Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. Many thanks to G-2 for hiding.Best regards, searchersab
Heading back to The Tron and to give some respite from following a truck or two, I pulled over to look for this cache where Ive been muggled out a couple of times before. Easily found one of the two containers at the Gz! Thanks G_2#5463Logged using Cachly.
It has been a while since I have cached in Warkworth so today I decided to go there to sign off a few caches.I had to be a tad sneaky as there were muggles in the carpark.Cheers for the cache, G-2.
Stopped here on way back from looking for places to put caches. and there is a cache here to be foundTFTC
Driving from Auckland back to northland I just need to stop from here to there to there and here, yay so many caches new to me And my muggle friends are so very much patient with me, Ill feed them with more wine tonight Found wellTftc
4-week family trip through NZ - Find #4!On a short break in the drive to Whangarei, we could quickly find this cache.TFTC!
This was a quick stop on our way back to Auckland. Weve done a previous enactment of this cache so knew where to go. TFTC
We were on out way back to Auckland (me and FriwiNZ) (my dad) we decided to come to this lookout and find a cache. The views were amazing and the cache was well hidden TFTC
Im back in New Zealand for the first time in four and a half years. Im here for just over three weeks visiting the family. Nice to see a number of new caches about, in places that I have found caches before. Road trip today to head down the island to visit more family. I dont have any time constraints so can stop for a cache or two on the way. A quick find here despite the muggles taking a test stop. Tftc
Looks like it has gone again. It has been searched well by the looks of the surrounding area
Quick park and grab on our geocaching weekend in Auckland with Lis"s Crew with light traffic in the dark on a chilli winters evening. Thanks for the cache.
Yvettetb and I were off to Auckland for another geocaching weekend. I thought it was a good time to attempt this cache again armed with a friend and under the cover of darkness.
Funny to see that the CO replaced this not long ago as I couldn't find it about then. That time I'd wandered over with my can of coke (trying to look inconspicuous) and had a good feel around the geodetic mark but come up empty handed. I can only conclude that it must have been missing when I tried. It was certainly a quick and easy find tonight especially with an empty lookout. I'd also parked the car with the headlights pointed right at gz which was very helpful.
Thanks for the cache

Pulled over here to allow traffic to pass me, checked the phone and it says a cache, have another look and I'm right next to it, this was a quick find, tftc
A quick find here in the only place it could have been, I guess. A lot of rubbish in the bushes around here as well. Generous pullover space. TFTC G-2.
Last day of our trip up North, today we are heading to Auckland and flying home.
In the meantime, a few caches on our travels. Just ones that look interesting, or are on our side of the road, and with an eye on the clock as we make sure we meet our flight.
Thanks all COs for placing and maintaining.

I'm on a week's annual leave, choosing to spend time traveling north to visit and reconnect with a few friends up here, and naturally that also gives me an opportunity to do some caching up this way again. Today is day 2, which involves driving from Botany to Kaiwaka, via a few targeted caches.
By now I was on the home stretch of my drive, and was able to stop at a few caches that I'd simply run out of time to get last time I was up this way. It took me longer to find than it should have, simply because for some reason I thought I was looking for something a little bigger. But no issues to report here, so I was quickly back on my way again after signing the log.
Thanks for placing this one.

After a week in the Bay of Islands followed by a couple of nights in Whangarei we are making our way home to Auckland. We had considered stopping to find this cache on our way north, but then thought better of it. Nice and easy to pull of the highway when heading south, and a quick find too. TFTC
Just about to walk away b4 all sides checked. Now to get out in the traffic heading north. Reduced speed due to roadworks should help. There is a Cafe here on the hill not sure if it is still open as there are no OPEN signs.
We searched for this a couple of months ago but didn’t DNF it. We waited till it had been found and we were passing today so had to stop. Pleased to find it and get a smiley. TFTC.
Heading home from a weekend up north, we stopped off the to collect this cache. When we pulled in there was a van with a muggle in it. We were able to park between the van and gz, so the van driver couldn’t see us. With a previous finder who confirmed the cache has gone. We replaced it with a temporary pill bottle until the CO can replace it.
On our way home, quick stop and grab. I have never really noticed these concrete blocks. Lots of long grass around and cache was pretty wet, dried it as much as possible before putting it back.
Nice and quite today, so it made a for a simple find. Didn't see the hint item initially so took a minute or two to work out where to look. Thanks for the hide.

Another chance to pull out of traffic for awhile, thankfully a nice big pull-in area. Cache quickly found and then we raced to find the gap to weave ourselves back into the flow of traffic heading Northward. TFTC

GZ is quite a construction site at the moment but luckily nothing was happening while we were here except a couple of cachers in search of a plastic bottle. The cache has thankfully escaped being buried in the new lot of gravel. TFTC # 18,351
A nice quick park n grab luckily out of the way of the work going on here. TFTC G-2

Another survey cache to stop at. Cache was quickly located. Some water in the cache, so dried log and container. Write in the rain paper is the best!
Travelled up from Dunedin for my first Mega event and wanting to sign off some geotour caches as well in Auckland and Northland.
Thanks for the cache, G_2

