After stopping nearby to say hi to Uncle Bob I continued down the road to look for this cache. It was getting dark as I arrived at GZ and I had to rely on a sense of touch rather than sight. This was probably a good thing as I dont know if I would have seen this sneaky cache if I had been looking for it.Thanks for showing me another great park and thanks for the clever cache RoddyC! There is definitely some unique playground equipment here that I have never seen before.

I thought this would be a quick find but it wasn't. Just managed to find as Hatzofff reached me. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks RoddyC. All good with this cache.

Needing a quick streak as I headed home and this looked like a goer. Parked nearby and wandered over. Found it in between muggles, would probably call this "other" instead of small. All good here.TFTC

GC8VJFA Settlers Park - Parks and Recreation Series

Out for a morning of caching with KerriMG chasing some attributes we need which lead us to this side of town.
KerriMG had found this one before so this was up all up to me. After a bit of searching found it. It wasn’t what I was expecting. And KerriMG admitted it wasn’t what she had found.

Amazing how a very small some might say micro find can bring pleasure. Short, sweet, leading to yellow and as expected. TFTC.

New cache in play. I was reliably found previously. It is nowhere near the wasps nest.

The cache guardians prevented logging. Actually I don’t think its there with no reliable finds since it was placed in the new structure bit was trying to be nice. TFDNF

With a couple of hours to kill around the logan area, I managed to find three caches as I was sort of driving past. They were easy park and walk to caches and at this time of the day, there was no one around to cause me trouble.

This one I parked on the road and wondered down to grab. It had me for a bit and something just did not seem right. Searching the barrier over and over, I was just not feeling it. I stood back and then looked around. Hang on what if it is ……. So happy to find this one, I signed the log and replaced the cache as found.

All we could find at the posted coordinates was an empty plastic bag. 4th DNF for the day. CO messaged

We suspect that the cache was muggled. The only thing we found at the coordinates was a zip lock bag stuffed in a good cache spot.

Quick easy find.
No jumping the fence here!

I have returned to Karawatha Forest for the third time this month in an attempt to clear up all the amazing caches in this fabulous forest. Travelling on foot I have collected 14 today. Oh how I envy those who can scoot around on their bikes. Hopefully I am almost finished with my collecting here. I stopped to pick up this cache while moving from one park entrance to another. A little care was required to grab & replace this cache when there was a break in the constant stream of traffic passing by. TFTC

Had to sit in the park and wait for a council worker picking up rubbish to move on. TFTC

I took a wrong turn on my way home from the Queens Land birthday celebration event today & stopped by this park to check google maps. Thought it looked like a great park for a cache & a quick check of Cachly showed RoddyC thought so as well! A short wander over to GZ, a quick find, sign & replace & off home in the right direction this time.

I found myself in the area for work today and thought I would stop by this cache. I knew some stealth would be required and with a well timed grab I made the find. I took a little stroll and added my name to the log. I timed my approach to return the cache and back to the geomobile I go to get back to work. Tftc RoddyC

Too wet for the forest. Too lazy to plan a trip further away, so a quick ride from home on the ebike.

The caches here pop up as next closest on my GPSr every time I ride at Karawatha. Not any more.

A nice quick find, and not too busy just before 8am.

I saw this one come up a while ago and thought parking would be an issue but today I was passing by and soon had a nearby park with a short walk. Arrived at GZ then hand on cache, log signed, replaced and off to the car. TFTC

Found damaged cache..replaced it with a new cache and log book. All is good now

A second attempt here, with hardly any traffic it was easier. Still wondering how i could fail last.
Now to clean up the bush

No luck here for me

Next on my solo caching run was this cache. It was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC

With some time to spare, I thought I’d stop by and have a look for this cache... keeping the previous logs in mind, I was conscious of my presence...

I strolled over to GZ, and after waiting for a break in the traffic, managed to retrieve the cache... it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting to remove, but with this CO I shouldn’t have been surprised... tftc...

All fixed.

Came to search for this cache. Read the activity once here and noticed last cacher has moved it on. Glad we didn’t encounter what happened but hoping the last cacher is ok after reading their log. Hope to come back another time to find this one. Thanks!

I found this one immediately after waiting for the cars to disappear but that was when the fun and games started. I stood back from GZ ready to sign the cache but then a guy pulls up in a black ute and says. GET OVER HERE. so i oblige and he says. “I know what you are doing, I have you on camera”. i just said righto and he then continues to tell me that if he sees me again he will bash me. I was not really intimidated but still it was a little worrying. So he drives off and i get back in my car and head off down the road to get a bite to eat...... but then he follows me and overtakes me on the main road, i guess he wanted to cut me off or something. so i turned off the road and he did a i turn to come back to find me but i got a couple of good light changes and lost the tail. Certainly the strangest encounter i have had while caching.

Anyway with all that trouble i did not put the cache back in its hiding spot to stop the next person being watched by the same guy.

Quick easy find

We were just leaving our son's place and happened to open the app, to see what was around. Lo and behold, there was a cache 50 metres from our position!
A quick find, easy peasy. Thanks for the cache, RoddyC! Another good one.

Swung by this one on my way to work this morning. A surprisingly busy corner! Managed to make the find in pretty quick time and then had to time it carefully to replace. TFTC RoddyC!

Going by so checked it out - still there.

After reading the clue, and rereading the difficulty rating for this one, the cache was not I where I expected it would be. There are two possible reasons for that: I’m either totally cache blind today or it’s been stolen. Either way, no luck for me today.

A good park filled with some nice trees...and a cache!

Waited for the busy road to quieten and made the grab. Signed and waited for the traffic to die down so I could replace it.

I searched all around the likely area and didn't find the cache.

As I had contacted the CO for a DNF at the last cache I rang him back with news of the demise of this cache as well.

He politely offered to meet me here with a replacement. With a new cache in hand I signed the log and placed the cache back in place.
