Took me and my family about 10 minutes to find was my first geo and it was fun.
Spent the day caching with my good mate steeba. We concentrated our efforts around southwestern Sydney.
This cache was one of many we found today.

Dnf. Found what we thought it could possibly be but perhaps someone has ruined it
Turns out that this hide had gone to cache heaven, so I have now spirited a replacement.

Mrs Booo spotted the cache and Mr Booo made the retrieval.

Ok, so it seems my new hide is giving some grief! Although this is now a pretty regular hide, it does have a Sweetmanda twist to it, and it’s this twist that’s causing the grief. Oh well, I’ve changed it to something a little less tricky!

This was the first of seven finds for today. I am trying to tick off all of the attributes and with only 3 left to go, I'm running pocket queries to see which caches have the attributes I need. This cache fit the bill so I decided to make my way to GZ, thanking the heavens for good weather. I parked right next to GZ and immediately spotted the cache. I can see on the map that there are meant to be trails in this reserve but the grass is so overgrown, it's lucky the cache is not too far from the main footpath. Unfortunately, this is where my luck ran out. The cache is wedged in so tightly and even after removing a stick that presumably was used by a previous cacher without success, the cache would not budge. Although I wasn't able to sign the log, I've taken a photo and am more than willing to return to GZ to sign the log once the cache is dislodged. TFTC.

Tried to avenge a DNF here since I was in the area. Found the new hide but it was wedged very firmly in its spot and was not budging despite all the pushing and wiggling I did with the pen and natural TOTT. No luck

Coordinates changed to:
S 34° 5.864 E 150° 47.409
Distance from original: 30.7 feet or 9.4 meters.
Have to change the hide location and type due to the possibility of a repeat of these floods we've been having!

Not realising the floods rose so high, this has undoubtedly succumb to the vast flow. I will replace in a slightly different locale soon.
Sorry sweetmanda didnt get this one, there may not be to many places to hide here but i wasnt willing to stick my hand in the crevices in a hope of finding it and maybe pulling out a guillamonster hanging onto my didget finger. TFTH.
I had no luck here today, I checked the likely spots but came up empty handed. I wasn't brave enough to feel the holes.
Maybe next time.
Maybe next time.
Fearing this may have sunk down again I decided not to go poking my hands in too deep
Me and my kid found it! It was a lot of fun xD but we couldn’t log it on the paper as we forgot a pen!
Took a little bit longer than we'd care to admit, in our defense it was dark! Left a little owl key ring (: gem and lex
With the recent DNFs, and some intel from a PF newbie, thought I’d go and sus this one out. As I’m a bit gamer than most, I quite willingly “dug deep” to locate and reposition the cache! All back in order!
Teamed up again with morty8888 for a days caching around Glen Alpine. Today's target was the CO's small parks series. We visited twenty of the twenty one caches in the series and had eighteen finds and two dnf's. We didn't attempt number 18 as we weren't sure how to access the park. I enjoyed reading the background to the naming of the parks/reserves and noted that a lot of the containers were something that I regularly see for sale at the local chemist chain for use as a pill container.
Our good run of finds finished here and all I got was another dose of Farmers Friends.

With the weather in good form and a bunch of caches by Sweetmanda waiting to be found, Oldmorty and I headed south. With a large list of pros to visit we ended up finding all we attempted bar 2.
This was one of 2 DNFs today. Spent a bit of time in the location we believe it to be hidden but no luck today. Plenty of debris from recent downpours too. TFTC!