Little did we know that our holiday had ended before it had begun. This was a nice park and grab on what we initially thought was on our way to Whitianga. Then level 4 came along. Tftc
A couple more finds before I get home and although this wasn't on my radar originally it was soon added as I knew I would pass by. Parked alongside at 1 metre away and soon had my name added to the logbook, blocked from the views of a number of trampers who (I guess) had just come down from the peak.
Well, this weekend is not what I thought it would be, but it also kind of is too! mrs c was supposed to be heading down to Taihape for the week, leaving on Saturday morning and coming back Thursday. This meant that my 'plan' for a raid out Leigh/Matakana way and then next day clearing out another couple for areas out that way would a few cache finds and boost my find numbers by certain prolific hiders. Alas, it was not to be, though mrs c encouraged me to pursue my original Saturday plans and I didn't need telling twice. I was keen on an on-foot assault on the Matakana 'cycleway' and a couple of other target caches on the back roads out towards Pakiri/Wellsford roads. I ended up with over 50 finds, quite unheard of these days and a mighty 15kms walked, nice. The unexpected rain came and went and I saw lots of stuff, which is good. Thanks all COs for their hides encountered.

Today my caching mission was to head North to Northland to find enough caches to make progress towards fulfilling the requirements of a challenge not far from where I live. The weather today was perfect - a real change from the last few days. So nice I was able to have the top down on my convertible cachemobile once the sun was up far enough. So busy with road works around here. Luckily nothing going on close to the cache so I was able to find it after a bit of a search. Last cache for me today. Time to head on back to my hotel in the city. TFTC, Biggles.
1265. 2:32 pm. That was hidden very well for such a location. TFT(1st found)C(of the day)
Stopped to get a break from driving and took the opportunity to grab this cache. TFTC
was up here with the Beconaze's to do the dome valley walk. I had assumed this was the same one that had been here before, but Mr Beconaze set me right. So while I did not pull this one out of its hiding place, I was standing next to mr beconaze (actually by mistake, I was eating an apple) while he signed the log.
Here today to do the walk to the Kauri grove. Parked 15M from the cache so why not grab this one before we headed off. Quick find, sign and return
goal this weekend was some work i had in the area.
but as usual i try and fit a little caching into these weekends.
with squirrel nutcase on board as navigator a little plan developed as we went. work was going to take me as far north as Mangawhai. early start Saturday a plot was hatched . with a bit of extra driving we could complete the northern section of the PWGT caches and be back for work Monday.
small gap in traffic and able to park safely by cache.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Chasing down the last few PWGT caches for Section Tahi. We’re whipping through Northland this weekend at a cracking pace. No time to enjoy the scenery or smell the roses - it’s a pity...
We’ve stopped into this rest area before and remember the previous hide. A quick find on our way north. Thanks G-2 and TFTC.

Off on a 1 week caching / holiday trip to Christchurch, now that Northlanders aren't locked out of Auckland by Covid. Had found the previous iteration very close to this one, which itself was a quick find in the hint location.
And amazingly, this fills a spot on my Jasmer grid as the first June 2020 placement found. TFTC

Stopped by with a new cacher Shrekwrecked who has yet to sign up for a Premium account.
A quick pull in for a break and a cache.
A nice easy find - thanks for putting it her.

Too easy. Horrendous traffic heading back to Auckland but fortunately the road is reasonably empty on my side.
Rather busy place today with road workers trucks. Have been here before.nice quick stop and sign thx.
Nice to pull over after 30 km an hour traffic.
Not too much traffic though....
Easy ...even in the dark!

We are on our summer holiday, we usually take a few weeks and travel around the South Island, but this year we are heading around the North Island. Heading up the West coast and back down the East coast. Finding only a select few caches along the way, we are mostly targeting some challenges we have qualified for, some large size caches, some that fill gaps in our date placed grid, a few D/T combinations, some with lots of favourite points, letterboxes and anything else that grabs our fancy.
I had a fall on day two of our holiday, while out geocaching which has resulted in a fractured bone in my leg and I am in a moon boot and with crutches and I was told to keep weight off my leg. So I am only limited use when it comes to our trip now. I tend to stay in the campervan and just hand out suggestions of when and where GK should search.
A nice quick find here, gk went and found it and signed the log then he returned it as he found it. It was nice to get out of the traffic for a wee while as it was first gear and occasionally second gear driving.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley.

Find Number 7156. My daughter is walking the Te Araroa so I decided to meet her for Christmas day so was heading to Pakiri Beach. A stop here to check on something for here and as I was early I had time to grab this one. Easily found and returned. Thank you for the placement.
When I arrived a man had a full-sized shovel scooping out -- well you know -- from the trailer. I said, "Mighty big dog you have there." He smiled since it was a horse trailer.
There used to be a cache right over there, but not it is right over here. TFTC.

A quick find whilst having a welcome break from driving. Thanks for the cache.
We stopped here for a short break while traveling to Auckland. Flowerydaze soon had this one in hand. Tftc
After our walk up to the trig I thought I should take a few more steps to pick this up.
Rick-a-mortis was here OZR3RZ

The elder Future Finder and I are making our way back home after visiting family in Northland. I am breaking the trip up with some finds along the way. This was our last stop of the trip home. I parked up near to GZ, in the car park, and got to searching. I was rewarded with a super quick find here, just as the hint suggested. Cheers for the cache placement!
Nice quick find with the geokids whilst on a road trip around Northland. Thanks for the pleasant diversion during our lunch break!
A couple caches published yesterday and then another this morning. Even after a late morning start for us they hadn't been found and the weather is nice and sunny so we came to see if we might find a blank log here. It is the third find in this general spot we've now made - and an {FTF} to boot! Thanks for placing G_2 - another geo mark down. Where are all the cachers?
