I wasn't hopeful given the previous logs but walked out regardless thinking it possibly was hidden behind a branch I couldn't see. Cable tie and bent key ring still in place but no cache. Photo attached... will need maintenance.
Once back at the car from my walk over the other side of the river, I headed down for this one. Reading the description I had a good idea of where it was going to be, however I wanted to see it before I approached.....and that was my issue. Couldn't see for looking. One area did look promising, however as much as I squinted, I couldn't make the cache out.
Thanks anyway DE....will come back with another set of eyes.

Once spotted we decided to grab another find first in case this caper went wrong! On return the_proton made it look easy. Thanks for the clever hide!
Spotted the cache from afar while searching a different GZ. Aha! Well we’ll get that after the one up the hill. On the way back I headed to retrieve the cache and shortly had it in hand. After it was signed returned it to where we started and we were done! TFTC!
Was barking up the wrong tree at first, then turned around and saw the cache, nice clever spot. TFTC
Well, I actually did find it, saw it from the opposite angle but quickly realised it was not for this tottery one today. Absolutely where it should be, both GPS and phone spot on - might have to wait until I can coerce either geo-grandson or muggle daughter to hold my hand - maybe!
This is my favourite cache!! What a cool little adventure. This spot is one one of my regular walks and never paid attention to this part the log was a bit wet so i left it out for 20 mins to dry
Tried to make a quick recovery to avoid the ants while trying not to drop the cache or fall in. Thought I had made it but somehow managed to bring a couple of the critters back to the car. TFTC Dwarf Exploder.
Out caching with Decrypter. Binliner was meant to be here too, but his car unfortunately broke down, so it was just two of us. This was our second cache find today. The cache was not immediately found, but spotted when in the right place. We saw a stick insect on the way back to the car. TFTC Dwarf Exploder.
I had to find a daily cache and thought a trip to the Southside was in order.
I parked in the carpark and walked the short way to GZ. I was not happy to see all the ants that have been mentioned when I arrived. That just added another notch up on the D/T.
It was an easy enough to get to the cache and sign the log, I just had to ignore the ants. It was a lot of fun. Tftc Dwarf Explorer!!!

My apologies, as I tried to get the ants off me (almost slipping in [:p]), I managed to drop the log . However, I managed to retrieve it before it got too wet so it should be okay for the next finder. The ants were certainly a menace for me . TFTC
After a find in Isabella Plains and Gordon after work was keen for maybe 1 more find before heading home. Glad I ducked out to this one as thought it was a good hide. Also glad that the ants were more interested in where they were going than climbing aboard my boots and me. TFTC
Got it!!!! Yay!!!! I don’t often get to do the adventurous monkey business at the moment but this one was right at my level scooted out and made the find and I didn’t even get wet. A fun final cache with Fitzy and Minniek before the rain returns. Thanks for the cache.
Headed into Canberra with fitzy_1965 to do a bit of caching with nibletricecakes.
Last one for the day. We were making it a bit harder until we read previous logs and searched a little wider.
NRC did the honours here.

21,845. Found with minniek and Nibletricecakes during a short caching run this afternoon.
After a big days caching yesterday, minniek and I went on a more sedate tour today targeting a few special caches. Picked up nibletricecakes and grabbed a few caches that I'd already done, then headed south. This one caught our eye, and so we parked about 200m away and headed on down. We got distracted on one side and tree first, but then the sharp-eyed Nibletricecakes spotted a likely hide which proved correct. She went out on a limb and made the find.
Thanks Dwarf Exploder !!

GeoKid did the traverse, signed log and came away dry. Great cache - thank you!

Solo caching this morning. After visiting Fishing Gap (and beyond), I dropped by here on my return. Cache easily found, but a fun one to find. TFTC.

After finding weird weir point hut just nearby, it was a short walk to this cache. What a spot for this cache to be hidden, one day the cache might end up in the drink if a big wall of water comes, but now my goal was to become a monkey and traverse the natural bridge to get to cache. Highly rewarding. Tftc

after finishing our ftf hunt we where back in the area stopped here for lunch and this was near by.
Decided to have a mid-week day off, and as the weather looked good for geocaching.
Found with Strange Trousers
thanks Dwarf Exploder

A nice little wander down the bike path to grab this one. Once at GZ, the cache name made absolute sense. Found with Chocolistick03. Signed as OK + CL3, TFTC.
With a few hours spare this afternoon we undertook a lovely 8km walk in the gorgeous winter sunshine.
Quick and easy find with an opportunity for a photo or two of some lovely outlooks. A fun find across the water. TFTC Dwarf Exploder.

Was pretty disappointed not being able to find Croc Attack in it's short lived life at this location! I was in the area ready to find it just after it was disabled, and was then in the area many times after that and was keeping a close eye on it! Ahhh well appreciate a new cache being published instead, as I have actually never been here before and didn't realise there was an abandoned road! So that was pretty darn cool in itself!
Went out on a Limb, and found this geocache. Ahhh one of these rare / cool bisons again! Love it
Thanks for the fun! I enjoyed this location and little adventure

Found with The Matetrix. A quick stroll to a familiar site. Didn’t take long for a careful find, sign and replace. From the carpark and back we spotlighted three wombats and two possums. Interesting smell out this way too. TNLNSL TFTC
Out for a walk to regain fitness after knee replacement surgery.

Easy find for this cache while in the area scouting out locations for my new caches. Signed the logbook dsd and made it back to shore without getting wet.
# 6212 Found after a fun morning up in the snow at Corin. A nice day to be out with the Importunity team from Sydney. I found the original version of this and remembered it was a lot of fun. The kids had fun accessing this one and nobody got wet.
Thanks DE

Felt like we were sailing the seven seas! Log signed with brother cacher Strange Trousers. Tftc
I had a day off so wanted to get out of the house for a walk and a bit of caching. I walked along the river here on both sides and found a great collection of caches along the way. The off track sections were a bit rough with some big holes to look for, but at least it was dry.
Thanks for the cache Dwarf Exploder

Chooo ooo - found! I was here once before hunting crocs! So decided to come back today / but no crocs today! Thanks DE!
After finishing work as a volunteer at the RSCPA headed home. It took nearly an hour before I could download the intended caches, it usually takes about 2 minutes. Once complete, headed out for a number of DSD's new caches. As this cache was nearby I completed it as well, having done the previous cache that was here. All found. TFTC.
Nice camo has it blending in well .
Very green in the area at present and plenty of water as well .
Good to see the crocs have been eradicated since I was last here .
Many thanks to Dwarf Exploder .

I never quite got around to doing the 'Croc Attack' cache, but I can imagine that it would have been fun! I also pause to contemplate what will happen if that floating croc head makes its way downstream and bobs past an unsuspecting swimmer...
Anyway, this newer iteration is in itself a neat hide that is well worth a visit!

It's not so long since I found the Croc cache - sad to see it's gone. But I agree it's too good a place not to use for a geocache! This one was easy enough to collect again, and I was able to avoid falling into the river.
Thank you for the cache (again!)
