Found on a short overnight trip from Adelaide up to Hawker to attend a funeral.
I wasn’t really planning to do too many caches, but I was staying overnight at the pub at Orrorroo and arrived in town a bit early, so took the opportunity to find a few around town.
This was a quick find. However it would not retract properly, so I had to wrap it around the branch. Needs repair.
Thanks martini.989 for the cache.

Currently not capable of maintaining this one, so into the archives it goes. Will get the geotrash removed.
While staying in Jamestown for a little while we did a caching run to Orroroo.
We spent most of the day wandering around the empty and abandoned Orroroo Reservoir.
Don’t very often see an interesting cache like this one. We replaced the very full log with a new sheet.
Many thanks for the hide martini.989….another favourite point on it’s way.

Logbook full so didn't sign. Crafty. Was a bit tricky to return to original state as kept jamming. May need some attention from the cache owner in the near future. TfTC
I managed to get away for a couple of days to try abd build up the numbers for the year. I stayed at Orroroo overnight and made my way around the mid north.
All caches found were in good order unless otherwise noted.

This hide is AWESOME we are in town on our travels and thought we would grab a couple of caches and when saw how many likes this cache had we just had to stop and we weren’t disappointed such a fun hide, thanks for placing it a favourite for us
Love, love, love this one. Was able to spot the cache on approach which allowed for some strategic planning and removed the need for TOTT's. Would give a favourite if I could, thanks for the challenge and the smiles martini.989.
Awesome geocache love how crafting and simple this one was thanks for the hide.
Found during a caching trip to SA's mid north staying at Orroroo for two nights and Jamestown for the last night. Tricky retrieval! Thanks for the cache martini.989!
We stayed here the night, such a great place very kind of the owner to do this.
Once I located best tool for the job the log was quickly signed and returned to it rightful place. TFTC Favourite point.

We decided to load up the camper and run away from home for a week or two. The rain and a domestic water repair made us change our plans a few times but it didn't detract from the fun. We met quite a few people and learnt a lot from them - we were privileged to be shown a dugout at Coober Pedy and station life at Edeowie. We also found time to find a few caches, but we still have many unfound in the areas visited. Looking forward to returning to the upper north of South Australia one day soon.
Thank you to all those who helped make our trip very enjoyable.

This is definitely a favourite & deserved to be awarded as such. This favourite point is awarded for the thought process that went into making this a great geocache.
The log was signed & dated before being returned back to its hiding place.

Headed north with Jack and the lovely Purrfect Di.
Saw some sights. Checked some shops. And found some caches of course, like this one...
Almost a drive by. Reach for the stars! Neat hide. Luckily no campers to disturb in the dark!!
Thanks to martini.989 for placing and maintaining this cache on our northern geo game map

Looking each and every day finding and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for any old bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Heaps of appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thank you for reading all this addition to the log word count!

The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021!
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]
DAY 5: Exploring some mid north towns.
We measure up. In fact we have found several of these types of caches and indeed one earlier on this trip out Cleve way. So knowing exactly what to do we were surprised that it was reluctant to work easily. Out with the ladder and up I went. There is the problem, the tape has become a bit buckled about half way along where you need it to go. [:(!] Log signed we found it just as hard to get back. May need some TLC soon. Maybe it was just us caching in the rain!
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks martini.989 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Didn’t come down or go back up properly, so we had to use the ladder for both directions.

Big drive home from Rawnsley Park to Adelaide before the next leg of our holibobs to KI.
Did a bit of a detour as the Moho driver was going a bit more slowly than me. Collected 12 caches and 5 labs before getting back into Moho planning.
I only just measured up luckily with a broom handle on board and elevation from the Yaris I was able to make it! TFTC Martini!

Such a clever idea for a hide.
I guess I did measure up
After a very relaxing weekend away it’s time to head home, but I have to find a couple of caches on the way

We spotted the cache but it was out of range. After several attempts at retrieving it using various implements lying around, muggle husband had a brain wave. After a bit of motor sport we soon had the log signed.
Loved this cache. We saw it, we tried something that didn’t work. We came back with something else and geowife put her acrobatic skills into action. Fav from us.
I haven’t seen one of these for a few years. It took us a few goes but finally got down. A fave point for it.
Trip to the Mid North with the geo-pup. Day 5, around Orroroo.
Found and got down easily enough, but getting it back up was a challenge... not sure how much longer it will be operational for!

Day three of a camping trip testing out my new swag. I am slowly making my way up to the Flinders Ranges and taking my time exploring lots of little towns along the way.
After spending the night in Orroroo, I was up early to grab a few caches around the reservoir.
No problems here. Cache and contents are both in good condition.
I struck up a conversation with an overnight camper over the fence. He was intrigued by what I was up to. I explained all about Geocaching so hopefully we have a new inductee into this fun but crazy hobby.
Favourite point.
Thanks for the cache martini.989.

We stood we contemplated we wondered we worked it out. Measure twice cut once. The cache was retrieved and the log was signed. A fun hide. TFTC
The geosisters watched on as I drove past this one as I missed the up. A quick uee and I was at GZ. H423L pointed out the cache for me and asked for the ladder. A change of plans and we soon had this one in the hand. Hellyonfire was slightly gob smacked - well to be honest we all had big smiles on our faces! Always love these. [^]
Thanks to martini.989 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Weekend four wheel driving not too far away with geosister H423L and Astro team grabbed some caches in this area before going home
So H423L and I asked Astro to get the ladder and while he was doing that she realised we just needed a hook. I had not seen this before like she had and thought it deserved a favourite point loved it.

Unique & clever cache. Took a while and used a lighter natural prop to retrieve cache.
Found while staying in Peterborough with my muggle friend, Bron, who caches with me and caught up with caching friends too...
Joined forces with SnappyTomCats today as we ventured from Peterborough to Orroroo...
Well we should have read the description first as Bron and I scaled the embankment before realising there was a road...yes "Read The Description"...good advice...
Anyway the cars were relocated and STC's new TOTT was put into action and the cache retrieved, signed and placed back as found...

Heading off for a days geocaching adventures with honeysucker we headed off onto some back roads, after lunch we tackled a few in town before heading down the road for a few extras, clever cache but was being difficult so we used a TOTT to make this one a easier exract, a fav point for a creative hide

We had planned to visit Peterborough for the weekend to attend an event and do some caching. and as we had to deliver a heap of Crystal Decanters that we had engraved for the Clare wine show, to them, we figured we are halfway there..might as well carry on, so we organised a day off and are having a "long Weekend' up North! Today we teamed up with hevwalker and Bron. Luckily we had a new TOTT that was just perfect for this one! FP added for the fun. TFTC
This was found as we wander this great country

Finally managed to get to find this cache, while doing some local maintenance.
Was looking for this when I thought I had been muggled out by the nearby campers, turns out they were newish cachers coming to see if I needed help.
Made a fashioned tool to extract.

A neat little hide that didn't take me too long to spot. Then found a TOTT nearby that someone had made from some rubbish and soon had the cache in hand!

Another clever cache. Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Then the fun started. Nature came to my rescue. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

I arrived and looked down but had no luck a read of the description I soon spotted the hide, to the car to get the ladder, up I went and realised that I could if just used the TOTT pole to pull it down
Today I started off in Peterborough and caches my way around the back roads in the northern area before finishing of the day with a bit of caching with Davidwazza near Wilmington and his event before making the drive home. A total of 89 caches for the day.
