This one i got lucky with. First place i tried there it was. 3rd in my witch series. Thanks.
An easy puzzle solved many years ago and a cache that we have looked for a few times with no success. I needed the clue of outside because we were always looking inside.
Nice quick find today thanks to the straightforward clue. Its been years since Ive been to Redcliffe so it was good to come back for some sand, sun, surf, and a BBQ. TFTC!
I first ventured out almost 3 years ago to attack the Witches Hat series. I didnt have very much luck. Today with a little more insight I decided to start at the top again and perhaps change some of those sad blue faces into smileys. I have managed to turn 11 around. The log was signed and everything returned as found. TFTC
Muggle65 and l stopped for this one today as he needed it for his next loop. Thank you for the fun
I managed to get down to try for a few more Witches hat caches this morning.Started off brilliantly, with this one found super quick.Happy to christen new logThanks Gcoven
Today we went on another Witch tour. Unfortunately, even after a long search, we couldn't find some of the caches.Thank you for this nice serie says Team sissifalke
Not as busy as I thought it would be. Meant that I could take my time and actually find it today. TFTC!
I've looked for this one repeatedly over the last couple of years - too many muggles, too dark, too much rain, too much sunshine without any success. Tonight we had dinner just up the road with ButtonsDice, at what is currently our favorite fish & chips shop then wandered down this way to look yet again. After the muggles admiring the Christmas decorations finally moved on, all four of us swept in to search and would you believe it, I put my hand on it almost immediately. Must have been the added pressure of having fellow geocachers with me! Thanks for find #5278TNLN
I was hoping to avenge a DNF but Sunday market day isnt the best time so no luck again.
Was worried about finding this in such a high muggle area but fortunately the cache was easily spotted but only to someone who was looking for it.

Doing a quick cito, and wondering if the take away numbers we picked up might be able to score us a feed, the cache was found in the open but tucked away again after signing
Ran into a fellow cacher who wasn't caching at the time but was almost sitting on the cache. Found and signed. Thanks for the puzzle and find.
After the most amazing Mexican nearby, I walked down for a pretty quick find of a puzzle I solved with a little research.

Out to lunch with the folks and as I was wandering with them back to their car, we paused here for a looksee. Mum had found it before, but it was not in the same spot. Made contact with the CO and got some specific details for a replacement as originally placed.
Lovely and quiet here today with the rain, sadly too much rain for a good hunting session.

Like so many before me came up empty handed. Looked in all the obvious places but no luck. Disappointing as I enjoyed solving the puzzles.
Humm, another dnf but I was going past, sat down as previous finder had said. Soon had in hand tftc
Adding our name to the dnf list.
Had another look on our return walk - still couldn’t find it.

An afternoon trip to the peninsula to find a few more cache and I had some of this series earmarked
It was time check into the RSL for a pit stop and coffee and I left my wife there while I took a stroll around to find a few of the close ones. I was lucky with this one as I sat down in the right spot and put my hand straight on the cache.

Another day walking to find more in this series in preparation for our 4 day walk in Tassie in 6 weeks (Covid permitting!!!). A lovely sunny day. We were very excited when we actually found one today as the finds were few and far between!!! This was our last for the day so we were happy to get a smilie. Thanks Gcoven for the series and the cache.
Enjoyed finding the answers to these puzzles. Such a big effort put in to set up the series.
At GZ it was “Round and round the garden, like a teddy bear!”
Luckily krcamber finally put us out of our misery and found it - yay!

Sneaky sneaky. The sun had come out so lots more muggles around now. Swearah and I had to use some stealth but soon uncovered the micro sized hide! TFTPC!
Today, I started out the day with Mitchelton Parkrun, before grabbing jesswrigley, and heading to the Roma Street Parklands for the planned geocaching event. We enjoyed a short walk around visiting a few additional waypoints as part of the *Come Roam Around Roma* virtual cache.
In the afternoon, I headed north to Redcliffe for shopping, and spent a few hours around the bay, which included completing the *Redcliffe Convict Trail* Adventure Lab and a few nearby Wherigo adventures.
Is there really a garden bed corner when the edge of the garden bend is curved?
I needed to search around the place, but after a few minutes, I soon had the cache in hand. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Gcoven for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Starting today to grab a few caches to tie up more of my DT grid. Unfortunately it was market day. Homing in on the GZ was as subtle as sin as she sort the through the garden Bed & came up trumps.
Solved this puzzle while geohubby was finding the pervious cache up the road. Parked up within meters of GZ and after a quick search, we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC Gcoven
The definition of when Halloween goes wrong can be summed up with story.
It’s crazy out there! I’ve just killed 25 zombies so far! - But why the hell are they all carrying candy?
Or when they ask if you want a trick or treat and you say wine.
Or by the end of the night, you have a bag full of restraining orders.
Cheers Gcoven for an interesting assortment of puzzles and keeping the series alive with your regular maintenance checks.

