WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 73 - Westonia to Koorda via Mukinbudin and Bencubbin. The roads were quiet and the rain held off till the afternoon. I managed to do some labs in Mukinbudin. Once I was set up in Koorda, I pulled out the eScooter and did a lap of town for the local caches before heading down to the pub on foot for dinner. It rained all nigh but was quite a bit warmer than the last two days. More travel to the west tomorrow..I pulled un in the soggy car park and walked along the train to get to this cache. An open area, but one item caught my eye and the cache was soon found. Thanks for the cache PollyMichele48365.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & November 2020 Take A Hike A#429**Albida**
Yay, after a few DNFs at other locations we found this one today!! Such a lovely spot at Weira, we saw lots of tadpoles in the gnamma hole. TFTC PollyMichele!
Another nice spot to camp that we didn't know about!
Thank you PollyMichele for placing and maintaining Weira for us and others to find and enjoy!

Found it with its guardian gecko. A beautiful little spot in our back yard. Good spot for a camp
Spending a bit of time travelling around WA wheatbelt checking out the wildflowers.
After a couple of DNF's it was nice to find this one but it did take a few minutes.

Out in the Wheatbelt for a night of camping at Baladjie Rock. Cleaned up a number of caches that I hadn’t grabbed on previous trips, ticked off two new LGAs that I have been through, but never grabbed caches at. Thanks to all the COs that place and maintain caches in this part of the world.
Stopped off here on the way to Muka after camping at Baladjie for the night. Didn’t know you could camp here, although Baladjie and other locations are better. Cheers PollyMichele!

Heading home after camping the night at Baladjie Rock having a go at the odd smiley here and there.
Took a couple of minutes to locate. It was a bit smaller than I thought it was gonna be.
PollyMichele I found your cache at 11:35am, this was the 1st of 4 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 7462. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Day 2 on the camping trip. Headed from mangowine to Baladjie today via more back roads and country towns.
Great day caching, finished with an FTF at Baladjie rock.
Thanks for the fun.

Was expecting a rest stop cache so this was a nice surprise.

On a road trip around the wheatbelt areas of Western Australia for a few weeks. We are enjoying the many friendly towns along the way, whether staying in the CP’s or camping out. So far, we have found every cache that we have looked for, and hopefully our streak will last as we move around to the next town and beyond. Thank you so much to the CO’s of every cache for placing them for our enjoyment. They certainly bring you to many spots that you might not stop at otherwise.
Stopped here for an overnight camp. Thunderstorms and rain was heading in, so we went out to find a very well hidden cache….don’t think that will go missing in a hurry…..and a look at the gamma hole. Just back to the van in time for the downpour that lasted most of the night.

Out exploring the area through caching. Quick find of the cache then a wander down to the big puddle. Lots of wasps zipping about doing wasp stuff. TFTC and bringing me here

Out on a camping trip with some girlfriends to Nungarin to go to a nearby festival. Talked the muggles into looking for some caches with me. This one was interesting to them as they’d never seen a gnamma hole before. Cache was found easily, signed and replaced. Thanks pollymichele for bringing us here
Very pleasant stay at the campsite nearby. Lovely spot. Hadn’t realised there was a cache so close to our camp until we went for a walk. TFTC
Didn't have plans to go to Westonia yesterday arvo but at least it means we can grab a couple of caches on the way to Mukinbudin for tonight's stay
A quick find by Mr dimor on another warm (insert hot) day.

Found it! Nice walk through the bush. Cache was in good condition, we forgot our pen so used a rock to draw a line on the log book to act as our signature haha. TFTC!
A bonus #FTF# out here in the Wheatbelt today.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful location, I would imagine the wildflowers would be stunning through here in Spring:-)
