A trip out to Snug Falls this afternoon to get these caches. The weather played nice for the most part, we got a few sprinkles of rain, but nothing heavy. The falls were amazing today, this mornings rain certainly would have helped with that. The hint was helpful here as well, as the GPSr had me focusing on the stump at first. Favourite point. Thanks for the cache Budgietas!
Toller Cache! Auf unserer heutigen Tour konnten wir "Snug as a Bug in a Rug" gegen 12:53 finden und uns im Lock verewigen. Danke frs Legen und Pflegen.
We were expecting a low flow at the falls, but Ive never seen then this dry!At GZ, I spotted the probable hide straight away, but it didnt quite match the hint, so I looked elsewhere before coming back to it.Thanks!
Thank you for the cache! A best friend and I wanted to go for a bush walk today that also involved a couple of caches. I havent been on this walk in a while so it was definitely lovely to come do it again while also looking out for some new finds. Much appreciated, thank you!
I had visited membsec yesterday and LadyM had recommended these falls to me. With no plans for today I bundled the muggle family into the rental and off we went. That sure is a crazy road on the drive in! We nearly had a hippy van crash into us on the way up Inches from stopping! After parking. Down, down, down we wandered. I was praying that mini munchkin wasnt thinking about all the up, up, up we would have to do on the return trip Arriving at GZ I spotted a very likely SPOR. Woohoo! There it is With my scribble on the log and cache back safely in its hidey hole we continued on to enjoy the beautiful Snug waterfall. Thanks for the cache Budgietas Happy to part with a FP for a lovely location!
Found this one today whilst walking the geopup, once again it was a very quick find thanks to the hint, TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
Found yesterday. Lovely walk and great cache with excellent hint. No pen in cache so we didn’t sign (didn’t have one with us to leave).
Found with the aid of 5 year old assistant geocacher on a Sunday perambulate to the falls.
Our last day in Tassie & we enjoyed this short walk. We had lunch on the rocks by the falls & the kids loved spotting an eel swimming around the rocks. Great location, FP for me. TFTC.
Hello Budgietas thank you for the cache

Thanks for the cache Budgietas.
Last time I walked this track I only had one GeoGSP, today I had both in tow. Just about everyone I passed walking in (there were heaps....first day of school holidays) asked me if the dogs were going to help me by pulling back up the hill on my return....I wish!
We walked past GZ on the way in as there were muggles on the track in both directions. After admiring the falls and letting the doggoes have a bit of a splash and a drink, we decided to head back up to the track to see if we could spot the cache.
We zeroed in on the spot, but had to wait as some muggles had followed us. I did my shoelaces up and then quickly retrieved the well-cammoed cache, signed the log, replaced the cache and headed off back the track.
And yes, the GeoGSP's were a little bit of help going back

Quick find on the way back up. Lots of walkers today so had to be sneaky. Our first time at these falls, missed it on our last visit to Snug so glad we finally got here.
Found today with family members on our walk to the falls. One of our party spied it while I was reading out the details and hint.
With the handy elaborate clue i had this one in hand in under a minute, Chuffed-As!
SL of a dry log book at 12:27 on TGIF 17 December 2021, on this perfect sunny day with a temp around 20oC up here [^]
The track down to Snug Falls is in great condition, is wide and family friendly.
Phone reception [Telstra] is good the whole way for humble Smart-Phone users like me so i was rapt with that
Thanks for showing me such a stunning area with plenty of chirpy birds

It was a beautiful day for a walk. Got both Snug and Kiernans Falls. This cache was an easy find. Logbook bag had a hole in it so it was a little damp and the pencil lead was broken so I was glad I brought my pen. TNLN TFTC!
While staying at the Snug caravan park we decided to walk to these 2 caches in the late afternoon as it was not as hot then. A nice walk down to the falls, but coming back was a bit slower. There were plenty of muggles about, wow never seen so many about during the week, but show day must of bought them out.
Plenty of water flowing over the falls today, agreat sight!.
A quick find, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks Budgietas for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We decided that because this morning was such a beautiful sunny day that we would venture south to find some caches that have been published since our last visit or caches that were missing on our last visit. However the temperature in places were fairly low as our car kept telling us to be careful due to ice on the road (3 degrees or lower). Before we arrived at the first cache, we had a bit of drama. Going down a hill and slowing down due to road works, the ute behind us lost 3 melamine sheeting. These sheetings went straight towards us, luckily only hitting our back tyres then flying upwards, thankfully landing on the road behind us. We stopped and the Ute behind us stopped to check both our car for any damage and to pick up the 3 sheetings, which were only slightly damaged on the edgings. One “P” plater was a bit shaken and very sorry for what happened. The 3 sheets from the road and the 3 remaining on top of the Ute were moved to the back of the Ute, hopefully staying there until they reach their destination.
As I mentioned in the previous log, this was a great walk and the falls, further on were fantastic.
The container was snug in a bug! I’m so glad we came today!
Thanks so much for bringing us here and a favourite point.

