Logs
Having friends just across the road, it was obvious that we would grab this when visiting Nowra.
#15151 12:32A long weekend of geocaching away from Sydney. For this long weekend, a group of 8 geocachers descended down upon Callala Beach at Jervis Bay. Each day a different area was selected and all logs were signed with I'M ZEBRA, comprising of the initials of each member of the group. A lengthy search around the duck pond came up empty handed. The large tree has been reduced to mulch and Everest High discovered the old ziplock bag. Decision was taken to replace the container in a spot that matches the hint, only a couple of meters away.It was quite annoying to see the locals having enjoyed a Macca meal but rather than throwing away the rubbish in the garbage bin 5 meters away, they decided to throw it on the ground at the picnic shelter.TFTC
Duck, duck, goose. Solved this puzzle before our journey south for the long weekend. The area around GZ has been trimmed, so we offered up a replacement. TFTC
Ducked into the park and found the trees have been cut down. Found the old Log bag, but no cache container. Have replaced the cache very nearby according to hint. SL as IM ZEBRA. TFTC
Performed cache maintenance on COs behalf after 2 large trees were removed.Had this solved for quite some time, exhausted our search before realising a great deal of time was lost. The decision to replace was made, the hint still matches and we believe its in an ideal spot, thanks Bonfire7
Like the previous cacher frazeydaze and I got the green light from the checker. It appears that the local council has removed a very large tree at gz and replaced it with two small saplings and spread a lot of mulch chipping around. We widened our search but came up empty handed.
Oh that's annoying. A solved puzzle, a rare visit to Nowra and gazzumped by the Council who appear to have removed GZ. I'll send a message to the CO with a pic of the current location. I scratched around just in case, but there's little chance the container is still there.
Nicely themed cache and nice camo hide . Lovely pond in the centre of Nowra . TFTC Bonfire7
Found with Tankengine, dty73, Aquilus1 and Joolay.
After dinner we decided that it was early enough to go caching. Found this one along the way. Kutgw!

Solved before coming here and while it was a bit trickier in the dark managed to find it.
A weekend was planned for the coast to pick up some oldies and a county with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine and Youban. Perfect weather.
Thanks for getting me out and about Bonfire7

Down touring the coast with Tankengine, Youban, Joolay and Aquilus1. We wanted to get away for a bit of fun and didnt expect it to be so much in the sun we planned this trip. But 30 degrees at the beginning of September although nice, is a bit of a climate shock to the body. So hot!Well thats a duck of a cache to find in the dark. I couldnt see it luckily I have a good team. Tftc!!!
Away for the weekend with Joolay, dty73, Tankengine and youban. We had an oldie and an LGA as our target and many others of interest as we passed. It was a beautiful area to visit and the weather was lovely. Many thanks for your cache that added to our enjoyment.
An after dinner find, we looked at a few options before getting to the right one.

Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 youban Joolay and Aquilus1 on a quick Nowra invasion! Thanks Bonfire7!
Another puzzle solved easily at home last night before making the find today; as mentioned in my South Park log I am unfortunately penless today so I’ll come back and sign the log again next time I’m down in a couple weeks sorry!
TFTC Bonfire7! Love the duck park visit; they are my girlfriends favourite animals and it’s obvious why with how cute they are! Thank you for bringing us here! ^_^

Solved this one a while ago and made the find on a return visit to the area. Without having recorded the hint I somewhat lazily looked around then called a PAF, then immediately found it before the PAF got back to me. Always the way! Cool idea for a cypher at this location. TFTC and an FP from me.
After working for ages deciphering lol....
Brought in the big guns thanks danae and clay for climbing underneath

Had to head to Nowra to get some new shoes (busted walking on the sand flats of the river) so decided to head in early and collect a few caches. Mixed success as very busy but got my main aims.
This was my my goal - last visit I had got to GZ but could not access. This morning all was clear so I wandered in and circled, and looked and hunted. Eventually moved something and the cache was found - the camo was smaller than I was expecting. Log signed and on my way.
TFTC Bonfire7- an enjoyable puzzle

