Logs
replaced containers with new ones, the new log is in the bag, a few swaps not in the bag.
Pretty good find it easy enough but the log sheet was taken Ill take a photo for you
Fantastic hide. Log book quite full but managed to find a spot since it was so cleverly done.
We're spending a few days at Charters Towers and taking the opportunity to find a few of the caches around the area. Just before we started destructive testing on the contents, I spotted something that was a little suspicious. Bingo!
A favorite point because you nearly had us there!
Thanks for find #4773

It was easy to find however it was definitely not micro and yes where was the log sheet
There are reasons for the name and the words in the description name. Checked on cache and log is in there with 1/4 left on the flip side. Removed paper from last finder and discovered trackable.
Put a peice a paper in there for logging as no log book to write on,dropped tb
After a break for lunch, Konie and I decided to head out to the weir. As we were passing by, we stopped off to make a quick find here. Log signed, everything returned as found, then we were on our way again. TFTC
In the area with Selva Girls today picking up some caches around town and this was one of them. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and once the log was signed all was returned as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

Lol nice SPOR, BUT we were hoping to find a book library because this GC sounded like it was based on one of the geo-munchkins favourite prep books
Found by MissCharlieBear (while AmazingGracieGrace looked on from the comfort of air/con).

Checked on this one today and there is log space on the B side. Container is still ok despite sun. The log is there, trick is to find it!
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 78. Charters Towers Day 1. After a restless night and an early wake due to some very noisy birds, I headed off for a days caching. I finished the caches along the Gregory Highway and went out to the weir and threw in a few pirate caches as well. Apart from lots of grass and associated seeds, the day went smoothly and I was home in time for a late lunch and some logging.
The last leg of my trip today was out to the weir. Two caches along the way added to the enjoyment of the drive. Although I found the correct container quickly, I managed to flick the log out, and it took me five minutes to find it, so an aptly named cache ...

We found the cache, and it lived up to its cache name. It did make us stop and look... tftc
We decided to start caching a little bit earlier than usual - best decision ever as it started showering later in the morning and then it just rained all afternoon.
We completed the tribe series as well as many other interesting caches north of Charters Towers.
Thanks to the CO's for placing these caches.

Out and about today caching along this road and finding a number of caches. The weather looks like it will rain later on, so we need to find them quickly. Found the cache and then moed onto the next one. TFTC
TFTC. Today we were leaving Townsville after a week enjoying the Mega and caching. We planned to head back to Maryborough via Charters Towers and Emerald. We joined up with Richmond Lad and JooJoo57 to cache our way to Charters Towers with a detour to Ravenswood. A successful day with 30 finds and one DNF.
In town for the mega, using caching as a guide to show us the best of what the region has to offer.

Townsville Mega Day Four.
Having negotiated the Maze, I’m off to Charters Towers for the day.
Having completed the virtual at the end of the road, I’m working my way back to town. Having read the description, I had an idea of what I might be up against here, but this was fairly easy, got it on the fourth go.
Thanks Cachedin NQ.

We had just finished a quick dash up a mountain to help out a fellow cacher with a tribute cache, when we got a notification of this new virtual cache that had just been published. Oh it is in Charters towers. We thought Townsville to charters towers is about 1 hour, all those who are usually of charters towers are in Townsville tonight. Hmmm, good chance we could grab this one, so we took the gamble and headed off on our drive.
With the success of the find, we decided to try our luck again and grab a couple others on the way out. this one was a good find for us in the dark. Thanks for the cache and with the log signed and cache replaced as found we were off to the next one.

After a mad dash from Townsville to Charters to collect a new virtual cache, we stopped in to collect a couple more on the way back - there's always time for more right?
A quick find here by torchlight.
Thanks Cachedin NQ for the cache.

Day 11 of the long road trip from Western Australia to Townsville, Queensland.
Today was caching south of Charters Towers then north of the town where a first to find was jagged before returning and caching within Charters Towers. The second Adventure Lab and associated Bonus cache was also completed.
This cache was found without problems. Log signed and the cache returned as it was found.

Powerful cache container. Nice
Before the end of the year I wanted to get some more caches done to boost my stats a little more and to finally get out there and grab some boxes after having had a bit of a break the last two months. In fact, I would like to clear most of the caches I have not found so far in Charters Towers today. Thank you very much Cachedin NQ for placing this cache. All caches around Charters Towers have a nice little rural spin to them and I really enjoyed driving around and seeing a lot of nice things today. Thanks for the cache and showing this area.

After a bit of joint sorting and searching we found the log and signed it. Lucky we had seen something similar before!
After a great campfire meal last night at the van park we are staying at, and an even better nights sleep, we have set out to find the caches around the weir. Just a quick deviation at the local market where we picked up a homemade apple pie, fruitcake and some hedgehog and we were on our way. What a lovely community Charters Towers has, with some fantastic spots to visit and history to learn about.
We would like to thank all of the local CO’s for putting out all the caches we have found. We read only a few days ago that while the numbers of people who are geocaching is growing, the number hiding caches is actually falling. So as we regularly say, the CO’s are the most important part of the geocaching world. Without you we would have nothing. You have our sincere appreciation.

Just 17 finds today. We have almost come to the end of our stay in Charters Towers. Last night we had a great "catch up" with the locals. Today we thought it would be nice to attempt the local power trail and then head out to the weir. We got side tracked on our way back and logged a couple more.
We awarded this cache a favourite point for the deviousness.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache pretty close to where the GPS said he should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
Thanks for the hunt today,

With a greyfire326 who was super over geocaching already and was hungry. I quickly ducked out of the car to grab this one. I heard that a cache like this tricked Burgo78 once. It was a happy day for me.

Managed to find the log sheet, love the hide for it. Have chucked in some geo kid swag and nabbed a really cool hat pin from another cacher. Thanks so much for this.
We'ird things happen out along this road
Like finding out of the ordinary,
aka we'ird caches
As expected,
opening the cache revealed a cornucopia of logbook concealments [:o]
Lucky fer me the first thing I checked revealed a familiar looking logbook container
Sorry !!
You can't fool me with that ... anymore
But still a favourite point for trying [^]

Once we had tipped the contents onto the car seat we soon realised where the log was hidden

For the last 2 days we have covered the four corners of the region.
We have found such a good variety of caches in some incredible locations, this has been a wonderful way to tour the town.

*FTF* Imagine my surprise when I drive into town after being away for 4 days celebrating to see this new cache unfound. Risked unpacking the car but soon was at GZ. Wow what a treasure trove of items... now where are you little log sheet. I must admit I am unashamedly drawn to red herrings. Brilliant hide! TFTC Cachedin NQ and for the awesome trackable
