This one was hidden in a very sneaky location. We had a previous Finder with us and even then it still took quite a while. Eventually it was spotted, retrieved and brought down to the ground to be signed by chamad, Blue wattle and Domsky. Thanks KrispyKremersDomsky
Found with Domskey, chamad and GS1947Thanks for creating, placing and maintaining for our enjoyment Party time GCARTY0 - 05 October 2025 Sunshine Coast
A caching day was organised with Grannysmith, Bluewattle and myself to grab some weird and wonderful caches. It started out with a morning meetup event at Seventeen Mile Rocks. There was a nice group of people attending there and a new adventure lab which had just sprung up was nice to do. There were a few caches that I had not completed in the area. These had either been replaced or I had new solves for since I was out here last time. A plan was made to grab a few of those and then head of to more exciting caches in Pinkenba, lol. This took some searching and some calculating by all players. It could be this but it looks like this, or maybe it's this but it can't be that... lol. It was quite funny to watch and listen to peoples surmising of what and where. Finally, we had an idea that worked out and a tool to get it out. The log was signed and the cache replaced as found. It would be nice if you could check out, **GCARTY0**, see what is planned for October 2025 and be supporting geocaching in Australia. **ITS A PARTY EVENT!**
We were visiting Oxley for Goldie's Birthday Event that was held yesterday. Today we were out walking the geomuts with stairman1 and Goldielover when stairman1 remembered this cache. Fortunately for us stairman1 could point us in the right direction. Mr. Herbz was elected to make the ascent. However, the cache wasn't where we were expecting it to be. So spritely stairman1 shimmied up above Mr. Herbz. With lots of guidance from below, stairman1 found another little knook and extracted the container. Now this was a 4 man operation as stairman1 passed the cache to Mr. Herbz. Mr. Herbz signed the logbook and dropped the lid! Goldielover hung onto the three geomuts whilst Mrs. Herbz bush bashed her way to the bottom of the tree and retrieved the said lid. Eventually all was replaced as found. TFTC
As one of my closest unfound caches, I have been here and climbed this tree several times without finding the cache. I had an idea where it might be but I wasn't going to risk my life for a maybe. So after Goldielover's Birthday Event today, I asked Davidwazza to come and show me exactly where it was. Turns out I was right about the spot. I'm very glad to finally have my name in this one and although I didn't climb up there today I suspect I will be back to do the climb for myself in the near future.
It took me sooo many lunch breaks solo climbing random trees I came back here so many times, this morning before work decided to use all my senses today is the day I claim my success! Huge thanks to the owners for my amazing tree climbing adventures !
#7730 On our last full day in Brisbane we had some family commitments so just went for a couple of little caching drives, chasing tree climbs and fishing and other interesting caches along the way, we had our fair share of DNFs today, but had fun in any case as always.Avenged! After a frustrating DNF here before we obtained a little intel and came back with the ladder, for a slightly precarious climb and retrieve. A few ant bites later and we were good to go.Thanks for the cache!
#7730Were up in Brisbane for a few days visiting my grandparents, so in between being at home and other various activities, we have time to do some caching! We have our full range of TOTTs with us, so were targeting those caches. end of copy paste DNF Avenged A tough cache for a 3/3! Id call it more of a 4/4. Grabbed the cache and dropped it down to Dad for signing, unknowingly it was covered in ants! Theyre still all over our ladder! TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache KrispyKremers
A triple DNF! Couldnt figure out what tree to climb because GZ was in the middle of the path (At least for me)
Tough one and there were so many good places to hide it but I just couldnt quite find it. Maybe next time!
I remember my frustration at this geocache 2.5 years ago when I visited here on 1/03/2021 and left with a DNF. I remember reading past logs, and the successful visitors commented that they knew the hiding spot well due to a former hidden cache, so us location newbies were left to our own devices to search. When I visited, it was starting to become dark, but today I had the luxury of daylight all around me.A rather tough hide, and I spent a good 10 min searching around, thinking I would once again need to depart with a frown. The coordinates were bouncing around the place, and I had the cache anywhere between 2-9 m, with my averaged coordinates at S 27 32.918' E 152 58.347' (so close enough). Aka, you certainly don't want the tree with barbed wire, like my initial visit and mistake. I had come close to leaving with a DNF once again, but a final glance back at the tree, and I saw a new spot that I hadn't searched, and that yielded success. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks KrispyKremers for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, following the regular Saturday morning parkrun and gymnastics, I escaped for a few hours to geocache the areas around Chelmer, Oxley, and Darra. I've enjoyed travelling around these suburbs in the past, and I targeted the *Oxley* series of WaterWays of Brisbane, and the highly Favourited geocaches by [stairman1](https://coord.info/PR4R27Z). As the heat and fatigue started to get the better of me, I ended my outing with a naughty McHappy Day burger and a few geocaches in Darra, before returning home in the early afternoon.
Arriving at this one it took a bit of searching & reviewing of previous finders notes before we anticipated a likely hide
Thanks KrispyKremers & TeamChappy for placing a diabolical hide!!!

