A busy spot as you say and a quick find once the code was broken! As others have mentioned, the container has lost its top although still seems in good condition. TFTC

Summer Geocaching Road Trip - Day 4 - In and around Gisborne. It's been a while since I've been off on a road trip and this one has been on the cards for quite a while. I plan to visit some parts of the country where I've done very little caching before and hope to complete the qualification for a challenge cache in Nelson. Took a bit of concentration to spot this one but it was all good in the end. TFTC, Biggles.

A nice quick find. The cache has no lid, but a convenient piece of camo. Thanks for placing and maintaining your cache.

Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Today we cruised from Gisborne to Whakatane. The weather was fine mostly but there was a small amount of rain as we headed down the Waioeka Gorge.

No one around so managed to have a good look & locate the cache & sign.

TFTC quick find finally

Quite a hard place to search discreetly.
I wasn't too sure what the clue referred to but it was a straight forward find anyway.

After stopping briefly to fuel the van and get some food into us, we were keen to get back into our list of possible caches to find. Gratefully this one did not eluded me, I must have my mojo back! TFTC

Took a while to find. Dispite the size of cache being listed "large" it is very tiny. Tip for future discoveries, Its not on the road

Found after a good 10 minutes searching. Surprised no muggle children have found and made off with this one

We are on a campervan tour up to Gisbourne and return.

Found this one with 2Bulbars , clever hide but we spent far too long here did not sort the hint out.

On the way back into town after caching all around. Dark already so we thought it's a perfect time for it to be muggle free. Correct! But also not the best lighting for finding a cache. Took a while and we had to retrace where we had already "looked".

This one took a wee while to find. I finally made the find after a thorough search in the dark. Might be easier in daylight but maybe not. Favourite point from me.
Malinkaly and I planned a road trip to go to the MEGA but Covid has postponed the event again. We decided to continue on with our planned journey making adjustments as we go with the ever-changing travel restrictions.

Just needed a closer look!

OMG IT IS LITERALLY LOOKING AT YOU!

A plan was hatched recently to hit the Gisborne area this weekend. Nice to get away after the recent lockdown and grab some smiles. Signed logs Team BoP to save room on log sheets. Awesome to find after so many DNFs.

I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

TeamBOP are together again after lockdown decided to head to Gisborne for a day trip we have a list of 60 caches to get today. TeamBOP consists of myself, McJandals, Squirrel Nutcase and Fap and Gap. Had an early start of 4am today arriving into Gisborne at 730am. Thanks for all the hides. This took us a little be of time to locate but we weren’t going to be defeated.

With (Mr) Davidson clan, Gap (of Fap and Gap), and McJandals. We planned a Gisborne roadtrip in August to get a jump on the Reach the Peak challenge, but Covid-19 lockdowns stuffed up our plans. As soon as levels allowed for it, our outing was back on the table. Today’s one-day mission meant getting up and away by 4AM…

We do like the challenge of finding caches that have had previous multiple DNFs. We launched into an intensive search and focused on the obvious. With a limited number of options, this hide started to look ominous. But VITUS REPULSAE NESCIA - Ignorant of defeat… Gap touched on something we’d overlooked. Thanks sara.andrew21 and TFTC.

Always interesting when you come to a cache that has had several did not finds.
this was one of them and after the other team members had looked and no find it was me that
found it nicely tucked away. yes its here all safe and sound.

Whiling searching I came across EWOK. Both unsuccessful in finding this cache.

Having gathered a bit more information about this cache I headed out there again to try and turn my frown of 2 months ago into a smilie. I was successful.

Out walking the dog and thought I would go a bit further and look for this cache. Had never noticed before that the gates were a war memorial. Lots of places to hide the cache but tracked it down in the end. Thanks Sara.

A quick trip to town this morning. We decided to pick up a couple of caches. Teamdj found these ones easy. Nice new caches in town and nice to see caches full of swag.
