Logs
Found It!The coordinates for this one are very wrong. After reading some of the previous logs, I eventually found the cache at S33 49.031 E151 12.640TFTC
Yep, gps points to the other side of the river. And log is a wet mess stuck in the bag. I've added a new log and put the box and lid back together SL, Replaced, TFTC Doguy235
It is drenched and illegible to read. But I found it. Dont confuse the lid with trash. I think someone broke it and threw the tuber-ware away. Im too socially anxious to go wander into the bushes to pick it up.
Wow this pin is very far off! Firstly its on the walking track side, and then find the hard seat and you shall find the cache. Everything inside is soaked and need replacement TFTC
Waterlogged container and contents of cache found spread on nearby rock. Replaced where I guessed the true location to be. Needs maintenance / replacement as logs are illegible.
1.5 difficulty for this is very fair. The only hard thing about this cache is that it was very misleading. The pin shows that the cache is on the other side of the creek when its not. The creek was also flooded at the time so we made ourselves a makeshift bridge to cross. Went through all of the overgrown shrubbery just to come to an end where there is no more path. Had to go all the way back and across the stream again to find the cache. Nice other than that, T F T C
First of all I was surprised that the Cache should be on the other side of the creek... luckily it was not. Nice find, big box.
Great cache, lots of room for swaps Like others have said, it's actually on the same side of the water as the path, not the other side. In our case it was 40m away. TFTC
A beautiful place. Lucky we read the previous log. Muggle son was determined the clues lead us here. He persisted and as I read the log, I heard the, here it is
The GPS has you on the other side of the river. I knew it wasn’t there because T/R was 1.5. The clue helped narrow it down
Strangely I though I already logged that cache few months ago.
I sign my pseudo on a non official looking log paper.

Followed previous logs after spending a bit of my early morning time searching a fair distance away. Easily found, thanks for bringing me to this beautiful spot at 6:30am
Found about 30m from posted coords, but clue put us in the right spot (and the gps reception was very patchy here!) - TFTC
Very wet today same for cache logs are a bit damp but all good found today coords way off tho!
Thank you geocache! We found this in crows nest at st Thomas’s rest park and it was very fun to solve the clues!

After parking near the waterside, Eagle Eyed Monkey Girl and I took our backpack with tea and munchies and walked along the edge of the field toward Flat Rock Creek. I love exploring new areas in our beautiful city and to look at the view of the Cammeray Bridge from a different angle.
It was a nice walk along the track. Although the water did not look very clean, we did spot lots of smaller fishes which is always great to see.
Noticing from previous logs the cache coordinates are way off, and is accessible from the trail we gave this one a go and were not disappointed.
After doing legals the cache was replaced as found.

Found this by accident! Was on our way to the coords and sat down to take a stone from my shoe and there it was right out in the open visible from the track. Tried to hide it a bit better.
#16! To bring the message up and so people don't go on mad ones like we did: The coordinates are way way off!! The box is on the main walking path accessible from Tunks Park. Loved the spot and thank you for your effort. Cache in good working order, but one of the lid clips has broken off. Logs in good order with 3 spare pages left, slightly moist but still fine. Zip lock bag now closed properly. Thank you again.
Out for a walk this afternoon. Had tried to get to GZ on a previous attempt but no luck. This time tried from a different angle until reading the logs and reaslised the co-ords are off, and on the wrong side of the river. After that it made more sense and a fairly quick find after that. Thanks.

Out for a jog 'n cache in the area, this was my second stop. I started looking for a way to cross the creek before realising I didn't need to, after which it didn't take long to make the find - TNLNSL TFTC

Out for a nice Saturday afternoon walk in Tunks Park. Lots of walkers, dogs and picnickers. We spotted this container on approach to GZ but we don't think any unsuspecting muggles will see it. Also saw something long and wriggly in the water below - probably an eel. TN L Pegman TB SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Thanks. Like others say the coordinates are quite off. Stay on the path and follow the hints. A great little spot to explore with my kids
Good hiding spot! That was really hard to find! Thank you for doing it! PS: it has kept me entertained during lockdown!
Well. After walking straight past this one initially and going across the gully to try and find it at "GZ" I thought that it was getting a little too crazy in the thick of the bush. Then I read the hint. Back track some 30 minutes, more bush bashing to get out of the scrub that I found myself in. Always look at the hint first, don't cross over. Look for the 4 poles instead with the two sandstone seats. TFTC TFTBB/hunt. TNLN. SL Replaced as found ready for the next geo-adventurers. (coords are wtf out a mile)
Found with Hillary! Coorda were quite off but other logs told me that, lucky i didnt wait until I was on the other side of the gully to check!