A change in plans saw Peppa and I make our way to Brian Burke Reserve and then tackle some tree climbing caches as we round-a-boutly made our way home.
Our last of the day as the light was fading. We’ve been here before but had no luck so we have returned with extra intel. Up the ladder I went and found the well hidden cache.

Davinells and I had a plan… due to a friend being incapacitated(don’t get old) we found our own fun today….
Targeting caches that required a special skill set or one of the many tools in the boot of Renaldo we made our way from Samford through the Western burbs back home…
This cache has been a bugbear for way to long… as one of the closest unfound to home it is a constant reminder of my many unsuccessful visits…
Today armed not only with the ladder (again) but some new intel we were in and out in about 10 minutes… which was lucky as it’s getting dark…
Some passing muggles did stop to gawk at Davinells up the tree… like they’ve never seen a sonographer in a tree before…
Thanks KrispyKremers

No luck,
Absolutely no idea what we are looking for.
Previous posts haven’t helped with this one either.

After a hill climb down South I grab a few on the way. Quick easy find here.

Out caching with RoddyC, Hatzofff and grannysmith1947 on the Northside of Brisbane to turn a few coloured spots into Smilies.

A Saturday caching mostly on the north side with hatzofff, imbunda and Grannysmith1947.
After aborting on the previous visit it was nice to put a yellow Smiley here. Grannysmith1947 did the honours.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 3:16 pm on 18 March 2023. TFTC, KrispyKremers & _TeamChappy_

Caching today with RoddyC imbunda and grannysmith1947 on this side if town. Always seems to be a dot out there that needs a smile.
We had been here before and were not prepared to spend the time doing it. But knew we would be back.
Today we called it and made a guess as to where to place our TOTT.

Out and about doing what I love, caching. Just happened to have the right TOTT and a 16 year old monkey with me and it was easy, for him not me. TFTC KrispyKremers & _TeamChappy_
After reading previous finds, couldnt spot this cache from the ground and was not going to risk injury to climb stupidly high in a tree.
Not willing to risk life or limb for a geo placed in a random spot with no purpose……
Out with T-Tech for a few hours and we called by to visit this cache. We searched where GPS put us, but there didn't seem to be anything there, so I went about 8 metres further up to where the previous cache was hidden, and this one was in the exact same spot! TFTC, KrispyKremers & _TeamChappy_.
Out today with IolantheK for a bit of caching between dropping off and picking up Grand kids [^]
Not an easy place to look for a micro in the bush, but IolantheK got me to look where we found the previous cache last time.
Wooh hoo and we have a find [^[

Have tried to find this one before, but couldn't find it. This time I read some of the more recent posts and realised that I was close the first time, but maybe just didn't go far enough! With the onlooking help of the geokids, I went that next level and tried a location pointed out by my son. Eureka! Am glad we returned for a second try. TFTC!
After getting a hint about the location, we came armed with climbing equipment as neither of us wanted to tree climb that high. Great to get a smiley face on this one finally. TFTC
OMG it is so good to have this smilie on the map. I have languished over this one far too long. It was the nearest unfound to home but I just couldn't budge it!
I had made probably 6 attempts and finally reached out to a previous finder for explicit help. In doing so it became obvious why I couldn't get the cache. I would never willingly risk my own life and this cache seems to demand that.
Today, I did the climb up and went beyond where I have ever gone before. I held on for dear life whilst the log was signed and I returned it whence it came. So happy not to have to return to this one. TFTC KrispyKremers & TeamChappy!

