We had a pleasant day for caching in Adelaide with our good friends Phetlern. The day started out a little drizzly and wet but soon it fined up for a cloudy and mild day.We found a range of caches today and enjoyed the adventure. Thanks to ozmilo for this interesting Ad Lab and bonus.A favourite, what a stunning parkland.
16:41Each time we head back to Victoria we think we have altered the appearance of our geomap, only to check some time later to find that is not so! With many corrected coordinates to hand, today we didn't have to wander far from our accommodation to find many interesting caches, including this one.Great park and interesting AL with a neat bonus caxche. Our thanks to 'ozmilo' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.37500*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
Very fun adventure lab. Little sad I'm the first person to find the bonuscache in over a month. It being slightly off the coordinates threw me off, but I found it with just a touch of effort. Good stuff overall!
Back in my old stomping ground today with the family for a walk around Thorndon Park, ticked off the AdLab then walked over for the find
I completed the adventure lab and came on to find the bonus. Thanks, ozmilo, for the morning exercise plus the cache.
We stay another week in Adelaide and pick up some more caches Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU Tftc
We extended our stay in Adelaide after the MEGA Leapyear events and are still refreshing our memories, enjoying new places and doing some caching.Today we started in this area, as we did the AL in the late afternoon getting too dark. We found the cache and signed the log.Tftc Ozmilo
Decided to get down to Adelaide for a few days as part of the Great Leap Forward Mega event. The general target was EarthCaches, Virtuals and Adventure Labs with plenty of other finds along the way.Enjoyed the Adventure Lab and then went for a wander to the final bonus.TFTC!
Day 3 of our week-long Leap Day Mega trip with BJA3. Quick find here today with no issues. Thanks for placing this hide for us and others to enjoy finding!
Found with TeamBarritts on caching day 3 of Leap Day Mega event Adelaide 2024. . Thanks for the adventure!

Found it! Enjoyed a nice walk around this park we had never been to before! Made the short wander across to make the find. TFTC!
Found with fairy penguins and mama crane on a glorious Spring day. Loving the birds here! Thank you, ozmilo; cache #4267.
Adelaide and train trip Day 12. Blackwood day 4. After returning from my epic Ghan trip from Darwin to Adelaide yesterday, today was a day with a full day of caching planned. I was targeting the SFE challenges up beyond Norton Summit. I did a lot more walking than I expected and had to change my direction as some of the 'roads' I had targeted turned out to be reserve trails. I had a great day and apart from two Cherryville caches found everything I went looking for. I only just made it home in time, but it was well worth it.My last goal for the day was some LAB caches. I did the walk around the park and managed to get the five locations answered and then I had to work out GZ for this bonus cache. I was happy when the numbers took me to an out of the way area where I was able to locate this cache. Thanks for the cache ozmilo44724.15 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & OZGM19 Seeker Geocoin A#403**Albida**
Nice final hide away from Easter crowds and muggles. Was glad. Clue helped with final location! TFTC
Enjoyed doing the adventure lab. Final was a quick find. Now to go up the road to watch my niece play soccer in the state premiere league

Collected the answers when I completed the Adventure Lab but did not have time to find the bonus on that day.
Found today on the way to TDU Stage 3 finish at Athelstone

Found on my way home after attending the Annual Christmas Event 2022 in Jenkins Avenue Park at Rostrevor, taking the opportunity to detour for the search while in the area. Thanks for the Adventure Lab and Bonus cache ozmilo!
Very wet and boggy around here at the moment, but cache is nice and dry even though not high

A great little walk. Lab and bonus are the best. While the rain was constant it was only light. Now back to the car for a cuppa. TFTC
I had a great walk today around Morialta. As I wasn't finished with the exploring, I headed to Thorndon Park for the Adventure Lab. A really interesting spot and the different parts of the lab showcased some interesting relics from the past. With the coordinates obtained I headed off to find this bonus cache. It was a quick find. On the way back to the car I walked past a duck with ~10 ducklings - very cute