Hot this one solved a long time ago and was hoping for the find today. But as I approached GZ two Homeless people were having a discussion over their shopping trolley and I had no time to wait.
Will be back hopefully on another visit.
TFTC anyway Bonfire7 (and I may need to rerun to find the hint again)

I solved the puzzle at home and came to GZ after a good drive around the places we remembered from living here a long time ago. The cache was in a relatively private area, which is always a bonus, although I could be seen by drivers if they bothered to look. Thanks for a fun puzzle and excellent themed hide, I enjoyed this one.
This wasn’t all it was quacked up to be as from the hotel next door (where we were staying for the night) to gz was a very soggy trip on foot. Ducked down to make the funds in what was an appropriate container. tftc
The puzzle was solved soon after the cache was published and filed away; today we took the red dog for a walk, with the aim of finding a few caches too, and stopped off here for a quick find. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Bonfire 7
Found it with WEEO after a search of previous logs showed I was on the wrong track for the puzzle. Right track and the hint made sense.

I somehow only half solved this one in the past but today another look and I had some co-ordinates. Tonight whilst in town popped by and made things harder than they needed to be but did come up with the find. TFTC!
A puzzle I didn't have to rip my hair out to solve, Yay. Bit boggy after the wet but an easy find.

Streak Day #2805 - Heading home today with Dave8153 and made a quick find. TFTC
Find Number 2141 found at 10:43. Today we found 10 regular caches and 5 Lab caches. We had 0 DNFs.
The Victorian family came up for their long weekend and we all headed up to the Highlands to meet with the Robertson family members. I decided to take a leisurely drive and grab some of those caches we don't usually have time to stop for.
I solved this one a long time ago and the green tick has bugged me every time I drove past. This was number one on today's hit list. The coordinates were spot on and the hint made for a quick and easy find.
The log was damp but useable, otherwise the cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks Bonfire7 for the cache.

Finally got around to get this one with cullum68 and mistysoho thanks for the cache
Thanks bonfire for the cache. Out caching with Cullum65 and Nissen68, we had a great day and this is the last cache for the day so gets a fav from me!!
Never realised how much bird life is here. Very secluded spot for such a public location. An interesting puzzle, thanks heaps
A break from the traffic crawl for 5 minutes.this traffic is crazy. Puzzle solved and cache found.
Tried to solve this when published but no go. Offered RH an inducement for a hint. Google revealed quack & duck are computer languages. Nak etc lead me no-where. Looked at the deciphers here & the new series on the Australian site but nope. Then this week found a possibility on a foreign site which had the nak. Up came the coords. Grubbed around GZ when caught a reflection. Signed log. Thanks for the research effort & a rare mystery.

Nice quick find on my home from work.
First spring find for 2020
Log was really wet! Drained water from container & dried off log...helps that paper is that water resistant stuff!

Dan noticed this puzzle a few days after publication and as usual had no idea. He tried looking at the various "words" involved and the variations of punctuation. Anyway, it was too complicated and he gave up. Some time later, whilst trying to solve some other puzzle near Ebenezer or something, he noticed something that he could use with this puzzle. So, all of a sudden the puzzle went from 2hard to 2easy. And they say that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Now, to go out and chase those ducks. Woof woof.
At GZ today we saw Pacific Black ducks, Chestnut Teals, Dusky Moorhens, Australasian Coots and a shopping trolley in the lake.

A week after publication and an immediate quick solve (thanks to a suggestion from the CO about a particular website for another puzzle and wondered if it would help here), was able to add this one to today’s agenda while in town for a friend’s birthday. Made the “quack” grab (technically the 2TF) before enjoying a birthday picnic nearby, sharing with BF7 the reason behind my fascination with cute yellow rubber-duckies and why this gets a favourite point.
I was with the CO at the time of placement.
A neat puzzle and well-themed concepts!
Thanks Bonfire7!

Distracted by that adorable duck, took a few seconds to refocus and come up with a surprisingly quick solution. Hope to grab it when next in town. Quack!
I don't believe it, I actually solved the puzzle AND got a **FTF**!! Great cache, cute container. Thanks Bonfire7!
