TFTC. Our first find in WA. Quick find, surprised it has not washed away or been muggled
Great HideThanks Up4adoption for the cacheJames0116Wednesday, 14 Aug 20246:33:11PM AWST4729
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 58 - Swan Valley Perth Day 3. After two days of local area caching, I headed further afield to try and cross off some more counties. It seems I just missed one while I was in Fremantle, so back I go to East Fremantle, Mosman Park and Cottesloe. It was a fanatically sunny clear day and very park and beach side spot was busy with people waling and seeing the sights. I started with some tough caches, struggled to find lunch rather than caches and did a few labs late in the afternoon. It was a much longer day and I gave the fourth county a skip for another day. Home for a van cooked meal before heading into the city on the train tomorrow.I walked down the stairs to a sea crashing right at the base of the stairs and heaps of seaweed. The rocks had very little sand as well, but over at the cache, it was soon found in amongst all sorts of neighbors. Thanks for the cache Up4adoption48009.14 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 30 000 Finds A#426**Albida**

Afternoon strong winds, still worth a quick walk on the beach. The kite surfers and winder surfers were out on the water. Tftc.
One last chance, cache!Im giving you one last chance!Ill get my maintainer to replace it, but if it goes missing againthen out you go! Its sad about my oldest cache, but it needs to be. Ill place a better cache here instead then.
I eventually found the rock with the spongy white area the size of a mint tin. Only trouble is mint tin is missing. Tftc
Unfortunately this one looks to be muggled. Have found the camo but no cache or log. Will send pic to CO now.
Hi. Just down at the beach and this one appears to have been muggled. I have left a temporary log in snap lock until you have time to do maintenance. Tftc.
I have left a temporary log in a snap lock so this can be found until maintenance is carried out on this cache. Beaut day at this spot.
Turned over the correct stone. Just one.

Found during my afternoon stroll along Gottesloe beach. Had to wait a bit for some muggles to leave and found it easily thanks to the hint.

Mit dem Team GAME unterwegs. Dieser cache wurde gut gefunden. Danke sagen DiePotsdamer
On our little beach caching tour with DiePotsdamer, this one was on our way and couldn’t hide long to be logged
All good here on a glorious morning before work..no muggles so quick and simple search to avenge a previous blue face..cache and log in excellent condition tftc
Owl has been entirely frustrated with Perth caches but a chance trip to Cottesloe Beach changed all that and she had a great time finding caches while Eagle and the Finnish birds were taking a swim. A nice walk, an interesting view, and a rather longer than expected search until her fingers were in just the right position. Very clever!
Out and about again, after completing 2 Lab Adventures, I cleaned up the western suburbs of Perth.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

What have I learned from this? I should really stop disabling caches just because of some person who says it’s missing. The cache is still there!
I would like to replace this cache. I have it all ready, I just need some silicone.
No luck here for us today.
A plan was hatched for an assault on a number of the labs in and around Perth. Granett, Kyzabra, AlliedOz and I were all planned and set to go.
A couple of days ago, half the gang were knocked out by exposure to the dreaded Covid. This left Kyzabra and I standing.
Headed off early, picked up Kyzabra on the way and off we went. There was a list of labs and caches in mind and a fun day was had.

No luck here. Confirmed the position with a previous finder and there's nothing there. Looked around the area in case it had fallen to no avail.
After doing the new multi nearby Tbh and I walked to this cache and made a quick find of the container once at ground zero. Log signed and cache returned as it was found.

Found it. TFTC ____akluger. Once I got to GZ it was a quick find. beach was deserted, possible because of the amount of weed. Replaced as found.
Enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the beach and made sure to pick up a couple of caches while here Lots of weed on the sand here which meant this particular stretch of beach was completely deserted - even the surf break was quiet. Made my way down the stairs to GZ and proceeded to systematically check possible hosts. Quickly found one which looked the perfect host to camo a mint tin, but the mint tin shaped indentation was empty. I kept searching. I expanded my search a little further and checked a different type of location altogether - and was surprised to make the find! Not sure it's exactly where it's supposed to be as more 'wedged' than within a camo cover - but it's there Happy to put a smiley here - TFTC
While Mr Y'stassie collected information for a virtual nearby Mrs Y'stassie made her way down the steps. She hope that this would get her close to this cache. The cool breeze was keeping people off the beach. A quick search and she had uncovered the the nicely hidden container. The log book was damp but still useable.
Thanks for this cache _akluger. A very good first hide. One thing to keep in mind when hiding mint tins is to remember that they will rust badly if they are in contact with salt water.

Just on a maintenance run Found in a different spot than it was meant to be in but left it in the place where jpfras left it because it was better.
Cache was out in the open but in fairly good shape. A little damp inside but log is intact. Found it’s home and put it back how I suspect it is supposed to be. TFTC!
Still here. Replaced the log. Please remember to push it into its camo firmly.
After a long search, found the cache. Nice hide very sneaky

Started the search after getting down to the beach and methodically searching had the cache in hand after a couple of minutes.

Joined up with I C Northing, Kapelula & Meme28 for a day out caching. The plan originated with the idea to head up to Whiteman Park and try and clear the area of unfound caches. Over coffee this morning the plan changed a little as the idea of a hot day out with little chance of breeze had us looking a bit closer to the city.
Getting into the car with no real destination it was suggested heading to grab some duck caches and see where the day led us. And boy what a day it was, we ended up caching all around the river from Applecross into Fremantle, through Mosman Park before finishing up near Mt Henry Bridge.
At the end of the day I finished with 41 finds, 0 DNF’s & 1 didn’t look for. Ticked off some older caches, got some rarer attributes added to the tally and picked up a first to find.

Thanks ____akluger for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 2679 for me.

Out for a day caching with Kapelula, Meme28 and Cirrus_WA hunting ducks and anything else that takes our fancy. Came to collect this one for the attribute. Nice quick find here.
Nice walk along the beach to this one. Found whilst out on a days caching with I C Nothing, Meme28 and Cirrus_WA. TFTH!
A quick find here, just as well as it was quite hot today... My first one for the year! Thank you for the cache __akluger.
Thought I was getting close when I found an Ikea pencil. Searched the immediate vicinity and soon found the cache. Thanks for the hide.
Find 14 of 19 with 2 DNFs on a mountain bike ride around Mosman Park and Cottesloe on a perfect springtime sunny day.
Lucky to make a quick find here on a deserted beach.
TFTC ____akluger!

Out on a late evening drive after a day of studying. I went to check on two caches, then travelled via the City, Matilda Bay and Cottesloe home. I stopped here to pick up this cache. After a short search I spotted what I was after. A bit of hollowing work completed here! Had my name on the log at 01:10am in the morning. Cheers ____akluger!
We searched for ages but eventually we found it in a very sensible location. We had hoped it would not be down on the wet rocks.. Whew.
It's interesting sitting here watching the people surf when did stand up paddle boarding become the norm?

Found the cache along with a strange pink blobby thing. No pen though, and as the one in the container was blunt, we took a picture instead.
I stopped after early swimming training. I was freezing so I was pleased to log a quick find, snap a photo and get to brekkie nearby. Thanks.
