Mystery sleuth found the remains of the cache which has been chewed up by some landscape work at GZ. Hard to know if it had fallen from its perch before or after the work. The container is quite damaged and needs replacing although we had also found the log nearby which was surprisingly dry. Tftc and I hope Greyhound racing is abolished soon.

Found cache on the ground broken, looked around and found the bag and log. Log was in good condition and replaced bag. Not sure where its meant to go.Photo sent to the CO of where I put it back. Can the CO please check and replace broken cache.TFTC

So blacktownman - great job in doing some sort of maintenance after a nudge that there was something wrong since September 2022! - even if it was from a very conscientious local cacher to help you out. I bet nothing would have been done to replace the broken lid container for months until the log book would have been mush! So you can thank me for the shove if you wish

thanks to ozglory for there efforts in checking and adding a new cache container for me. the old cache was still there and only missing the lid, and the log was dry.

y pprass requested archive is beyond me as i been told he is in vic right now and hasnt checked location recently

Can’t find

It appears that no one wants to give this cache a "Needs Archive" or "Needs Maintenance" - but it needs some attention according to the previous logs!

So according to pprass it needs archiving cause 1 person couldnt find it and another says it needs a new lid all within 2 months. Prior to that nothing really wrong. If ppl would stop taking my hides and replacing them with inferior hides away from original place there wouldnt be a problem. NOW STOP STEALING MY HIDES. I will be up there as soon as i can to fix it again for the last time. If thats not suitable then archive it like pprass wants. I bet soon as it is archived he will have a cache in that same location.

Over grown hard to find

Didn't quite make it to GZ by car, but a short walk had us there. The cache was soon spotted.

After a quiet day yesterday in and around camp where we walked on the beach and enjoyed a coffee it was time to make use of the good weather and head out for some caching again.
Today we headed out to Crescent Head, a beautiful place and then back to Kempsey with Adventure Labs, the odd puzzle and multis and trads on the agenda.
The weather was lovely and a most enjoyable day had, although some of the caches were tough going in the bush.

Hmm. Nice one. I didn't know greyhounds were dishlickers. I thought it was all dogs. Never mind, there is a dishlicker meeting here, so I spoke to a few owners. I grabbed the cache between walking dishlickers. TFTC.

My son and I found this quite easily it was our first find so quite exciting

Found whilst driving from Canberra to Balinna, stopped at Kempsey overnight and grabbed a few caches. TFTC.

We had a delightful couple of days away staying at SWR. It was good to catch up with the local cachers in the area, something we haven't been able to do since Covid 19 started.
our 1st day was back to Kempsey to locate a few caches that had recently been replaced plus a couple of new hides.