Another puzzle that I solved at home... we actually had a cursory look for this cache earlier in the day, but gave up quickly... this was our last stop before heading home after fish and chips... I had the right idea earlier just didn’t go far enough around... tftc...
Peppa did the solving and Giraffe 18 and I came along for the ride. Nice day out at Redcliffe with a few finds for us today. Thanks for the cache
We had a second go at this one. Went for a lunch break then on way home we stopped here. Great find by Peppa. TFTC. Out with PirateLinda and Peppa
Staying at Lawton showgrounds and had solved these puzzles a while back in anticipation of doing them following Daybro Mega. Dropped the car off in the middle and set off on our bikes, what was suppose to be a great day to celebrate our 11000 find soon turned into dissapointment, we unfortunately had far too many DNF's, and was no longer being enjoyable. Either we did not have our geo eyes on or they were very clever hides.
On looking through some of the logs there have been a few DNF's. We stopped the series and did the Adv Lab and headed home.

Found this one at night hiding in the garden with some water inside it. Dried it and replaced it covered believe the GPS you will find it. Thanks for another part
After attending the Mega and knocking off the Dark Side, 65 Roses, Horses, Pac-Man, Geosaurus and I️Geo series I hunted witches and challenges today.
I think I’m setting records for DNFs today
Thanks Gcoven for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

Found easily and surreptitiously given that it was market day. Thanks for the cache
Gotcha.
Out with the family for a random walk around Redcliffe. This will be our only find for the day before heading off. Thanks CO .
Love your work.

Skyline_Pigeon and I did some boxing day caching today for a few hours, which is as long as an 8 month old would allow . Decided to knock off a few more of my 500+ solved puzzles. TFTC
Cruising around the Redcliffe area today, picking up a few more witches hats. I'm really looking forward to finishing this geoart! I can start to see the hat emerge on my map now, and after todays haul of 7, there are only 5 left to go. Wahoo! It is a great series - I managed to solve them all on my own, and loved every location.
We got hit by the rain midway through our plan, and had to cut our epic afternoon short, but still smiles all round. Enjoyed a double rainbow as the rain cleared.

This search took longer than necessary as I wasn't getting a very good reading, it kept jumping around. I took a seat and concentrated on a few spots and soon had the cache in hand. Paperwork completed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Had an enjoyable day looking for some of the Witch's Hat Geo-Art while passing the time. Meeting up with georode and TeamTyrell for a kayak later.
Love solving the puzzles, some with PAFs and trades, ha ha... oh I love this game.
Cache was full of water but still managed to sign. Another cache found with PAF.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Gcoven.

The Marble had this one in hand before I’d even had a chance to scratch around. TFTC Gcoven
Unbelievable! As the three of us approached GZ, we each took a slightly different area to begin searching. The Marble found the cache within half a second of beginning her search! It’s really handy to have someone like that with you sometimes. I’d hate to try to do this one on the weekend but today was an easy search.

We are on fire on the escooters on the bikes. Deaf phantom found this one. Logged as Deaf group.
Out this morning on a lovely little bike ride around the Redcliffe foreshore. It was arranged to meet up with Willis007 and, Liz and Bruce for a ride along the Redcliffe seaside to collect a few caches. Not an easy series to complete as some hides were very well hidden and some missing. With the CO’s permission we replaced a couple that were known DNF’s, we managed to also find a couple extras that were missing.
It was a fun ride and we had a few laughs along the way. There were people out all over today doing all sorts of activities, the pool area was a buzz and the markets were in full swing so we had to stop for some mini pancakes.
Thanks for the caches, now to get the other half of the series at a later date.