Found by Mary and David at at 16:10. This took us a while. The area is quite muddy at present, so we made our way to our indicated GZ by a round about dryer route How can 2 identical GPSrs show such different coordinates? Investigated several likely placed, and were heading out without any luck when M found it several metres from our previous search area. Phew! Just in time. Deserves a higher Terrain rating in today's circumstances.. A FP given for so many steps and a lovely park. Our thanks to ozmilo.
A great adventure lab series followed by a physical cache. Cache in good condition. TFTC
An enjoyable walk in an area I hadn't been before. Interesting info and a well hidden cache that was found thanks to the hint.
Staying at a caravan park at Windsor Gardens and enjoying exploring the area . This was one we targeted and found after completing the AL. Thanks great hide favpoint.
After attending the Early Birds Event this morning, I headed off for a few hours caching in the northern suburbs.
My main targets were some previously solved puzzle caches and some multis. I also managed to complete the Adventure Lab cache at Thorndon Park Reservoir and this associated bonus cache.
Thanks ozmilo for the puzzle and the cache.

Well having done the Adventure Lab to avoid snakes on a snakey day, I find myself at a snakey GZ for the bonus cache, but it’s all good, I got in and out without any encounters. A nice end to an easy AL here; there appears to be a problem with in Information Board question (as in the board isn’t there) but it’s a straightforward google question. Thanks again ozmilo, a very pleasant easy walk on a rather warm day, and a spot in the northeast that I’ve never been to before.
Came to the area for an appointment which gave me a good reason to look for some caches, afterwards. Enjoyed the lab cache. Also nice to visit Thornton Park which is now different from what it was when I lived in Athelstone (early 80's). Thanks ozmilo.
3431 days from 3000 to 4000 finds, but 20 different countries covered in between.
An enjoyable walk around a busy reservoir today for the adventure lab. Glad I'm not doing it for 6 days straight though! All power to the dozen or so entrants in the 6 Day Challenge happening at the moment.
Bonus cache found easily with bubs in tow - purchase of the chunky off-road pram paying off again today TFTC

Today, I went to Campbelltown for business, and tried some caches on the way. Tried one lab cache, one puzzle cache, and two traditional caches. Found all of them.
I have completed the adventure lab cache "Thorndon Park - A Step Back In Time" on 27 August 2020, that was over one year ago. Then the final location has been saved in the to-find list for a long time. Today, since I was in the area, I had a try for this bonus cache.
Parked as close as possible, and walked to the final location. Found some galahs and ducks on the way. Cache has been found easily, without the help of hint.
Container was in good condition. Signed the log book, and placed it back.
Thanks for the adventure lab cache and the bonus cache, ozmilo.

SPending an enjoyable week in Adelaide after SA kindly opened the borders to Greater Brisbane. With Mrs Gunnie off shopping with a friend, I was left to my own devices and decided some labs were on the cards. [^]
Turned out to be a great morning for a wander around the park and very pleased to see a bonus cache on offer here as well.
A detour off the path, the GPS did not seem to be counting down as quickly as I thought it should and reaching a wall I knew I would not get over, there were still more metres on the gadter than I expected to walk to get to GZ. Of course I was wrong and the coords are spot on.
The tell tale sign at GZ gave the location away and I very quickly had the cache in hand. Name in the log, my business was done so I returned as found and made my way back to the car.
Cheers ozmilo.

I was able to get here at lunchtime to pick up this one. I completed the Lab Cache some months ago but decided to work out the numbers at home as I was running out of time.
Finally today time was on my side.
A quick find in an obvious spot.

Finally we managed to find a adventure lab bonus cache. Usually run out of time or can't find it but this one came together very well. Stopped for a hotdog from the kiosk on the way out.
Found It!
I solved this one a while ago now without any problems. Today I was in the area so I stopped for a nice little walk and a quick find!

