Happy 1900th and thank you. Had a wonderful walk around the sculpture trail. Highly recommend!
Very cute li’l cache and an easy find….glad for my gummies and less disastrous than another muddy find a few days ago.
Currently staying at Sandspit and spent the day today walking and caching around Scandrett's Farm and Scott's Landing. A great day out, and happy to grab this one on the way back! TFTC - a very appropriate container - an fp from me
Making the most of a rainy day on tour with Auckland & Beyond. Stopped at the winery for a quick sip and quick grab on the way out. TFTC
A quick easy find in the rain. Cache and contents all good. Thanks for the placement.
This was our last cache of the day as we made our way out from Scott's Landing. One of us got out of the car while the other drove down to turn around. The cache was found and returned by the time the driver was back. Thanks.
Super cool cache, loved the container theme after reading the winery’s name. TFTC!
A few weeks ago I asked rusty where she wanted to have her 8000th cache to land on for her milestone. I knew it was coming up soon. She suggested among other caches Mnt Manaia in Whangarei. My ears pricked up… yes! That’s where we should go Sharon! Mnt Manaia was supposed to be the place my 4000th cache was meant to be back in 2016. But on the day, the track was under maintenance and so we had to plan somewhere else.
So once that plan was on the go, the ball really started rolling, supernanny suggested a weekend away there too, so I asked Nicholas (Riser5) if he wanted to organise a CITO for us and we’d come up and join him. Once he had a definite date, I booked myself in for 2 nights, then Helen and Juliette, then Sharon. Rex wasn’t able to make it.
I had just visited Georick's brick just down the hill and took some cool fotos of the artwork sculptures if you can call them that...lol. Different. One day I shall bring my parents back here for a meal and a look-see.
So I parked on the driveway knowing I wouldn't be here long. I went to the post in question, couldn't see what was obvious then I did! Naturally this cache is very appropriate for the name of this vineyard. Thank G for this. Now off to a EC.

A quick find on our way out of the sculpture park. Daddypig was going to stop, let me jump out and sign the log, then we could go on our way, but somebody was behind us and they weren't quite as enthusiastic about waiting for 10 seconds. Instead he had to go down the road, turn around, and made me walk down to the car.
Congrats on your 1900th here G! I am on 1215 of your hides or so
Well themed camo!

Using part of our "Explore Tāmaki Makaurau Voucher" to walk the Brick Bay Sculpture Trail followed by a nice cold cider & beer. We enjoyed the wander around Brick Bay - a nice bush walk with a regenerating Kauri Grove and some interesting at times bits of art to admire.
This cache will be our 4392nd find.
Also our 1091st G2 find. Only around another 800 for us to go. TFTC

A bit of a long way round to head to Leigh, but the roads sort of heads there via this one! All good with the hide, nice in-theme camo does the trick.
Took a days leave today for a couple of reasons. Firstly it's my birthday today and with mrs c scheduled to be at work (she was off sick in the end though, and stayed at home), and secondly I wanted to head up to the Northernmost Regional Park at Te Arai, East of Wellsford. The sun came out, I was on the road nice and early and I managed to find the 20+ G_2 caches that would get me into 4 figures of finds by him. Thanks to all COs for their hides today, and the final cache find was 33. Like my age. Once upon a time!

It was nice to escape the tediom of lockdown and get out and get a few caches within the Auckland boundary with a couple of caching buddies. This is your 1900th hide and my 1384th G-2 find!
Out for a days caching with merlot58 and Nette1234.
Was so fantastic be able to go this far from home after months in my bubble of one in this Covid Lockdown.
Really like this cool typical Glyn hide ...most suitable for it's name!
Cheers!

On a mission today as part of Team G0LD to clear the remaining caches in Tawharanui and any others we could in the general area. With success there, we still had a good few hours left, so headed back in the direction of Warkworth, making detours down a lot of side roads, to look for caches we may otherwise never have visited.
I have never been down this peninsula before, so it was an interesting place to visit. That's what geocaching does. Parking was a bit of an issue here, but we made do and headed off to search. Before long, another classic G-2 cache was located, log signed and replaced as found.
Certainly an appropriate location for a milestone hide. TFTC

Out with Team Gold (0B80B8 and Lis crew) to collect some caches in the area. Love the camo on this cache. Soon located. TFTC
Wow, now just over 2000 hides and over 5000 finds. Congratulations on those achievements. That's a great effort. I certainly do appreciate your hides.
We missed the turn off on our way out so came back to grab it. Not much parking at the top so our driver stayed in the car here. This cache certainly fits gz well. Another creative hide, thanks G-2

Nice find on our way out from doing the Brick Bay sculpture walk which I'd highly recommend. Lovely bush walk with art, and well worth the $10 entry.
1900 hides? Amazing! I struggle with the maintenance on my 8!
Greetings from Wellington and TFTC.

Looks like a lovely place to visit.Quite a few people around here this afternoon.Managed to park up nearby and make a quick find.Always like G2 caches.Congratulations on your milestone. We were only saying earlier we wondered how many you had hidden and how many we have found.
Had to do a bit of creative parking for this one, glad it was in the first place I looked so I didn't have to park there for long. Not sure how many of yours I have found but it doesn't necessarily make them easier to find at times. Fortunately this one was a quick one. TFTC
Nice hide G-2! Did you go in to celebrate the milestone? Some cool sculptures and a nice walk here. Have aslo experienced some of the cuisine when my mother organised a celebration for a milestone birthday for my sister here last year. A blank log was found here, so a third {FTF} for us today - certainly not the Sunday I envisaged on Friday (or even this morning for that matter), but we left plenty of time for others to get here ahead of us.