Today we teamed up with Chamad and Jnr Chamad and Willis007 to find this and several others in the series. What a great bike trail series and with it being a perfectly beautiful day many were enjoying the beach activities and vibe around this location. Thanks gcoven for arranging this puzzle series in such a beautiful location.

During the corona virus travel restrictions i had solved quite a few puzzles including quite a few in this series. This afternoon Mrs e3 decided she wanted to explore Redcliffe. As we strolled along the water this one was on the way. TFTC

Loving Friday early finish from work. Mr CuriousQuest and i headed out to find a few caches. A few more witch's hat puzzles to be found. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Out on a Friday afternoon with Selva Girls to pick up some more Witch's Hats. Nice quick find; TFTC
Some googling on 15/8/20 while down at the boat but hiding inside due to the rain, revealed the answer we needed.
Now today a chance to hunt out some of the witchy containers, fitting on Halloween.
We just found 2 parts of the Redcliffe convict trail adventure lab - landing site and 1st settlement wall, then found we were not too far from this one. The clue was a bit obscure when confronted by a rounded garden edge, but we got the gist and found the tiny cache.

Heading out to chase down a few smilies when we realised there were still a few witches hats that needed checking out.
5 of 12 smilies collected today.
A nice quick solve and an equally quick find.
The only difficult or slow thing about this cache was the time it took Mr VC to log it online!
We managed to slot straight into the CLOSEST parking spot to GZ! LOL ...
'Small' in size?
Methinks perhaps a micro.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

The last couple of times we have been near GZ the markets have always been on. The general area is busier than a sperm at an egg convention so there had been no chance to look.
Today there were still a few people around but enough space for us to get our distraction mojo on. I suggested to Mrs Woodyrothwell that we should workshop our ruse so that no one suspects what we are doing.
I decided my character would be named Derado Cevar who is an ex-astronaut, and brilliant mathematician that is unable to relate to his kids because of a colourful relationship with his nanny when he was a kid. Derado wishes he could open a cafe where he roasts his own beans and his cafe is an important hub of the neighborhood that also raises money for under privileged kids in Africa. When Derado isn’t dreaming of roasting beans he is a faithful husband to all six of his wives and can be seen bench pressing world record weights and painting portraits of semi-naked nudes.
I then asked my wife what character she was bringing to the table when she handed me the cache. tftc

Found with Goldielover and Ms Maddy today. I was lucky enough to be invited along for the days caching, While I never solved all these cache puzzles I still loved finding them with someone who did. Lots of muggles around but no one takes any notice what we were up to.

Today, I was out for a day of fun with barbbowman and bubba89 to search for a few more in the Witch's Hat series. It was yet another magnificent day along the bay, made even better by some amazing fish and chips for lunch from Abbey Road
Some of the puzzles had me pulling my hair out trying to work out what on earth the cache owner was thinking, but I got there in the end [^] With our names added to the log book, we continued on our way
Thank you Gcoven for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

It was busy along the water today as Mrs Wombles and I strolled along collecting a few witchy smilies. We made a quick find here thanks to the hint, all signed and returned without alerting any muggles. Tftc and the puzzle Gcoven
Stortigirls and I were in the area signing some challenge caches and decided to have a break and head to the beach for a while and find some other caches, our plans were to charge our phones a bit but that plan didn't quite work. We did find some witch's hats including this one.
We are staying a few days in Scarborough looking for some of the caches in this series. We had a nudge solving just a few of the puzzles which was appreciated and some we have not solved as yet. This was a quick find. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Gcoven.
Today I'm taking a ride around Redcliffe with T-Tech and teamdfl to collect this series of caches, plus a few extra teamdfl has done most of the work of solving, and I added a few last night. We met up at Crockatt Park, and set off at 9am and were back at the cars not long after 5pm, having ridden about 30kms, with a haul for me of 37 smileys, 2 DNFs and 1 DNS (did not stop!)
That's new info for me. A quick find even when surrounded by muggles. TFTC, Gcoven.

We found this one in the late afternoon, as things were beginning to quieten down in this area. The tide is now really getting much higher and the wind has come up a little, to remind us that summer has not quite arrived yet. A beautiful day to be out collecting a few geocaches. We have loved our walk and all of these puzzles.