With Poppadon. Fabulous orienteer, adventure lab and now geocache. Great day! Tftc
Yay. Found it. Another fun adventure, many thanks for the hide. Favourite point from me due to the koala and flock of lorikeets? That were presented to me during “happy hour”
Was greeted at the car park by Splattering of bird poo. It all landed in my hair and that is supposedly good luck, isn’t it? My venture got better after finding a few of the labs and then spotting a very active koala, having his dinner. Usually they are sleeping when I’m nearby.
GeoVenture Mega Event at Millicent, still looking forward to it!! A new date has been proposed for October 2021 now.

With the weather so good it would have been a shame to stay home and do not much today. So jumped into the car and headed out to the north eastern suburbs. All up 18 caches were found, 2 DNF and one was given away as the area looked to "snakey" for my liking. All caches were in pretty good condition. I hadn't been to Thorndon Park before so enjoyed the walk around today. TFTC to all COs.
Decided to make the most of the beautiful weather today and completed my first adventure lab to get this cache. TFTC!
Catching up with late logs.
A spur of the minute decision saw us change our mind and head to SA instead of home from Portland. We were targeting Earth Caches and Adventure Labs as it does not matter about muggles and most places are busy this time of year.
We have not visited here before so this was a great area for us. We followed the Adventure Lab from start to finish and really enjoyed the walk and the scenery. We were surprised that there were not a lot more muggles here but this was to our advantage when we worked out where GZ was. A quick search and we were soon adding our name to log.
Many thanks ozmilo for the Lab, this bonus and showing us this area.

22,471. Found with minniek during our Post-Christmas escape to South Australia.
This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 6 of our adventures took us firstly to an event, then a drive around collecting counties, then a second event, and now an Adventure Lab. With the Labs completed we calculated GZ for this bonus and wandered over for a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off towards the next one.
Thanks ozmilo !!

Out for my what has realistically become my annual caching trip (I really should cache more) with Doctor Owl after having finally been allowed across the border from Victoria. The joys of family being in one state but having to study in another. I have missed South Australia.
The plan of the day, following an event to wrap up the year, was to slowly head towards some caches that Doctor Owl really wanted to get and grab any that I hadn't got on the way. There are a lot of caches that I don't have to be honest.
I was sent to do the Adventure Lab with Brisal 5 and ttrogg so naturally the next step after finishing the Adventure Lab was to find the bonus. We were beginning to get a bit worried that it would be outside the park but then we found it. TFTC.

Only one of the three goals set at the start of the year was now possible and was completed the other day. [^] So as I will probably try and achieve the other two again next year, might as well try and get a few days off the list this year.
The walk around the park to do the Lab caches took a lot longer than expected but when completed we sat at the seats down near the pump house and worked out this puzzle. [^] Over there. May as well stop and get that other puzzle on the way there that I had previously found in 2013. [^] Arriving at GZ we walked past GZ and looked in the furtherest extremity of the park. Looking at the GPS we backtracked for and easy find.
***Thanks ozmilo for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

This was our first multi stage Adventure Lab and we thank those at the Nick Off 2020 event for encouraging us to have a go. The walk around the area with MinnieK and family was great. Thank you for the adventure!
An enjoyable stroll collecting the labs then this. Always like this place. Quite busy today and there was even some soccer happening. Found the cache exactly smack spot bang on - no issues with the lab for me today.
Thanks to ozmilo and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Had issues with the Adventure Lab at the second spot (Pump) so continued around the rest.
Made the doing it all I went back to the Pump for another look. Nope. The sign hadn’t magically reappeared while I was walking. Message sent off to the CO for assistance, but while I was waiting for a reply I decided to use some Google-fu skills. Those assisted with a number that the AL liked. Plugged in the numbers to this bonus and off for a walk to GZ where a nice easy find was made.
Thanks for the cache ozmilo.