Out for three calendar finds this afternoon. Decided to head east towards Cammeray where I have a few choices of target. As I still have a sore arm after yesterday's CoVid jab, the higher terrain caches were out. But I still ended up doing one cache with a very steep, slippery slope. Sigh.
Got all three I went for - HUZZAH! Pity I had to wrestle with some diabolical traffic nearer to home - ended up taking a big detour.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Final find of the day,and after walking across the bridge, this time I got to walk under it.
I never cease to be impressed by how high it is.
Made my way along a familiar track, and noticing where GZ was supposed to be I checked the logs... And added **Brewmaker**'s coords.
Soon I found myself at a familair spot - been here twice before for a cache! And quickly found this one in the same spot as one of them!
Completed signing duties and replaced - between muggle walk-bys. Then time to head back to *The Hademobile* and home.

Found about a week ago. Used the Vikings coords as recommended by Brewmaker and didn’t have to cross the creek! Enjoyed the serenity for a while but had to move on when a holiday camp came to also enjoy the peace.

Had to have a rest before thinking about crossing the creek . Almost put my foot on the cache, so didn't have to walk on water. TFTC Doguy235
Out for a walk with the geodog Zelda. Like others we found the coords are 20m out. Using The Vikings coords (S 33° 49.035 E 151° 12.639) and the hint was an easy find. Please fix the coords. Took a TB. Lovely walk through the bush. TFTC
Whoops, was a bit quick to say I didn’t find it. This must be a little bush chapel. TFTC
With the Vikings coords a fairly quick find. Decent sized cache on a nice walk. SL. TNLN. TFTC
Yep, use Vikings coordinates or you might end up in the wrong side of the creek. TFTC.
Aaargh! Should have read the activity log before looking for this one. Spent a long time trying to find my way to the coords on the other side of the creek. Rainy last night so my shoes are soaked. Anyway, cache found and I love this track so thanks! #105
Found it but I won’t call this a pretty view facing the creek so I turned around and was more impressed
Much like the others, I found TheVikings coords the most useful. Although it helps when you type them in correctly haha, inciedntly, near GZ there are some rocks put around in a half circle, oddly, on the back of one of them, facing away from everything else, there's a tiny little plaque, "In memory of"jsut seems so strange to have it so hidden and tiny?!
anyway, TFTC

A quick find using the Vikings coords. A lovely walk across the playing fields and under the Suspension Bridge, which I haven't previously done although I have driven over the bridge numerous times. Dropped off a trackable. Thanks for showing me this area Doguy235
Today we headed to the other side of the Spit Bridge to grab some caches for International Geocaching Day 2020, and to make a start on the new "Wonders of the World" geo-challenge. Also needed some more finds for the final Memory Lane geo-challenge Souvenir. Started off at Cremorne Point, then down to Tunks Park at Northbridge, and then finished the day at an undisclosed location for a solved Puzzle cache, which hadn't been found for well over 2 years! This was the 4th of 5 finds for the day.
Parked the geomobile on Brothers Avenue, and then walked along the road beside Tunks Park, and then under Long Gully Bridge and along the bush track to GZ. Quickly uncovered the hide and had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. We used **The Vikings** corrected coordinates, which were spot on, so thanks Vikings for those. TFTC Doguy235.
We have been to this exact spot for previous caches over the years, one of which still exists and is very close to this cache. Checked on it today and it's still there in it's hidey hole waiting to be found. So while you are visiting this cache why not have a look for the nearby Archived cache "GCVN79 - Happy Birthday Dad". Find it, log it, and get a bonus smiley (but it won't show up on your caching map).
