We seached for ages. Didnt find. Im guessing someone took it or something happened to it. Or we just didnt find it. Lucky my grandmas place was right around the corner so it wasnt a waste!!
Today, my plan was to head north to the Sunshine Coast, and attend the Coolum Beach weeding CITO. Following the event, I managed to hike a few mountains in the area, starting with Mount Coolum ascending from west to east, followed by Emu Mountain for that virtual cache. I then spent the afternoon finding geocaches around the area and along the beach promenade, which was quite enjoyable, and continued south down to Maroochydore and Mooloolaba. A few Adventure Labs were completed during the day, including *Coolum Beach Sightseeing*, *Point to Point Promenade*, and *Sunshine Coast Coastal Pathway*.
I parked just next to this geocache to then walk around the lake, and hence I began trying to find this cache. After searching the wrong tree, I walked back to the other tree, where i quickly found the cache container. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks camdd, Spike_da_Little_Gene, and lostandfound83 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Didn't take long to find once I narrowed down the right tree. The park was empty, perhaps everyone is still snuggled up in bed on this chilly morning.

3:03:00 PM. Happened to be in the area so parked up and we took our geodog on a nice walk to GZ. Enjoyed the boardwalk to the cache. Found and log signed. A pleasant outing and thanks for bringing us here. Thanks for the cache camdd
Spending a couple of nights at Cooroy, caching in the Sunshine Coast area. Spectacular coastal views or mountain views from most areas that we travelled. Throw in a couple of ALs plus a few caches & its made for an enjoyable stay in your area.
Thankyou camdd for placing this cache.

Thanks for this quick find- it contained the most interesting swaps I’ve seen for a while! Mossies not too bad today. TFTC
I was having a seemingly arbitrary and varied day today. An early morning drive from Brisbane had me at a paddle event at Traveston Crossing. Then, with the event finished in the middle of the day, I was keen to maximise my day up north, so went for a drive. I travelled through Brooyar State Forest, found a quick geocache in Gympie, then tracked for Point Arkwright and a choice geocache there.
Not at all familiar with the area, I navigated to the closest parking. My drive was lovely, listening to a new podcast. But, the park I chose worked and happened to be right near this geocache. I won't argue with a bonus find for the day! And while it suggests parking elsewhere and walking the trail, I would walk the trail anyways. But geocache first!
My phone navigated to a likely tree and I began poking about while keeping half an eye out for muggles. I spotted some human-detritus first, but the geocache wasn't far away and turned out to be in good condition. I signed my name and replaced all as found. I'm a happy boy having made an extra find and now about to embark on the trot around the nearby boardwalk. Thanks for this geocache, and showing me this park, camdd

Such a lovely little spot. Great place if you love mosquitos otherwise bring the repellent! Didn’t get a chance to walk through the bush this time but have done so in the past and it’s a great walk. TFTC!
Quick find thanks for the hint. Lovely Park.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here camdd, Spike_da_Little_Gene, lostandfound83.

Out doing the AL along the coast line and then ventured in to seek out a couple of inland cache placements.
- an enjoyable therapeutic experience.

Our GPS took us around 10 metres away towards a neighboring yard but it was still a quick find as we didn't think it could be in that direction. Cache was fairly visible.
When we pulled up in the car, Mrs Woodyrothwell was complaining about a sore foot. Apparently her shoes were causing some grief and rather than ask for anymore information that might rot my brain I jumped out alone.
She did yell from the car that she would come out and find it once I couldn’t. The nerve of her! She has so little faith in my ability which is probably well deserved after I forgot our anniversary over a decade ago.
I will admit that it took me some time because I was originally looking around the wrong tree. Still I didn’t want to be the one to make her hobble out of the car so I kept with it until the cache was found. I’m assuming she also expects me to give a feet rub when we get home. I might need some wine for that. tftc

Continuing down the coast this afternoon, we stopped off here for a quick find. All good with the cache. TFTC camdd
This is my favourite cache so far why? Because me and my dad and step mum hid it.
A rainy day and not a soul to be seen in the park. Perfect for geocaching.
An easy find although our gps took us about 10m away from GZ. The hint was very welcome. We signed the log and replaced the cache as we found it. Thanks to the CO for taking us to this park via the bush track.

A nicely placed cache published today. A very quiet area this morning and a good cache to find. Log signed and returned as found. Thanks to the CO’s and for the scratchy!
