Visited friend in Moss Vale for the day, had to stop and find at least one geocache. Thank you!
Thanks for this one! Took a while as GPS was sending us all over the place as usual but after a while TC216 found it in a rather obvious and easy to get to place. Luckily a quiet road so no-one could see us wondering around like crazy people . Found with TC216
Not sure what a gob and good is- description didn't tell me.much. found after checking the coords. Tftc.
Just love those cache containers, I've never seen one leak.Found the coords to be just about spot on and as mentioned earlier the cache was in good condition.Although a little trickier to to find without a hint. Many thanks Throsbyonchurch for hiding and maintaining this cache for all the geocahing community to enjoy
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Waited for the GPS to settle down, and soon had cache in hand. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
#7569- out caching with thomo31. Loving the area- not been here for a while. Once GPS settled it was an easy find. Thanks
This is our 2nd night camped at Daley's Camp in Belangalo State forest.A couple of virtuals, ALs & a variety of traditionls todaySuch a big variety of caches found todayA nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks Throsbyonchurch for hiding this cache.
Found this cache to add to the count. Came along with goingplaces2 and replaced everything after signing the log. TFTC.
Have had a lot of fun hunting caches together with ilook4geo while on a short trip from home. All found logs had both names noted on them before all was returned to place. Many thanks go to Throsbyonchurch for placing this cache.
found this cache on my way home, post-WACCO route adventure!took longer then it should have.
A quick find this evening, aided by the angle of approach. I wonder if I was being watched, of course I didnt see the invisible man, but I couldnt hear or smell him either. Thanks for the cache Throsbyonchurch
Found at 1:54 PM GAFF1.Last cache for the day as we need to get back to camp and prepare our Kebab Mashwi for dinner with a heaps of wine. I think I saw the invisible man at an event a few years ago at Wingello - he was a normal man who was congenial and we had a great time together. Hope that wasn't an apparition! Thanks to Throsbyonchurch
Headed out for an afternoon adventure with the kids today. We decided to collect a cache while in the area. We arrived at GZ and headed off to find the cache.I attempted from one direction, my son from another. My daughter stood guard and watched. I tried a different approach and then spotted something. It was at this moment that I realised that I had made this way harder than it needed to be. From here things got much better. My daughter decided to get involved and retrieved the cache. We signed the log and then returned everything as found. TFTC and the adventure.
Gotta love spontaneous geocaching trips with great mates! Found with Stumble's Mate this arvo to clean up the map a little as last of the day. TFTC!
Out for an impromptu caching day with StumbleTrip and we were ticking off a few local caches along the way. This was an easy find (besides the fact it was a glaringly obvious location as one pulled up) as I'm pretty certain it was the location of a previous multi by the same CO. Anyway, TFTC.

Found with sebass19 on a huge day of caching in the Southern Highlights; all up, 68 finds for me today, not bad considering the heat! Spotted immediately when parking next to GZ. What a lovely little road. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Just needed to get the GPS to settle down and it was then an easy location to sport.
thanks Throsbyonchurch.
thanks Throsbyonchurch.
I’ve stopped here a few times before in the dark with no luck. Today while dodging the rain clouds I again was looking in the wrong spot near the fence when the hubs quickly spotted it. Glad to make this a smiley TFTC
Perfect and pretty spot for a park and grab! Took nothing, left sticker. Geodog approves! My 100th cache!
Decided to get out on foot for some caching today.
This was the first stop after being dropped off at GZ.
A nice quick find

It was time to move on from Goulburn today, but only a short distance to Mossvale.
We did the usual however and stopped to pick up a number of caches along the way, some with short diversions needed.
We also did one waypoint of and Adventure Lab and fully completed another en route. This afternoon we did some further caching as we looked round town. A lot were quite wet, but as Gippslanders from Victoria we understand that is what happens when you have weather like we have had.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Throsbyonchurch.