This evening after work, I decided to visit Thorndon Park in the north-eastern suburbs, primarily to complete the Adventure Lab there, but also to have a run and visit a few other geocaches. I had never been here before, and I really enjoyed the experience. The history of one of Adelaide's older reservoirs was interesting to see, and the park was busy with visiting joggers. Just prior to sunset, I visited a few other places in the area before finishing off my day at Wadmore Park. That was another enjoyable park to see, and I was surprised to see the large area of trees/shrubs in what felt like suburbia. Adelaide certainly offers some nice local places that were only known to me through geocaching.
What a great adventure lab! Perhaps I enjoyed it even more since I had never visited this park before, and enjoyed jogging around the lake and grounds. They've done a great job in transforming this area to an enjoyable jogging and activities park, as well as the historic relics and even pump house was pretty cool. I continued my run around the grounds to GZ, where I promptly made the cache find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks ozmilo for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. A Favourite Point from me!

Today's caching trip was a huge walk down memory lane for me as I grew up in Paradise!
On summer evenings, mum would walk us kids up to The Resevoir Hotel to meet mum's sister after she finished work there. My sister and I would both be pushing our doll's prams and mum would be pushing my brother in his pram
Apparently it was about 1 mile from home to the pub so that meant 2 miles once we got back home again[|)][xx(]
There's also another story about mum's sister and this resevoir and back then, it was a full resevoir with slippery slate edges
In the image on the cache page, you can see the track that used to go straight up the front of Black Hill
My father used to take us 3 kids up that track on weekends, just for something to do
I'd love to have the capacity to be able to climb that hill now!!

It seems the authorities want walkers to walk anti-clockwise around the lake. Unfortunately with 1st two stops being near listed car parking, the next points are clockwise... maybe CO can set them to be done in an anti-clockwise direction set order... until the many covid signs are removed?
A great spot for a walk, and cache easily found with great co-ords..

S34 52.ABA E138 41.CDE! The information I needed at the end of my last visit. Apparently the synchro failed. A bit like the other one down the beach but that one was the opposite to this one. Except that 2-1 + 2-1 does not equal 2.
Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Check out the event page and our website for new details. We would love to see you at this three day event. Mega event sponsored by Wattle Range Council, Geocaching.com and many other supporters. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Taking a break from working from home, I thought a bike ride and a cache or two would be nice, especially as it looked like the rain was clearing up.
Narrator: "It wasn't."
The bike made it easy to get around all the lab waypoints and even though I thought I was familiar with this area, I learned some new things and saw one new feature.
Saw a suspiciously walking individual while completing the waypoints and had my suspicions confirmed when I was joined at the final by bgmat.
I didn't think silver was on the cards, but it was, and only by a couple of minutes!
Back on the bike for a wet ride home, and a change of pants (a surprising amount of mud gets on you when you're riding through puddles).

Saw this recently published Adventure lab and was thankful as it is close to home. But yesterday I had escaped the WFH thing and was out in the field doing some real work. And being 50Km away decided that this would have to wait. Today however the boss wanted me in they office for a while so in I went and after work finished I decided to stop by and complete the Adventure Lab. While I was very familiar with the site, this took me to parts that I had never visited and did not know existed. While wandering around in the rain, a cyclist passed me, we acknowledged each other and continued on in our respective directions. Once all 5 segments were completed and I had the numbers, I assembled some coordinates and off I went. As I approached GZ there was the Cyclist. Standing there with something in her hand. She said I suppose you are looking for this? After introductions, it was nice to meet Frozen Feet. Particularly relevant on this day. We both had a laugh as there would not be too many people crazy enough to be wandering all over the place in the rain. Log signing duties done the cache was replaced. Pretty happy to have signed this either in joint Silver or Bronze. We had a chat as we wandered back to the exit, me to go back to the WFH thing and Frozen feet off to the next cache before heading home.

Having got the FTF on the lab cache series, Owl decided for once to watch out for a physical FTF. She waited and waited... and finally it came out while she wasn't paying attention. Finally checking emails, owl grabbed her sandshoes and sped out the door. Then after approaching from the wrong direction, she muttered darkly something like 'silver if you're lucky!)
Squelch, squelch past the ducks in the drizzle with no umbrella to a quick find and a surprisingly empty logbook. If she gets a cold it will be totally worth it! *FTF* at 2.47pm.