Grabbed this cache today with 5Meerkats. I'd found this one's previous version so I had a clue about where this one might be hidden - same idea but potentially even more well hidden than the original! I signed the log while 5Meerkats did the climb. Thanks again for the tricky tree climb!
This evening, and needing a multi-cache and puzzle type for today's calendar day, I decided to travel to Oxley to complete the *Yes… But is it art?* Adventure Lab, and find other geocaches in the vicinity as time allowed. It was a nice temperature evening as the heat had dropped away, and so a rather enjoyable area.
Unfortunately I had a DNF at this location. The coordinates for GZ had me looking between two large trees, with one looking more prominent than the other. I climbed up a few branches on both, but still couldn’t spot anything. It seems like past finders of the original cache have an edge at this location. Perhaps I need to return with a past finder to have any luck here? Thanks anyway KrispyKremers and _TeamChappy_ for the cache placement.

Grabbing a pair of caches between the showers this wet day.
Having been first on the previous one here I knew where to look.
Could almost rely on muscle memory for finding the cache.
Easier with a bit of light.
Thank you for this climb

A few minutes to spare so wandered over here. Not sure but thought I could see something from the ground. Long story short by the time I was halfway up the tree and a tangle of branches and limbs, like a human jigsaw puzzle, the local cavalry arrived to assist. I thought a tool from the car would be necessary however it turned out all that was needed was some support.

Back again for another try. The previous cache here had me stumped for a little while, but I did eventually manage to spot and retrieve it from its hiding spot. Again, I had seen this one from the ground first before climbing up to make my mark. Whatever happened to the previous incarnation?
Similar to Teamtinda, I was ill dressed for the occasion. The bulky boots came off which made climbing substantially easier.

That’s a beaut cache... nicely made.
We recall the previous cache that was here so this wasn’t too hard to find.
This was a tricky tree climb.
Thanks heaps for the fun cache.

Time for a lunchtime cache, and this one was sticking out on the map like a sore thumb. I wandered in and wondered how many times I’ve been here... I think it’s about four. There used to be a waypoint for a really strange multi in here which took a couple of visits at least.
Anyway, I wasn’t really dressed for the task (see pic) but remembered where to go, more or less, and clambered up. Just like last time, the cache was found by feel not sight, and there was a lot of bits and pieces to hold without dropping. But all went well.
TFTC and the good workout today!

I was unaware of the republishing of this cache until NurseyJulie contacted me and said "seems we have another tree climb out Oxley way". What she actually meant was "Hey Gunnie, bring your ladder and climbing skills, I need my name in that log book"...
So, on a lazy and very quiet Sunday morning, we adjourned at a familiar GZ and got the job done. NJ does play a very good ladder support role... An easy find when you know where the cache is and Version II made it easier again by me not having to pass the cache down to NJ for the log signing bit.
All done and back on terra firma, we headed off to tidy up the last of the unclaimed smileys in the area. Seems like we were only at this GZ last month, oh, hang on... [^]
Cheers KrispyKremers & _TeamChappy_.

Back here for a repeat visit to this GZ. We only found this one a month or so ago and when I saw it was republished - I made contact with Gunnie69 to have the TOTT at the ready again. Today we met at the GZ and the deed was done by Gunnie's expert climbing skills with the assistance of his TOTT. A quicker find and sign and and we were on our way to make a few more smilies in the neighbourhood. TFTC
Quick easy find as I knew where it would be. I notice that I was the last finder of the previous incarnation. I hope I didn’t contribute to it’s demise in any way. Thanks for the cache
Best cache I have ever found. Supreme craftsmanship and perfect location
EDIT: For those in the know, I was personally called out and baited by the KK's with this cache after Version 1 was published. After an initial DNF which had resulted in barbed wire being lodged in my shin and my head lamp batteries dying, I returned to avenge things only to find the original had gone walkies. Thusly, the CO graciously permitted me to log a smiley on our co-owned cache.
Cheers, Kremers! Long live TTR II