Here is a little information about me. I have been geocaching since March 2015. At the time of finding this cache, I have over 8550 finds plus 1120 hides. I am the creator of the “Duck Dip” Lab Cache that won 2nd Place for the Australian Capital Territory in the State Vs State - Battle of the Lab Caches at the OzGeoMuster - The Gong Mega (GC7N7ZC) 2019 in Wollongong, Australia. It was my love of Geocaching that helped me find my lovely Wife. I have dedicated a Geocache to her that explains how Geocaching brought us together. That Cache is The Blueiris of Tidbinbilla by DARKSIDEDAN. | GC80WHA | Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
Currently I have over 10,000 Pathtags in my Collection plus over 500 Etagz. My collection includes over 300 JMC Pathtags and 180 Charlie Harper Pathtags. I love to trade pathtags with people at events or via post within Australia only. I currently have four Personal Pathtags 45762 / 46950 / 47696 / 47987 with another three in the works. Note: I do not trade overseas (Australia Only) so please do not ask. Also I do not log my Pathtags on Pathtags.com to keep what I have in my collection private. If you are selling your Pathtags or want to swap Pathtags send me a message. As a bonus to reading this very long log, please feel free to discover my Virtual Trackable AR6QTT. Yes this is my Personal Virtual Trackable and I give permission for you to discover it. Please feel free to share my Virtual Trackable with every geocacher you know.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it.
Geocache Poem
by DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.

***** I am currently writing very detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author". This Badge challenges geocachers to write logs with an average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the May 2021 my average is 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 200 words for a long period of time to get my average up. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After more than 8000 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including today I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task very soon. Progress has been better than anticipated.

**This Cache:**
Spotted this cache in plain sight as we walked up! Nice container though, something a bit unique! Thanks
**Today:**
A trip to the Southern Highlands today with DSD to clean up some of the more "Park and Grab" style caches, rather than being super focused like I usually am! We also managed to sneak in some of the solved puzzles on my list too which were on my to-do list and happened to be along the routes we were taking!
All up a fairly productive day, with 45 finds over a 5 hour period excluding the driving time to/from Canberra. We had a few DNF's and a LOTTT of Did Not Attempts, unfortunately there seems to be a lot of missing caches around the place.
Thanks to all the CO's!

This took awhile to find, as I was on the wrong side. I was about to give up, when I swapped sides. As someone else wrote, 'it’s obvious once you find it.' TFTC Throsbyonchurch.
Spent the day in the Southern Highlands grabbing a few caches. Under beautiful skies I targeted a few areas and strategic finds.
A nice easy find in a spot where I'd found a cache years ago.
Thanks to all the cache owners for contributing to my fun day.

Really behind on my logs and only just catching up, sorry for any generic type logs!
I picked up Littl3Vix early this morning, we were headed down to Mittagong area and we had a big day of fun and caching planned. It was a great day to be out, and an awesome day for us, bagging 30 finds in the few hours we were here.
Number 22 was a nice easy Park and Grab. I pulled up at GZ and we spotted it easily. Great hiding spot! Thanks for the cache!

Find #528 on streak day #177.
An early start today for my geoventure with MizCupcake. We met up and headed down to the Southern Highlands for a day of caching and to enjoy the area. We had a lot of fun making our way through the towns and back roads to each of the caches and had many victorious finds today, ending up with 30 finds by the time we decided to head back home.
Our 22nd find coming through the area. It was a nice and quick park and grab, and a good spot for a hide. We both signed and replaced without hassle. TFTC!

Nice hide and quick find.
I am taking a road trip to Sydney to visit my daughter and picking up caches along the way.

Quick run up the highlands for an EC Day souvenir, took the opportunity to tick a few traditionals off the map as well. Not sure I get the connection of the poetry to the hide, but sure I’ve found a smiley at this GZ before. Quick PnG.
Out and about with Happy Uke again today.
Sorry about the brevity but I am trying to catch up wit a whole lot of logging.
Cheers.

The Geowife is going out most of the day. My calendar is crying for more finds today, and I've only made 10 or more finds once since all this CoVid malarkey started. So decided to target the Moss Vale area...
Went for 18 and found 15. Also met up with **Throsbyonchurch** at one hide - nice to meet you.
Might have gone for more but it started raining as I was making find #13. So grabbed two others as I headed back home.
And for some reason unknown even to me, I think I dated most of my logs the 26th. Sigh.
Still a good day and with 15 finds, the most in a day for a while. And passed the mini-milestone of 7300 to boot!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I'm positive I've been here for a cache before!
So went straight to where my memory tells me I found it last time... and there it is.
Signed, replaced and away to my next target.
