, so called it a day while on a high