Nice easy find once I looked at the hint, gps was completely off on my phone due to reception and sent me on a wild goose chase
Quick find, and a great walk. A group of muggles walked past when I was logging...

Out for a drive and decided to grab a couple of cache. We timed it right between small showers. Signed log TTM and replaced as found.
A beautiful day for a walk into the falls today. It
Looked stunning when we got there with the sun shining down on the water. A quick find. TFTC

The cache was retrieved as we were leaving the falls. The hint was very useful because the GPS wasn't much help at this location. The cache was found quickly and returned while i caught up to the slowest of our group. Who came down slowly and even slower back up. True to form, one of our party fell in, not long after this photo was taken. Although it was only one leg up to the knee.

Second visit here. Last time we missed the caches so came back today to do them. It's a nice walk and waterfall. Thanks Budgietas
S_38 and I spontaneously decided to finally turn these two caches into smileys. Nice stroll on a Monday afternoon. TFTC.
It was a perfect day for a walk into the falls. This is the first time we have been here. There was a little water flowing over the falls. A very picturesque and peaceful location. Thanks Budgie for placing a cache here.
For a while now we've been meaning to take Little Miss Nataliec1234 on a walk to Snug falls - Mr and Mrs had paid a few visits 10+ years ago, but not since she'd arrived (nor since we'd started caching). Obviously the falls themselves were the main drawcard, but a couple caches along the way certainly didn't hurt!
We elected to skip this one on the way in - the lure of the falls themselves was just too strong! We spent a good hour or so at the falls, exploring around the pool at the bottom and a little downstream. Eventually though, it was time to leave for the return journey - and to pick up this cache.
At GZ, the hide was pretty evident straight away, but we were delayed a little by a stream of passing muggles. Shortly after though, the cache had been found, signed and returned, and we were back on our way.
Thanks for the cache!

Hint helped pinpoint this quickly. It has been 20 years since we were last at Snug Falls
Found, hint lead us straight to it,
Thank you great place along the waterfall walk

It was a lovely winter's day and we thought we would head down this way to find a few newly published caches that have appeared since our last visit and this was one of them. This is a great walk that we haven't done since finding the cache at the falls when we first started caching about nine years ago, so nice to return. There was plenty of water coming over the falls today and six people at the falls and six coming and going. So not too busy. Deserves a favourite as a beautiful spot to visit. TFTC
A nice walk this afternoon whilst enjoying a day out caching in the area. A good hint made this an easy find, which was nice & sensible being that there can be many muggles around. After finding the cache we went down to the falls and had the place to ourselves. TFTC Budgietas!

Out for a quick pre-dawn walk with Puglumps and this was a quick find. The recent rain has made reaching the cache in its hidey-hole a slippery experience. This was my #150 cache. My numbers may be small, but my passion is still strong. TFTC Budgietas
Found on an early morning walk to the falls with Whypie. With no one else around we were able to quickly locate the cache. TFTC
Thanks Budgietas for the cache.
This was a nice, easy find.
There wasn't much water coming over the falls today, but still it was worth coming down, very beautiful.

Hi Budgietas,
TFTC,
A nice night to be out and about with EeePees finding caches. It is not as cold as we thought so we are nice and warm. Good track that has been walked by myself a few times. Good find and spot.
Thanks again,
KingSmev

Hi Budgietas, thanks for the cache.
We walked down here from 'the hut' cache and the mud seemed to increase.
I'm rather glad we decided on a night visit, as there were no others on the track, and plenty of room to park.
A fairly quick find given the hint, and again, save for OldSaint's beta scribble, the FTF spot was blank, so pleased to claim another joint FTF with KingSmev; thanks.
On this occasion we didn't head down to the falls, we've both visited several times before.
However, I'd encourage anyone who hasn't been here to definitely visit the falls.
Thanks for bringing me here again. A fav.
When the notification came thru I was just about to sit down to dinner, so I sat down to a delicious roast. Deliberated whether or not to head out (and leaning toward not), but KingSmev was a bit keen, so after dinner we rugged up and headed to Snug.
A little later we were parked and soon walking down what slowly became a muddy track, on a beautiful starry night.
This is the second time I've walked this track at night as I came down here one night a couple of years ago with AlbyDangles and AmazingDaughter on a photography mission .
Cheers, EPs.
